Lorenzo Bettoni and Richard Hall return with a brand-new episode of the Football Italia Show to discuss the latest talking points in Italian football, including Alphadjo Cissé’s record-breaking achievement and Juventus’ win over Celta Vigo in the Europa League.

Cissé has made history as the youngest Italian player to score a hat-trick in a European competition, putting himself firmly in the spotlight with a remarkable performance in Milan’s 4-0 Europa League win over RB Salzburg.

Lorenzo and Richard agree that the talented youngster has already shown enough quality and potential to merit a call-up to the senior Italy national team, raising the question of whether he could soon take the next step in his international career.

Serie A and Italian football got further encouragement on Thursday, as Juventus secured a 2-1 away win over Celta Vigo.

The result gave the Bianconeri another positive moment on the European stage, while Pape Matar Sarr also caught the eye with a scintillating display.

In the latest episode, Bettoni and Hall discuss Cissé’s growing reputation, debate his chances of earning an Italy call-up, and assess the latest performances making headlines across European football.
