Bryan Cristante finally sees the end of the tunnel. “I’m fine, we’re almost there.”
Few words, but enough to raise Roma’s hopes. The Giallorossi midfielder reassured reporters at Trigoria yesterday during the fifteen-minute training session open to the press, hinting that his return to the group is now imminent.
As reported by Il Corriere dello Sport, Cristante underwent another personalized session, still with a large bandage on his right knee.
The good news is that the inflammation is no longer causing pain. Before the final training session, the player also spoke with Gian Piero Gasperini.
Cristante’s return could come as early as the match against Napoli. Gasperini himself, in the pre-match press conference, hinted at the possibility: “We hope he can play in Naples, or at least be available.”
The midfielder will therefore also miss tonight’s match against Slovan Bratislava, after already missing the matches against Como, Real Madrid, and Genoa. However, his condition is improving, and the Giallorossi staff hopes to have him available for the next league match.
