[music] standing for church. Good. So, Korea Republic against Kotvoir then. Two teams who have performed well here, but results just haven't gone their way. Ivory Coast beaten 2-1 by Spain in their opener, a 1-1 draw with Canada, resulted in a penalty shootout loss, and then they were beaten by Brazil. Let's take a look at the Career Republic team then, which shows nine changes to the team beaten 2-1 by England. The only players to keep their places in the starting 11. The captain at center back, Kang Mu. And in midfield, Hansung Min also keeps his spot in the team. It has been a competition though about mix and match. Remember, because every player in every squad has to play at least 90 minutes. Hussein Sanley, Swiss official, is in charge of this one. Career Republic who drew 2-2 with Egypt in their opening game, lost on penalties before defeats to Colombia and England. As we look at the Kavoir team, seven changes for them. Gibbro Kater, one of them who comes in in goal. Leo Nore remains at center back in midfield. Abdul Dumbia and Junior Andre keep their places in the team and the captain at center forward Uber Yao who scored in the 2-1 loss against Brazil is at center forward for co Divoir. So the seventh place match then an opportunity for two sides yet to taste victory in this competition to do so career have [snorts] played well they led against Egypt they led against Colombia just couldn't hold those leads into the halftime breaks and it proved so costly the two captains in the center Yao the center forward for Kavoiris and the center back Kang Musung of Korea Republic building towards the under 17 World Cup in Kata in November. The majority of this Korean Republic side made up of what will potentially be their squad out there. Lovely conditions on the shores of Lake Geneva. 17° centigrade. Perfect conditions for the fourth game in what has been an intense period for these under 18 teams. But nine substitutions helps with the workload a bit and the fact that the uh the coaches, as I was saying, are forced to mix and match. K Devoir as well, one of the teams through to the under 17 World Cup in Kata and it will be the Junior Elephants to get us underway. Will it No, it's going to be Career Republic to kick off. Looked as though Kat Devoir were going to kick off to start with. career in the traditional red coat of the changed all white and so the seventh place match is underway. Dear Bat with the header away. Early throw for Career Republic. Kept the ball well. They've scored some cracking goals but lost on penalties to Egypt, beaten by Colombia and England. Kat Devoir suffered a penalty shootout loss as well in their second game after a 1-1 draw with Canada. Here's Glout into the penalty area. The flag has gone up though >> against the the captain Uber Yao. And a free kick for Korea Republic. >> Muno with it. The goalkeeper is Gilman Choy. Free kick from Dumbia. So sends it forwards. Hson men getting a foot in though for Korea Republic. Ted Yun has gone storming down the right side here into Namlan. Here's Cece. Mubert Yao pills away in the center >> and that's blocked away by Hangung. Korean Republic will face Uganda, New Calonia and Ecuador in November in the under 17 World Cup. Kat Devoir in with Italy, Jamaica and Usbekistan. Header away by Park. Kang Musung clears the lines this time for Career Republic. It's back with Yao. Here's Yao again looking to take on his man. Poor touch though and it's a goal kick for Korea Republic but a good spell of pressure from Kotivo Hung did well keeping his cool under pressure and releasing Kim Jong- Han. Here's Puho. Sumor did well. Foot in again by Hansumin. A strong challenge from Limji Song. Referee happy to play on. Here's Munji Huan at the creative point of the Korean midfield. Kangmus Tune losing out and now Jore back to the goalkeeper Kater goodness me took a bit of a chance there didn't he cleared away by a no-go. You want your goalkeeper to be confident with his feet, but perhaps Gibbro Kater there taking it a tad too far. But no harm done. >> Too much on that though for Namyan to get after. And here's Sonogo. Dio Bagat with the touch back to Kater Sumaro under pressure and he's been dispossessed as well by Park Juo. Just lost his footing for a second there. Kim Jong-un Han stepping in for Career Republic who've got bodies forward here. >> And they flag up in the end for offside. Dev have a player down here in the penalty area. >> It was that incident there. I think it's Senogo who's down. Painful one that when the the full weight of a player falls into you trying to get up against So before uh again hitting the ground Let's hope he's okay. He's been down a while now, but thankfully back on his feet. Gibbrocater over this. So makes his way off. Kat Devoir down to 10 for the moment. He's back down being treated again. [snorts] You wonder if Kvoir may have to make an early change here. career back in possession with Moon out to Park Juo Ted Yun Hanks and