The European week continues for Italian teams, but it is the Italian players who are really shining ( see Doumbia's goal here ), while in Serie A, Davide Nicola is now close to joining Venezia.
Let's take a look at the biggest news concerning the top clubs in our league.
Juventus, Çelik doubtful for Celta clash
According to Sky Sport , Çelik trained separately from the rest of the squad on the eve of the Europa League clash against Celta Vigo.
His condition will be assessed in the coming hours: it may have been nothing more than a precaution, but he remains doubtful for both the trip to Spain and the subsequent league game against Lazio.
Milan, Camarda to start in Europa League
As Luca Bianchin of La Gazzetta dello Sport wrote on X , Camarda will start tomorrow's game against Salzburg .
The striker will give Goncalo Ramos a rest as he looks for his first European goal after having one disallowed against Brugge two years ago. On the injury front, Chukwueze has travelled with the squad despite a muscle niggle.
Inter, Chivu considering Provedel
Following the Champions League defeat against Brugge, Chivu reportedly announced changes at Inter.
According to Sky Sport , these will concern the team's overall approach rather than individual players: tactical balance, game management and mentality all need improvement. In addition, Provedel's moment could be approaching.
Napoli, deal for new stadium close
According to Il Mattino , Napoli are reportedly close to an agreement with Q8 for around 25 hectares of the former refinery site in San Giovanni a Teduccio, where the new stadium is expected to be built.
The plans include a stadium with around 70,000 seats, 120 skyboxes, parking facilities, public parks and a new road network. Once construction begins, the work could be completed in 24–30 months.
Roma, Mourinho mural defaced
Just hours before the Champions League clash between Roma and Real Madrid, a mural honouring Mourinho in the Italian capital was defaced.
The mural, titled "We held hands on top of Europe..." , was created by street artist Drugi.
Lazio, Gattuso turned down Kepa to keep Mandas
According to Il Messaggero, Gattuso reportedly insisted on keeping Mandas in the summer, even going so far as to block a potential deal for Kepa.
So far, the numbers have vindicated that decision: after six rounds, Mandas is Serie A's best goalkeeper according to the cited data, with four goals conceded, 4.36 goals prevented and a save percentage of 86.7%.
Fiorentina, eyes on Santiago Beltrán
According to Corriere dello Sport , Fiorentina do not consider extending David De Gea's contract a priority, with his current deal expiring in 2028.
The main factors are reportedly his age and salary of around €3 million . A final decision will be made during the season, while the Viola are said to be already monitoring River Plate's Santiago Beltrán as a potential alternative in goal.
