A Real Madrid player since 2018, Thibaut Courtois is a Casa Blanca legend. After 342 matches played with the Merengues, the Belgian goalkeeper has won four Leagues, two Champions Leagues, two European Super Cups and an Intercontinental Cup. Free from any contract at the end of the season, the 34-year-old should return.
The Athletic affirms that Courtois is on the verge of signing a new contract which will link him to Real Madrid until 2028. Despite his age, the Belgian is still considered by his managers to be the best goalkeeper in the world. The promotion of Andriy Lunin to the number one position is therefore still not on the agenda!
