hello and welcome to the football 365 transfer gossip column thing uh as termed yesterday in the first video by our editor sarah winterburn as you can see it's me and not her today she's quickly palmed these videos off onto the lowly writers here at football 365. i'm will ford and let's get into it we start today with a man frequently at the top of our transfer gossip column and that man is paul pogba now he's entering the last year of his manchester united contract for about two so they've got about six weeks to try and either time down to a new deal an extension or allow other interest parties to come in and have a conversation about taking them away from old trafford now the club that have been linked this morning are psg of course um and as always when gossip uh comes around where paul pogba meanwhile isn't too far away and uh that man that super agent has apparently been negotiating with psg over a potential 43 million pound deal that figure has been plucked out of thin air because united and psg are yet to hold a conversation um about paul pogba so this one as always with pogba will continue to ramp up if pogba were to leave uh united this summer they need someone to fill his boots and the man being lit this morning is leon goretzka in a similar situation to pogba he's entering the final year of his contract uh of course by munich the slight difference there is that gretzka is keen to sign a new deal his issue is that he wants to be in the higher echelons of the earners at the club and bayern are only willing to offer him about half of those wages um there's a few other clubs linked so i'm just looking across on the screen now real madrid and barcelona are also keen um on goretzka uh who wouldn't be a fantastic midfielder but if united were to go for gretzky their plan would be to wait until next summer and hopefully start him on that free transfer but then of course if pogba leaves and they could be forced um to come in a little bit earlier for him um unless of course they want fred to be the goalscorer midfielder that we all knew and now he can be last but not least in the transfer gossip this morning is arsenal's continued interest in james madison now i also made a 70 million pound bid or reported 17 million pound bid for madison last summer which was turned down by leicester um and that makes it slightly older they think a 50 million pound bid plus a fringe player will be enough to bring leicester to the table quite unquote um now those french players mentioned are uh rhys nelson and also ancient niles who leicester were interested in signing on loan in january before west brom swooped in and persuaded um mr niles to go and play under sam allardyce for the second half of last season very very strange decision there now this again seems like one of what we'll continue to ramble on um arsenal are clearly very keen on james madison it remains to be seen why or if madison is keen on joining arsenal uh he finished lower than leicester in the table last season um but arsenal are linked with all the midfielders one of which consistently named is renato sanchez that could be one could very well be in the gospel columns of mine you
