Amar Dedic and Sean Steur Must Be Scratching Their Heads at Newcastle

Amar Dedic and Sean Steur must be scratching their heads at Matthias Jaissle's lineup choices amid Newcastle's Premier League struggles.
Newcastle duo Amar Dedic and Sean Steur must be scratching their heads at some of the decisions made by Matthias Jaissle at the moment.
The Magpies are struggling in the Premier League at the moment, as they sit in 11th position. Perhaps fortunate to even be as high as that.
The last two games have been a real concern, losing 4-1 away at Coventry City before being defeated 1-0 at home by Aston Villa.
Boo's rang around St James's Park following the defeat to Villa, with Newcastle barely laying a glove on Unai Emery's side.
The North East club had 16 shots, with only one of those being on target, as they succumbed to a 1-0 defeat thanks to a Johan Manzambi goal.
Some of the decisions made by manager Jaissle will be a concern not only for the supporters but for some of the players too.
Amar Dedic was brought to the club in the summer transfer window as a right-back option for the Magpies, but Jaissle is currently playing young midfielder Lewis Miley ahead of him at right-back.
The Bosnian right-back enjoyed an impressive start to life at Newcastle, but he's failed to start the last two games for the club.
Newcastle's results were a lot more consistent when he was in the side earlier in the campaign, but one poor performance against Leeds has led to him being dropped from the team.
Young midfielder Sean Steur must also be scratching his head. He started in their win against Hull, only to be given zero minutes across the last two games.
Jaissle opted for the more experienced Joelinton against Aston Villa, but he's clearly not up to full fitness.
It's not working for Jaissle at the moment, and the results were more impressive when he gave the youngsters more opportunities.
Newcastle invested a lot of money in bringing these players to the club, but the manager is constantly jumping and changing and failing to give them runs in the side.
Matthias Jaissle needs reliability in midfield and Brazilian star Joelinton is not currently up to scratch for the Magpies.
It's clear to see that the constant dropping and changing is a sign of panic for Jaissle as he looks to find the right formula.
Even Newcastle's recent win against Hull was perhaps fortunate, with the newly promoted side unfortunate not to score more.
The recent results have simply not been good enough, and now the manager is turning to experience rather than new signings to try and bail them out.
Against Aston Villa, Newcastle had four new signings on the bench, with only three in the starting eleven.
That either shows that Jaissle needs to show more faith in his new additions, or the recruitment simply hasn't been good enough.
Either way, the Newcastle boss needs to turn things around, starting with Crystal Palace next week.
