FC Barcelona has decided to take formal action and file a complaint with UEFA against Paris Saint-Germain. Barça's board considers the tifo displayed by the home ultras in the stands at the Parc des Princes before the Champions League match unacceptable.
The tifo depicted a horror character attacking the Barcelona crest with a bloodied chainsaw, accompanied by the slogan 'Parisian-style massacre'.
What has most outraged the Catalan club is that the display had PSG's explicit approval. The rules require all tifos to be reviewed and approved in advance by the host club before being brought into the stadium.
Through this formal complaint, Barça's board is demanding that UEFA impose disciplinary sanctions on the French club.
