Bayern Munich will look to get back on track in the UEFA Champions League when Vincent Kompany’s side takes on Norwegian outfit Viking FK on Tuesday, October 13th.

Coming off a frustrating 2–2 draw with FC Augsburg in the Bundesliga, Bayern will be eager to deliver a more convincing performance on the European stage. Despite dominating the statistics against Augsburg, defensive mistakes proved costly, and Kompany’s side will need to be more disciplined if it wants to make a deep Champions League run.

All eyes will be on Bayern’s attacking stars, particularly Harry Kane, Michael Olise, and Luis Díaz, as the German giants look to make their quality count against their Norwegian opposition. Bayern will also need to show greater composure at the back after Manuel Neuer’s costly error against Augsburg.

Viking, meanwhile, will relish the opportunity to test itself against one of Europe’s biggest clubs. Bayern cannot afford to underestimate its opponent, particularly away from home, where the atmosphere could provide an additional challenge.
