Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala has had a rough time over the last year or so. After a severe injury suffered at the Club World Cup, the German talent’s luck has not gotten any better, with medical issues and continued injuries plaguing the talented attacker.
Musiala missed his opportunity to represent Germany under Jürgen Klopp over the international br eak and, since then, has been unable to play at club level either. Latest reports now indicate that Musiala will certainly miss the upcoming fixtures a gainst Arsenal and SC Freiburg.
According to Sky’s Kerry Hau , Musiala will likely make his comeback at the end of October against Magdeburg or Boruss ia Dortmund, both of which are crucial matches for Bayern’s season. While it remains uncertain at this moment, it is clear that the club is being patient with their player.
Another question is whether or not Jürgen Klopp will call up the German talent. It is clear that the nat ional team will need all the assets at Klopp’s disposal to ensure they advance to the UEFA Nations League quarterfina ls, but it is not certain just how much Musiala will be available for the fixtures against Serbia and the Netherlands in Nove mber.
Hopefully, we do not see yet another case of further injuries while on international duty, but it is clear that at least Bayern Munich are going to be very cautious with their s uperstar’s recovery.
