Premier League footballers are some of the highest-paid athletes in the world. And in today's video, we're going to be taking a look at the highest-paid Premier League footballer at every single age from 16 right up to 40. Starting at age 16, and it's Max Dowman. Now, technically, he's still on a scholarship deal with Arsenal as he's not able to sign a professional deal with the club until he turns 17 later in the year. So, on his current contract, he's only earning about £350 per week, but even as a 16-year-old, that's not too shabby. However, he's already pre-agreed a professional contract with Arsenal, and once he does turn 17 in December, he'll automatically start earning 35 grand a week, which is quite the bump up for the teenager. Aston Villa's Brian Madjo is the highest-paid 17-year-old in the Premier League, reportedly on a deal at Villa Park, which is worth around about 7 and 1/2 thousand pounds per week. Although, if he continues to develop at his current rate, he's definitely going to have some big pay rises coming in the near future. The highest-paid 18-year-old in the Premier League is Liverpool's Rio and Gamoa, taking home 25 grand a week. That works out at about 1.3 million pounds per year for the teenager. However, according to the latest reports as of recording, a deal in principle has been agreed between Gamoa's agents and Liverpool over a new deal with the club, which will almost certainly see him getting a nice pay rise as a result. Estevao at Chelsea is the highest-paid 19-year-old in the league, taking home 60 grand a week at Stamford Bridge. The crazy thing about this as well is he's still got 7 years to run on that contract with Chelsea. So, he's still due to be paid over 21 million pounds by Chelsea over the course of that contract, and that's without any bonuses on top, and if we assume he's not given a pay rise over the next 7 years, which he's probably going to be given. And sticking with the theme of Chelsea, Jerelle Hato is the highest-paid 20-year-old in the league, earning 120 grand at Stamford Bridge, which is slightly more than Lenny Yoro is getting at Manchester United, who's the second highest earning 20-year-old. Like many Chelsea players, Hato's got a long contract to run with his current deal valid until the summer of 2032. That means he's due to be paid over 37 million pounds by Chelsea between now and his contract running out. The highest paid 21-year-old in the Premier League is currently a two-way tie between Chelsea's Marco Pelestra and Manchester United's Kobbie Mainoo, with both players earning 150 grand a week. That works out at just shy of 8 million pounds per year. Absolutely obscene money we're talking about here. Savio completed his move to Tottenham this summer and thus became the highest paid 22-year-old playing in the Premier League, with the Brazilian now taking home a reported 130 grand a week in North London. A nice little pay packet there for the Brazilian winger. It's quite the jump up at age 23 though, because we've got Elliot Anderson, now with his new contract at Manchester City, taking home 250,000 pounds per week. That's a serious pay increase from what he was being paid previously at Nottingham Forest. And obviously, City were always going to hand him a massive contract after paying over 100 million pounds to buy him this summer. Per year, that works out at 13 million pounds and means he's currently earning more than the likes of Benjamin Sesko, Florian Wirtz, who are the same age as him. The highest paid 24-year-old in the Premier League, unsurprisingly, is Bukayo Saka. He's Arsenal's main guy and that's reflected in his contract, currently earning 300,000 pounds per week to play at the Emirates. He's still [snorts] got four years remaining on this current deal, so between now and the contract running out, he's due to be paid over 62 million pounds by Arsenal. Sticking with the theme of Arsenal, William Saliba is the joint highest earning 25-year-old in the league along with Liverpool's Dominik Szoboszlai with both players taking home 250 grand a week for their contributions at their club. Szoboszlai recently extended his deal with Liverpool earlier this summer and so has another five years to run on his deal at Anfield. Saliba has still got four years to run on his contract with Arsenal. So, both players are very well protected in the long term there. At age 26, it's Erling Haaland who blows everyone else out of the water. Not just in his own age bracket, but everyone else in the Premier League. He's by far the highest earner in England currently taking home 525,000 pounds per week and that's just his basic fixed salary. That's without any goal bonuses added on top. Per year in terms of his fixed salary, Haaland is taking home over 27 million, although that could be doubled with goal bonuses added on and everything on top. He's still got eight years to run on his current deal with Man City as well. So, with everything taken into consideration, he's due to be paid over 218 million pounds by City over the duration of this contract. This one may come as a somewhat surprise, but Kai Havertz is the highest earning 27-year-old in the Premier League. With Arsenal currently, he's earning 280 grand per week, which is higher than the likes