Thibaut Courtois will miss tonight’s match between Barcelona and Real Madrid on matchday 10 of LaLiga. Real Madrid officially announced his absence, citing a bout of flu.
His withdrawal came at the last minute, after the squad had already been announced. Illia Voloshyn takes his place in the squad, although Lunin will start in Barcelona.
There is plenty at stake in the standings in El Clásico: a Barça win would leave Real Madrid nine points behind.
The match takes place this Sunday, October 25, at 21:00. Mourinho’s starting lineup has yet to be announced.
