The board at La Liga champions Barcelona have identified a member of the defensive ranks at Premier League outfit Leeds United as a potential signing for next summer.

This comes amid the understanding that Deco and co. are keeping a close eye on the development of Tarik Muharemović.

Stopper Muharemović only took his talents to England this past summer, in a big-money move from Serie A side Sassuolo. And the Bosnian, also a prominent figure at international level, has since gone on to make a thoroughly positive impression in what is currently considered to be world football’s strongest league.

Across Leeds’ 10 fixtures between the Premier League and League Cup, Muharemović has featured from the off in all 10, starring from his berth at the heart of the Whites’ defence.

So much so that, as alluded to above, the 23-year-old has made his way onto the transfer radar of one of European football’s very top clubs. As per a report from Mundo Deportivo , citing TEAMtalk:
