Kane to Man City, Pogba to wherever and Barcelona in a mess
Friday's F365 Transfer Gossip Thing with Will Ford. Harry Kane could be on his way to Man City for a massive £160m on a £400k per week four-year contract. Tottenham may spend some of that on Atalanta defender Cristian Romero. Manchester United are on the verge of signing Real Madrid's Raphael Varane, if they can meet the £50m valuation. Paul Pogba insists he wants to leave United, with PSG willing to pay no more than £45m. Finally, Barcelona have a huge wage bill that will need to be cut in order to hold onto Lionel Messi. Nine players could be on their way out of the Nou Camp this summer. hello and welcome to the football 365 transfer gossip video thing um i think that's the order of that title uh anyway we've got a bump across it this morning um so without further ado let's get going we start then with harry kane and school gone a bit quiet on the cane front last two months or so but um a big report this morning suggests that daniel levy will allow kane to leave for manchester city for a snip at 160 million um and kane will receive a contract of i think a four-year contract four hundred thousand pounds a week there's some mammoth figures involved um kane's brother who also acted his agent was apparently told of libya's decision um i think last week on friday um and kane told of his joy at his brother's wedding two days later we could only hope that didn't form a major part of the speech um the story is going to continue to run along because what the the story doesn't mention is whether a city have agreed to meet any of those terms so um expect much more on the transfer gossip column around kane and man city in the next few days and indeed another report this morning suggests that man city are looking to offload some players to spurs in part exchange for kane um i think it's the same four players that i mentioned previously so it's gabrielle j zeus raheem sterling bernardo silva riyad mahrez obviously all fantastic players but obviously the big question that no one seems to be asking these cases whether any of those players would want to join spurs which i would say is relatively important in this case as well as possibly needing to find a replacement for kane spurs have been chasing a number of centre-backs this summer one of those names that's been consistently linked is christian romero from atlanta now he can play it both full-back and centre-back something that would be useful particularly nuno system whether he's going to play five of the back we get to see um the question is whether uh 34 million pounds possibly eight million pounds in add-ons um would be enough uh to persuade antlanta to part uh with their centre-back apparently a serial club are also keen on possibly damaging sanchez coming the other way so that could be an option for spurs has never really quite worked out uh for sanchez in north london on to manchester united then and their chase of raphael varane um this is another manchester united transfer saga which seems to be going on and on um apparently there's a framework in place for a five-year deal and varane is very keen to join manchester united according to all sources really um but apparently the two clubs are still 10 million apart in their valuation man united reckon about 40 minutes should be enough uh runway did say 50 million um so probably just to compromise there guys 45 million get the deal done and we can stop talking about it and now on to paul pogba um we should probably make this a regular feature as soon as he's been i think in every gossip video we've done so far so welcome to the pogba zone anyways turned down or reportedly turned down a 350 000 pound a week contract in manchester united presumably because he wants more money um psg remain interested and united would be willing to let him leave rather than allow him to leave for free next summer and they want about 50 million pounds psg apparently won't go higher than 45 million pounds again compromise guys if he wants to leave if united want to sell him 47.5 million get it done lastly we're going to talk about the mess that is barcelona um they need to trim the wage bill significantly um basically to afford keeping lionel messi and there's nine players um that have been linked uh with a move away or put on the on the transfer shortlist i'm gonna have to look at my screen here because there's no way i'm gonna be able to remember all of these so the names mentioned are griezmann coutinho dembele uh brathwaites pianic longley netto emerson and excuse my pronunciation musa not entirely sure if that's correct or not um they're also looking at uh new contracts for pk busquets alba and sergio roberto and they don't want those players to leave but they're offering wage cuts to those players so again it's not clear whether they'll be staying at the new camp next year either what a mess