Min turning into trouble. Here's Jan Cis. Too many red shirts in the way though and Kangmuang picks this up. launched forward by Munyuna. That's a free kick for K Devoir just as well. Otherwise, Dumbia would have been giving away a foul for hand ball. Simaro touch in from Tido Yun. And here's Hangung Min. Hangung Min again. Ch Yong Min to Kangm. Space on this near side for Ted Yun. carried forward though by the center back and played into Park Yunhong. Here's Park Juuho. The final ball was disappointing from Muji Huan after a decent move from Korea. There's Nore getting that ball up early towards Ubbert Yao. The focal point of the K Devoir attack yet to score in this competition. >> Deagate with a throw. should say he didn't score in his first two games, but Yai grabbed the goal in the 2-1 loss to Brazil last time out. Kang Muang to Tay D Yun. Munchi Juan under pressure from Andre and loses out now. Yao into the center. Set up for the shot for Andre. Clattered it into the Korean defender though. And here's Park Juo switching the play up out to Limji Song. He can't keep it in though. And it's a coat devoir throw. throw for Career Republic. Four players in and around the the penalty area, but didn't make best use of that, did they? It's coke devoir throw now. Dear bagat with a throw now. Glout had numbers forward there as well. Three of them in the penalty area. Kat Devoir. They have a throw instead. Cleared away by Munji. Back into the danger zone. Yeah, with the flick on. What a good flick it was. And what a terrific opening goal for Kat Divois. Tucked away into the corner with Conate ease. Uber Yao playing his part though with the little flick on and there was Yan Cece to open the scoring after 12 minutes for K Divoir. But it's this little flick here as the ball comes back in from Ubbert Yao, the center forward. Look at that. >> Lovely little touch on the backhill volley if you like. And Yan Cis call as you like. Didn't even need to take a touch. Just curled it first time past Muno. >> And it's Korea Republic nil. Kat Devoir won. >> First attempt on target from either side. And it's the opening goal of the game. Kang Musang Koir have been champions of Africa at this age group. Well actually under 17th just the once in 2013. finished third at the 2025 under 17 Africa Cup of Nations, but surprisingly hadn't qualified for the previous three tournaments. Best performance at at world level at this age group was a third place finish way back in 1987 at the under 17 World Cup, a quarterfinal in 2013. It's a nation that has produced some wonderful talent of course over the years. Well, they have a problem at the other end. Oh, but yeah, I think it is the the center forward is down. So, seems to be okay and back up and on the field again. We're hoping that Yao's okay though. Goal against Brazil last time out. The assist for the opening goal here for Yan Cis. The second Ivoria now who's uh needed prolonged attention in the opening 15 minutes of the game. back up again. Of course, have to leave the field now. 15 and a half minutes gone. K Devoir a goal up courtesy of Yansis's goal yet to produce an attempt on goal at all. Korea Republic. Now back to Kata. So Dumbia Sumahoro forced back again to Leonore Senoga. That's a risky ball back to Kato, but he dealt with it. Kim Jong-un helps it on to Mujin Huan. Now, both these teams have scored in all their games. Four goals in three games for career in the group stage. A goal a game for K Devoir. So they've matched that already in this seventh place match. This structure ensuring that all the teams play four matches here whether they reach the final or finish bottom of the group. Well, that's a heavy touch. Munchi Juan shifts it on to Namyan. Now, that's going to be a Korean corner. That's a good way of getting extra game time in a a tournament structure for a competition that is uh very much all about development. Corner taken short. Was driven across. Punched away by Kater. Headed back into the danger zone again. Kang Musung is still up there. The Korean captain. [snorts] K Devoir looking to break away while they were short of numbers at the back, but that's out of play and it's a throw for Core Republic. Here's Glout now. Yao, he's back on and seems to be okay thankfully. Good feed again by Yao. >> Still he has it. Three or four Korean players around it, but he kept hold of the ball and kept possession for Kat Devois. Given away by Nore this time though. And then Park Juo is fouled by Simoro. T Yun back to Kang Tun. Short throw from Sumahoro. Good turn from Cece. The goal scorer fizzed it into Ubbert Yao. Ball just didn't stick with him this time, which it has done mostly for the opening 20 minutes of this game. Muni Juan Limshi Song as he worked the space to get the cross in. He was just overstretching and the ball out of play on that far side deate. Now Dumbia switched into Nahore. Simoro Cece Sumor went on the overlap, but the return pass wasn't really on. It was well