Footballers are some of the highest paid athletes in the world. But who's the highest earner at each age? In today's video, we're going to be finding out. We recently did a Premier League version of this video, but now we'll be opening it up to the entire world. So, without any further ado, here's the highest paid footballer at every single age from across world football. Starting at age 16, it is Arsenal's Max Dalman. Now, technically, he is still on a scholarship deal with the Gunners, as he's not allowed to sign a professional contract until he turns 17, but the terms of that deal have already been agreed, which will see Dalman earn 35,000 per week once he turns 17 later this year. Earning that sort of money as a teenager, I mean, it's absolutely bonkers, isn't it? The highest paid 17-year-old in world football is Berisha Munch and Gladback youngster Whale Moyer. Reportedly taking home a weekly wage of just shy of 28 grand a week. The youngster signed his first professional deal with the club last year and is already earning quite a handsome amount. He is really highly rated though and someone who barisha Munchin Gladback have really high hopes for for the future. The highest paid 18-year-old in world football is Juventus winger Karim Allaj Begovic who's taken home a reported weekly wage of 91,000 per week in Italy. The 18-year-old winger was signed by Juventus this summer from Red Bull Salsburg in a deal worth a reported €30 million. He's already a fullyfledged international for Bosnia and Herzgavina too and someone who Juve clearly have very high hopes for. It's a big jump up to Laminal, who's the highest paid 19year-old in world football, currently taking home a reported £342,000 per week. That's an annual salary of just shy of £18 million for someone who's not even turned 20 yet. This salary already means that Yamal is the fourth highest paid player in La Liga, only behind Rodri Venicius Jr. and Kian Mbappe and also makes him by far and away the highest paid teenager not just in world football right now but the world has ever seen. The highest paid 20-year-old were taking quite a jump down from Lamin's salary but it's still a ridiculous figure that PSG midfielder Warren Zia Emory is earning currently on a contract worth £188,000 per week. already a full-fledged international. He's someone who came up through the PSG academy and has really grown into that side in recent years and is continuing to develop well now under Lewis Enrique. The highest paid 21-year-old in world football is Juventus star Ken and Yildis who signed a new deal with Juve earlier in the year and seems to have landed himself a pretty healthy salary increase. Now reportedly on a deal worth £182,000 per week in Italy. The highest paid 22-year-old in world football is Barcelona midfielder Gabi, who's currently on a contract worth £154,000 per week in Spain. His most recent contract extension came in 2025, and his current deal with Barcelona is still valid until the summer of 2030. At age 23, we're sticking in Spain, but going over to Real Madrid. Jude Bellingham is the highest paid player in world football in his age bracket, taking home £342,000 per week. Now, his current deal with Madrid is still valid until 2029, but there have been some rumblings that a new contract offer could be in the pipeline for the England international, which could see his salary boosted in line to what the likes of Kian Mbappe and Venicius Junior are also earning. Maybe somewhat of a surprise, but Nico Williams is the highest earning 24y old in world football, playing for Athletic Club. During the summer of 2025, there was plenty of speculation over his long-term future and heavy links to Barcelona, but in the end, he committed his future to the club and signed a 10-year contract, which is valid until the summer of 2035. And given he's being paid just shy of 300 grand a week, you can absolutely see why he took that deal. If he stays at Athletic Club for the remainder of that contract, he's due to be paid over 130 million pounds by the club between now and the deal expiring in 2035. Absolutely unbelievable. Wow. Following his contract extension, which he signed earlier this year, Mao Saka is the highest paid 25year-old in world football on a current deal with Arsenal worth £300,000 per week. Surprisingly, Saka is only the second Premier League player to feature on this list, but we've still got a few more to come, don't worry. Speaking of that Premier League representation, Erling Harland is the highest paid 26-year-old in world football on his current deal with Manchester City. He's taken home £525,000 per week. And that's before any bonuses are paid on top of that. And given the rate he's currently scoring at at Manchester City, he's probably getting himself a goal bonus every single week. Hartland's current deal with City is due to run until the summer of 2034. So, good luck to any clubs trying to poach him away from there. The highest paid 27year-old in world football is Real Madrid's Killian Mbappe. Currently earning slightly less than Erling Harland in terms of his basic salary, which is a reported £513,000 per week. Still an absolutely ridiculous figure. Although it's worth taking into consideration this current salary that Mbappy is earning at Real Madrid doesn't take into consideration the mammoth signing on bonus that he was also given when he moved from PSG on a free transfer. The highest paid 28-year-old in world football. This is probably going to come as a surprise but it's Arsenal's Kai Havt on a reported £280,000 per week at the Emirates. In recent weeks, I think Miklatteta has definitely shown his preference to Havitz over Victor Yarez in that number nine role for the Gunners. Although Hav still gets those question marks over his head