La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Saturday unveiled the club’s squad to take on arch rivals Barcelona tomorrow evening.

The season’s first edition of El Clásico is of course set to play out on Sunday, when table-topping Barcelona welcome Real Madrid to Catalunya’s capital.

The visitors head into the matchup in the knowledge that they simply cannot afford a defeat, a result which would see them fall a full nine points off the pace of Hansi Flick’s champions.

José Mourinho, as a result, has named his strongest possible squad for the fixture, including returning defensive star Éder Militão. Vinícius Jr, on the other hand, remains absent owing to his ongoing suspension from domestic action.

Barcelona, on the other hand, have opted against revealing their squad on the eve of the Clásico, instead expected to confirm Hansi Flick’s panel of players on Sunday morning.
