JJ Gabriel has a very bright future in football, but it's looking almost certain that it won't be at Manchester United.

The youngster, who only turned 16 years old a few days ago, is regarded as one of the best young players in world football and one of the most promising players United have had in their academy for some time.

However, Gabriel has no intention of remaining with the Red Devils as he told the club he wanted his registration cancelled last month. United still hope he will change his mind and are refusing to accept his request.

Gabriel has not trained with the club since and is now expected to move to one of the biggest clubs in world football, with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain all believed to be interested. United will reportedly be compensated with as little as £350,000 if Gabriel does indeed move abroad.

The five demands Gabriel made to the club in the months before he decided to leave have now been revealed by numerous sources.

According to Sky Sports, Gabriel was instructed by his family not to return to Carrington alongside the club's other U21 players for the start of pre-season, as he believed that was beneath him. He wanted to return from pre-season at the same time as United's first-team players and only train with them.

Per ESPN, JJ Gabriel requested to be given the number 77 shirt for this season. This was accepted by the club. Gabriel also wanted to have 'Gabriel JR' on the back of his shirt and United petitioned the Premier League on his behalf to allow his wish to be fulfilled.

Gabriel's representatives also told United that before entering discussions over a scholarship he must play at least 20 minutes in the Champions League against Sabah, in their Carabao Cup third round fixture against Brighton and in the Premier League game against Bournemouth.

The youngster was not included in the squad to face Sabah, with other youngsters Shea Lacey and Harry Amass given playing time instead. He told United he wanted to leave following the snub. He was expected to make his first-team debut against Bournemouth a few days later, but he was left out as a result of his exit request.

Gabriel was able to sign a pre-contract agreement with United when he turned 16 on October 6, with professional deals permitted after a player's 17th birthday. According to the Times, Gabriel is requesting a seven-figure salary, despite his youth. That works out to over £19,000-per-week.

Bayern, one of the clubs interested in Gabriel, are not willing to meet those demands but are willing to offer him promises regarding his development and future game time.