blocked by Tedo Yun. The Koreans have earned themselves a free kick. It's gone the other way actually. Free kick to Ko Davois Simoro with it. Now so would peeled off. Flag up again for offside. Namyang keeps getting caught. Just needs to check and hold his run slightly longer. Abdul Dumbia is over this lore. Sumor Tun keeping pressure on the Ivorian left back who's done well to get the cross in. Still got plenty forward here. Kivoir. And now they have a throw. Deagette with the ball back to Kater Nore. Sumor injecting a bit of pace into the passing coat. Devoir, but in the end forced back to Gibbro. Senogga Yao was on his heels. Cho Yong Min reacted quicker and got his head to the ball. Park Juu Ho T Yun Kang Musang touch off from Parkun Hun. And this is what they do. Well, Kat Devoir, they break very quickly when they find the spaces. Hubert Yao such a a focal point as well to play into and play off. >> Sumuro Here's Andre. Now Dumbia and again to the goal scorer Yan Cisce who's already on the books at Athletic Club Deil Bao in Spain. Coffee >> Sumuro. >> Yeah, just left a little bit in there on Kang Muang. It's a free kick to Korea Republic. But again, good overlapping, good energy from Czech Sumor. plays for La Hav's under 19s. Check Sumaro. No way through there for Namyan. On again by Park Juo. Cleared away by Senogo. Is a risky clearance though and career have a chance. And it's just past the post. Kavoir very nearly causing their own downfall there. Just didn't get the ball away in the end and it fell to Munji Juan and he was unable to hit the target. Probably the clearest chance of the game so far for Korea Republic. Abdelia Senogo perhaps just a little bit too casual there. Here's Munji again. Had to hit the target. That was the disappointment I think with that chance. There's Dumbia. Fed out to SuLa who's just swapped wings for the moment with Yan Cisce the goal scorer. Andre, that was a a little tempting cross. Too far away from Yao to make something of it, though. Ted Yun held up well by Namyan. He's being fouled though by Leo Nore center back who's uh been picked up by Paris Sanjiman. part of their youth setup. That is a club where you will get your chance as a youth player. Despite the wealth of riches that they have, same with most French teams really. Sides in France a terrific place to learn your trade for young players. Several in this squad are with French clubs. Sumahoro as I was saying with Laav they have Benotar at Stad Ram Gibblater at Paris FC Muno. It's a risky pass that one and it's been picked off by Dumbia. Tedo Yun. That's really positive play from the right back. It's a terrific run now. Does he have an end product? Tedo Yun still going. Just took it on a tad too far. I think >> enabled Leo Neore to come across and put the ball out of play. But it was a terrific run. Really positive from Ted Yun. Namyan and the effort in the end from Munji. >> Comfortable save though for Gibbrel Katera. header on by Tay Do Yun. The referee may have spotted a high boot in there. It's a free kick for Career Republic. Just over quarter of an hour to Halime. Kot Devoir leading by a goal to nil courtesy of Yansis's goal on 12 minutes. Really wellcraftrafted goal. The little backhill flick from Uber Yao setting him free. Here's a chance though for career at the other end. And that's a good save from Kater looking to follow it in. Kavoir finally get it away. Could spell this for career republic. First time that Kvoir really looks stretched defensively. It's Kang Muang Cece. Now Glow coffee inside him and the last touch was off Glow. It's a throw for Korea. >> Tun. Swing and a miss at the head in the midfield from Hangung Min. >> Dumb with the foot in. Back to Senogo Sumor. Now Nahore Song. He's backing up Kang. They could be in here. Oh, that's a good challenge. Good piece of defending from Hansung Men getting back to help out his defenders. Glow. Nice little shift of his body weight there. Flag up for offside. Here's Kang Musung the Korean captain men. Touch off to Ted Yun. now switched out towards Limji Sonk. It's a good ball as well. Didn't get there though. Goal kick for K Devoir. so making a change in goal. >> Pierre Conan coming on. This is all about the minutes that they've played, I'd imagine. Remember, every player has to uh play 90 minutes. So, Pier Conan on for Gibbrel Kater. Just over half an hour gone. Hung men keeping the ball better now. Korea Republic. It's that product that has often been lacking in this competition. And again, the flag up against Namyan who just cannot seem to stay on side. 11 minutes to the break. Perrick Conan, the new Kodvoir goalkeeper, will deliver the free kick. Too high for Uber Yao. Sent on by Dumbia. Parkin helps it on. launched by Conan. He headed by Tedo Yun. Park Juo with the the touch off. [snorts] Hefty collision there. The uh the foul going against Park Juo. Andre back on his feet again. >> Kvoir back with the ball. No back again to Conan. >> Lim Ji