and whether or not Arsenal still need an upgrade in that department, but he's certainly being paid the big books by the Gunners right now. At age 29, Ruben Neves is the highest earner in this bracket and he's the first Saudi representative that we've got in this video playing in the Saudi Pro League for Al Hilal. He's on a weekly wage of £313,000. And obviously the big caveat that comes along with these players currently playing in Saudi Arabia is all of that money is tax-free opposed to all those other players who are playing in Europe where about 50% of their wages will be gobbled up by tax. That's not the case for those playing in Saudi. So you can definitely see why a lot of them attempted to make that move. Neves has committed his long-term future to remaining in Saudi Arabia, too, signing a contract extension earlier in the year, which is valid now. until the summer of 2029. The highest paid 30-year-old in world football is Rodri, who recently made the move to Barcelona, and it was quite a lucrative one for the Spanish midfielder, as he's now reportedly on a deal worth £444,000 per week in Spain. That's almost double the salary that he was reportedly earning at Manchester City previously. What's maybe even more crazy than that is the second highest earning 30-year-old in world football is Ivan Tony who's also earning over 400 grand a week playing in Saudi Arabia but not quite as much as Rodri at age 31 we are heading back to Saudi Arabia though because it's Serge Milinkovic Savage is the highest paid player in this age bracket playing for Al-Hilal he's taken home a weekly wage of £418,000 that's a yearly salary of over2 million and It's all taxfree. The highest paid 32-year-old in world football is Bernardo Silva. Fresh after making the move from Manchester City to Real Madrid on a free transfer, he's been given a pretty healthy contract in the Spanish capital. Reportedly now earning £263,000 per week. It's often the case when players do move on a free transfer from one club to another. The new club that they're signing for tend to give them a bit of a bump in wages because they've not had to shell out for a transfer fee. And Bernardo Silva's definitely feeling the benefit of that right now. At age 33, there's no real competition here. It's Harry Kane as the highest paid player in his age bracket playing for the German champions Bayern Munich. He's earning £410,000 per week currently in the Bundesliga. Of course, that's his basic salary without any goal bonuses, which will be added on top of that, which he's probably earning on a pretty regular basis as well. This next salary though will blow your mind because Sadadio Mané is by far the highest paid 34 year old in world football playing for Al-Nasar in Saudi Arabia. He's on a reported weekly wage of 654,000. Playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, that's a yearly salary of over 34 million. It makes him currently the second highest paid player in Saudi Arabia, only behind CR7, who we'll get to later. By this point in the video, you're probably noticing a bit of a trend because the highest paid 35year-old in world football is Kaledo Koulibali, also playing in Saudi Arabia, also earning himself an absolute fortune. On his current deal with Al Halal, he's earning a reported £569,000 per week, the equivalent of just shy of30 million per year. The highest paid 36-year-old in world football is Benjamin Andre with the Le captain currently taking home a reported £74,000 per week playing in France. Inter Milan midfielder Henrik Mkhitaryan is the highest paid 37year-old in world football. He signed a new contract extension with Inter earlier this summer which is worth a reported £42,000 per week. That is a salary cut of what he was earning on his previous contract with Inter which was previously worth around £80,000 per week. But age 37, you can't grumble at earning that amount. The highest earning 38-year-old in world football is another former Manchester United midfielder. It's the Manu Matic. Now playing for Sasawolo in Italy. He's taking home a decent 60 grand a week. At age 39, of course, it's Lionel Messi as the highest paid player in this age bracket. Playing for Inter Miami. He's taking home a weekly wage of £356,000 per week. Obviously, that's before you take into consideration any of the bonuses or sponsorship endorsements that he's earning on top of that figure. Earning that much, he's of course the highest paid player in MLS and by quite some distance. For the highest paid 40-year-old in world football, we're going back to Europe. It's Luca Modric at AC Milan who recently signed a new contract extension with the Italian club which is worth a reported £16,000 per week. figure which is nowhere near the amount he was previously earning at Real Madrid, but at this point of his career, that's a massive amount he's still earning. But we'll finish today's video off with the highest paid 41-year-old in world football. And of course, it's Cristiano Ronaldo. Not just the highest paid player in his own age bracket, but outright still the highest paid footballer playing in the world today, earning a ridiculous 3.4 million pounds per week at Al-Nasar. That's just shy of £180 million per year. And that's just his basic salary without any of the bonuses, endorsements, or any of the extra topups that he's going to have on top of that basic wage. And of course, because he's playing in Saudi Arabia, it's all taxfree as well. Ronaldo's current deal in Saudi Arabia does expire at the end of this season, but it remains to be seen whether or not he'll commit to a new deal. Earning that sort of money, he's got to fancy a few more years surely. Well, there you guys have it. That will not wrap it up for today's video. Thank you very much for tuning in.
