Serie A is back! Torino and Monza kick off matchday eight tonight at 20:45 at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino. Ignazio Abate's Torino, coming off wins over Udinese and Parma, are chasing a third straight victory to maintain their fine form.

They face a Monza side led by former Torino coach Ivan Juric, buoyed by their 4-0 thrashing of Cagliari and spearheaded by Gustavo Varela, who already has six league goals. Monza also knocked Torino out of the Coppa Italia in September.

Seven points from their last three games for Torino, six for Monza: two confident teams meet in a matchday opener that promises plenty of entertainment, with valuable points at stake, particularly in the battle for survival.
