Mohamed Belloumi came off the bench to earn Hull City a 2-2 draw in a thrilling four-goal second-half which leaves Everton still unbeaten.

Hull led shortly after half-time when Joe Gelhardt capitalised on a mistake from Everton right-back Ainsley Maitland-Niles, sending a delicate chip past Jordan Pickford in the 49th minute.

But Maitland-Niles soon atoned for his error with an inch-perfect cross for the outstanding Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who nodded in the equaliser and the first goal Hull have conceded at the MKM Stadium this season, after a VAR check ruled out Brennan Johnson's opener for offside in the first half.

Everton created eight big chances, and five fell to Thierno Barry, who finally took one, finishing past Konstantinos Tzolakis to put the visitors ahead after good work from Dewsbury-Hall to make the most of Sorba Thomas's loose pass.

However, Hull were not finished, and within six minutes they levelled when the dangerous Belloumi, benched after the international break due to tiredness, beat Pickford with a low shot shortly after coming on.
