Away from the field after a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament and a rupture of the external meniscus of the right leg at the beginning of March, Rodrygo Goes set the networks on fire by publishing a video of himself with the ball in training on the lawns of Valdebebas. And the least we can say in view of these images is that the Brazilian international (37 caps) has lost none of his technical finesse. But if these signals are extremely encouraging for Real Madrid, the Merengue medical management prefers to procrastinate. According to the Spanish press, the medical staff strongly recommends that he continue his rehabilitation protocol without rushing things, targeting complete reintegration into the group in January, at the end of the winter break. Very impatient, the player hopes to beat the odds to return during the month of December.

This rise in power and the prospect of seeing the 25-year-old Brazilian star back at 100% constitute excellent news on paper, but also heralds a major headache for José Mourinho. The Portuguese technician will have to integrate an element of this dimension into an offensive sector that is already particularly congested and not very complementary since the start of the season. The challenge for the Special One will be to channel the enthusiasm of his attacker while managing the playing time of his galactic armada. Between the caution required by the medical profession, the overwhelming desire of Rodrygo and the management of egos in the Madrid locker room, the reintegration of the Brazilian promises to be one of the major issues of the capital club by this winter. The latest news is that Real Madrid do not intend to sell their winger in January.
