Barcelona boss Hansi Flick has warned his players against complacency ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League tie in Turkey against Galatasaray.
The German coach has seen his team make a perfect start to the season , winning all nine games so far, but knows a very tough test is up next.
> “We’ll be playing against Galatasaray on Tuesday. We’ll be playing in the world’s loudest stadium. We need to prepare for that. This is the Champions League, it’s different. Every team in the Champions League is very good,” he told reporters.
> “Galatasaray have a fantastic striker like Osimhen, they really have a great squad. We need to be ready for this match. We must play our best football against Galatasaray.”
Flick is expected to play his strongest team possible for the match, according to Sport, which is another reason why Pau Cubarsi, Pedri and Fermin Lopez were given a breather against Getafe.
The report adds the coaching staff view the game as “one of the most complex outings of the entire group stage, at the same level of difficulty as the visit to PSG.”
Osimhen and Leroy Sane have been highlighted as two huge threats to Barcelona, while the players will also need to be handle the ferocious atmosphere inside the stadium if they are to take home all three points.
