Real Madrid will be gunning to make it two wins in two games in the UEFA Champions League as they take on AS Roma later tonight at Stadio Olimpico.

With kickoff not far away, manager Jose Mourinho has announced the starting lineup that will be taking the field against the Serie A giants.

And the big news is that Vinicius Jr. returns to the lineup after being benched for the weekend La Liga game against Villarreal.

The Brazilian international has been handed a four-match ban in domestic competitions for his red card against the Yellow Submarine. He will be looking for redemption with a strong performance in the Champions League.

Vinicius’ return comes at the expense of Arda Guler, who drops to the bench, while Yan Diomande retains his place in the Real Madrid attack alongside Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius.

Jude Bellingham continues as the attacking midfielder while the double pivot of Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni also remains untouched.

Meanwhile, in defence, there are two alterations, both in the full-back slots, as Denzel Dumfries and Marc Cucurella replace Trent Alexander-Arnold and Alvaro Carreras, respectively.

Thibaut Courtois continues in the Real Madrid goal as usual.