Song just holding his run again. The ball didn't come. Not a great deal has come down that far side for Korea Republic. They've tended to do most of their attacking on this near side with Toad Yun and Park Juo not getting an awful lot of joy. Kavoir have closed the gaps in the central areas making it difficult for Namyan and Munji. Koreans don't have the out ball that K Devoir do with Uber Yao. Here he is. The center forwards. Whistle's gone again. It's been a bit stop start at times. Few niggly fouls from both teams. There's no horsumor glow. That's a bit weward. Nam Yan getting the foot in. The last touch was off the Korean though. It's a K Devoir throw. Simaro with it. Touch back from Andre. There's coffee. Simaro with the throw. Looking for options. Coffee came short and then went long again. The head on from Cece. He and Glow have switched wings again. Cece back on this left side for Kat Devoir. Glow back out on the right. Kim Jongun Han and here's Glow now for K Devoir. Slides it through the middle. Opportunity for a second. It's a good save from Muno and then it's just past the post. >> Well, that was a big opening potentially there for Kot Devoir. Su Glau suddenly with the ball and pace and the Korean defenders struggle to deal with it. He and Cece though unable to double the lead for the African side. It's Nore Kim Jong- Han. Here's Munji Juan Dumbia looking to swipe the ball up towards coffee. Yeah, it's a good challenge. Well timed challenge from Yansis Tun Munji. He was always going to be on the stretch there. difficult to get any purchase on the cross. K Devoir clear it away. 5 minutes to Halime. Still leading by that Yansis goal on 12 minutes. K Devoir heading for seventh position. Teddo Yun [bell] flag out for a foul. It's a free kick to uh K Devois. Will be a presentation by the way after each one of these playoffs. So, it really does give these young players a taste of absolutely everything that you may experience at a tournament. Penalty shootouts in group matches as well. So there's more opportunity for them to face penalties which of course is a key part of the modern game at senior level now at major tournaments major competitions for that. There's clout. Kimyong has throw chong now. Kangmus T Yun again. The Koreans target this near side but to no avail. Here's Dumbia. So chrom across doesn't have too much help though. Career did well to get themselves out of a tight corner there. They have a free kick and the uh the yellow card is out himself into a tight situation there. Troy John Min, but did well to play himself out of it. Wasn't the best of challenges that either. right in front of the referee and Junior Andre gets himself the first yellow card of the game. Tedo Yun Sumaro with the throw for Kavois. Nobody coming short for him. That's a good block by Park Juo. And now Namyan. >> Blocked away by Senogo. Still it's not away. Oh, he was aiming for the far corner. Park Juho just didn't get the bend on the ball. But it was a decent chance for Career Republic. Try and level the game before Halime. Here's clout career with the numbers in that midfield battle. They again win the free kick. to Yong Minhun. Now Ted Yun not the best ball to Munchi Juan. Pass always defended favor the defender. Dear Bagat on towards Glout now Limji Song again he's overrun it straight into Abdul Dumbir who's winning everything in those midfield areas. Really strong challenge again from Dumbir. Park Juo. >> It's cleared away by Senogo. Well, they've got two on the goalkeeper here. That's a good save from Muno. [cheering] >> Well, perhaps should have been squared to Herbert Yao. Would have had a tap in. Kang. Couple of minutes still left for Korea Republic to get themselves level before the break. is Munji Juan Tunji Song in towards Namyan >> hasn't had much change at all out of the K Devoir defenders Namyan he's struggled a bit the service hasn't been great to him in fairness but keeps getting himself caught offside which doesn't really help the course. >> Tedo Yun >> towards Munji Huan. Clipped in by Kim Jong-un Han and gathered by Conan. >> Troy Gil Mint show good composure there just to chest the ball down and then feed it out wide. But >> again, it's run out of play. It's a K Devoir throw. We're into the final minute of the three to be added on. Couple of stoppages for Abdel Senogo and Ubbert Yao to receive treatment for Kat Devoir. Both of those in the opening quarter of an hour of the game. Here's Janis whose goal separates the sides. Conan to Leo. >> Foot in by Ted Yun. Here's Cece surrounded by red shirts. Well, yeah. Left it cuz he knew he would have been offside. Sumor the surging run forward did well to catch up with the ball and he still has it. The left back. And that is the final action of a first half in which Korea Republic have had plenty of the ball. Kavoir have had a couple of big chances. Munji Huang perhaps with the best of them for the Koreans. But it is a goal from Yan Cisi on 12 minutes th