of Gianluigi Donnarumma at Manchester City. Both his fellow teammates Declan Rice and Martin Ødegaard. It's more than Casemiro at Man United, more than Gakpo at Liverpool. Havertz has done pretty well for himself off that deal. At age 28, now he's back at Manchester United, Marcus Rashford is the highest paid player in the Premier League at this age bracket earning 300,000 pounds per week at United. Obviously, the Red Devils managed to save quite a bit on his wages last season whilst he spent it out on loan with Barcelona, but he's been given a second chance this season by Michael Carrick, but he's still going to have to do quite a bit this season to justify that ridiculous wage. And he's still got a couple years to run on that contract with United, which is worth so much to him. At age 29, it's Manchester City's Ruben Dias, a very experienced Premier League operator at this stage of his career. He's taking home a handsome pay packet of 250,000 pounds per week. Per year, that means he's earning a fixed salary of 13 million pounds. Jack Grealish is the highest-paid 30-year-old in the Premier League and still has 1 year remaining on his contract with Manchester City, which he'll be spending out on loan with Everton. With the two Premier League clubs sharing his 300,000 pounds per week wages. Being paid so handsomely by Manchester City, Grealish was always going to be reluctant to leave the club on a permanent basis this summer. But a loan deal back to Everton is probably the best for all parties right now. No real surprises at the age of 31, of course it's Bruno Fernandes as the highest-paid player at this age bracket, also taking home 300,000 pounds per week. That's obviously an absolutely massive contract by Bruno Fernandes, but it's absolutely dwarfed by the offers that he's had recently from Saudi Arabia with several clubs prepared to pay him in the region of 700,000 pounds per week if he were to move to the Middle East. But Bruno is still very much committed to Manchester United, albeit he is now in the last year of his contract. Everton's Jordan Pickford is the joint highest-earning 32-year-old in the Premier League along with Manchester City's Mateo Kovacic, with both players taking home 150 grand a week on their current deals at their respective clubs. Maybe somewhat of a surprise, but Manchester United's Harry Maguire is the highest-earning 33-year-old in the Premier League and is believed to be earning more than Liverpool's Alisson. At Manchester United, Maguire's current deal is said to be worth 170 grand a week, which is 20 grand a week more than Alisson is getting at Anfield. Bernd Leno is now into the final year of his contract with Fulham, but remains the highest-paid 34-year-old in the Premier League as things stand. He's got a weekly wage of 130 grand a week, which puts him slightly ahead of the others in his age bracket, the likes of Chris Wood and Lewis Dunk, who are earning just below that figure. We're taking a big wage hike up next though to age 35, and that's Virgil van Dijk, still earning a massive amount at Anfield. 350 grand is what the Dutch defender is currently getting. But, obviously, the main caveat here is van Dijk is now into the final year of his contract with Liverpool. So, whether he remains beyond the end of this season remains to be seen. Van Dijk at age 35 to Jason Steele at age 36, it's a massive drop-off at this stage, with Steele being the highest-paid 36-year-old taking home just 20 grand a week at Brighton. I say just 20 grand a week, obviously, that's absolutely obscene money for the vast majority of us, especially for Steele, who's been paid to sit on the bench at Brighton. That role as a backup goalkeeper, when you are in the tail end of your career, but still playing for a Premier League club, has got to be one of the greatest jobs in world football. You're paid to, let's face it, sit on the bench and train. Jason Steele there is living the good life. We're starting to get into familiar territory now with these experienced goalkeepers. David Button is the highest-paid 37-year-old in the Premier League. The Ipswich backup goalkeeper, believed to be earning 10 grand a week, which isn't too shabby given his role in the squad. Fraser Forster continues the backup goalkeeper trend at this part of the video. He's the highest-paid 38-year-old in the Premier League, reportedly earning 40 grand a week, although I've got to question that figure. Surely Bournemouth haven't given him that much to be a backup option. He initially signed for the club back in January on a 6-month deal, but then his contract was extended over the summer. If he is earning that money, his agent's played an absolute blinder there. And, as there are no 39-year-olds currently playing in the Premier League, we'll skip straight to age 40, where it's Tom Heaton, the Manchester United backup goalkeeper, believed to be earning a mad 45 grand a week at Old Trafford. Obviously, a very experienced operator between the sticks. Usually, he'll be Manchester United's second or mostly third choice goalkeeper. But, earning over 2 million quid a year for his current role in the United setup, he's absolutely living the dream. Well, there you have it, guys. That will now wrap it up for today's video.
