Bayern Munich said “enough is enough” and smashed RB Leipzig 6-1 in Munich. Luis Díaz led the proceedings with his second Bundesliga hat-trick, supported by Harry Kane, Michael Olise, and Aleksandar Pavlović. Speaking after the game, Tom Bischof said the Bavarians were determined to play at their best today and it paid off.
> “We were determined to play a good home game today – things worked very well and we had a lot of fun on the pitch,” Bischof said (as captured by X account @iMiaSanMia ). “We could even have scored more goals – but after two draws in a row, it was very important to get this win.”
Bayern heads into the game against Arsenal in the Champions League next week with a spring in their step, despite the absence of Michael Olise due to suspension. Today’s match is Bayern’s first win in all competitions in nearly a month, their last win coming in the 7-0 routing of Union Berlin.
