After the first-half debacle in Norway, Vincent Kompany took immediate action. The Bayern coach made a triple substitution at half-time!
Nathaniel Brown had to leave the pitch and was replaced by Alphonso Davies. Jonathan Tah's evening was also over, with Dayot Upamecano coming on for the Germany international. Lennart Karl also stayed in the dressing room at half-time. Ismael Saibari came on in his place.
It remains to be seen whether the new players can breathe fresh life into the team. In the meantime, Germany's record champions have at least pulled a goal back. Harry Kane converted a penalty awarded for a foul to make it 2-1 to Viking.
