We can't wait. >> So true. It's like we're seeing into a different world today, though. We've seen the security. Has Speed put his phone down to have a kick around? Is he going to play with it in his hand? Do we think? >> I feel like I've seen him before where he almost wears it on his wrist like a watch. So, I maybe we see that today. I don't know. But we're going to see something. Kelly was a bit concerned about how the uh tempo is going to be today. Mo, you think we're going to see some good football? >> Yeah, I think so. Well, I think look, all these guys, you know, they they they they love the game, right? So, they've got an opportunity now to be on the pitch. I know they've kept up with the tournament, you know, they've been watched, they've been entertained, and now it's their time to put on the show. >> Guess what? So, >> as well, speaking of the show, here is the star of the show, Speed, to come and join us, Speed. >> How are you? >> I'm great. I'm excited. Let's go. >> You feeling good? >> I'm feeling good. >> Okay. You've watched a lot of football. You've just been about everywhere seeing all these World Cup matches in person. Now is your time to play, though. >> It's my time. It's my time. Y'all watch the professional footballers. Y'all watch the World Cup. Now it's time for the Creators Cup World Cup, the FIFA YouTube World Cup. So, we going to put on a show for y'all. It's about to be a fun time. You know, today's all day from the games. So, this is a great time to do this game. So, I'm excited and we going to bring this win in today. I was going to ask you, look, you know, if you've been watching the tournament, we've been living every moment with you and now it's your turn support on the show. And I know you want to make that 2030 World Cup squad. So, what can we expect from you today? >> Y should expect the hat-tick. You guys should expect the hatrick. You guys will get a hat trick from Marshall Speed today. I'm locked in. >> Let's go. I'm ready, man. I'm >> all right. You are captain of your team, team Speed. So, what are you bringing in terms of leadership, in terms of guidance to your to your teammates? >> Exactly. I'm a captain today. So, with being with being a captain, there's responsibilities. I have to make sure even if something bad happens. HEY, COME ON. LET'S GO. We good? Let's go. I got to have that Ronaldo mentality when I'm on a pitch. So, I think my job is just to push the team to victory in a in a leadership way, you know, just make sure everything is great and everything's in um in place. >> What about Seline, though, by the way? Her team looks pretty good, too. You confident? >> Her team is very good, [laughter] actually. Hersh I don't Her team's actually very good. But we got it though. We're going to push through. Um >> we're going to push through. We're going to push through. >> Who's the biggest Ronaldo fan, by the way? Cuz she's a huge Ronaldo fan. You're a huge Ronaldo fan. >> I'm winning that competition right there. I guess this is the competition right now. We going to see after the match. >> The see you first. Yeah, you do the C first. Let's go. >> Thanks, Speed. We'll let you go and uh do your team talk. Good luck. We'll see you soon. >> Okay. >> He's been all over as we mentioned. Let's take a look at some of Speed's best bits this summer, shall we? >> We are here here at the WORLD CUP OPEN. LET'S play [screaming] [music] this. [cheering] [music] Let's [screaming] [music] go. [music] Let's fight. GG. [cheering] God bless the United States. [music] >> Well, Max Bretos and MLS legend Kai Kamar, they're on the call for today, but right now they look like they've got a pretty good view. Hello, boys. >> How you doing? >> Thanks, Poppy. Best seat in the house, Central Park. 840 acres of gathering space. Kai, you have played over two decades. You've been in incredible stadiums. Where does this venue rank? >> This is top max. I mean, I'm here. The weather is amazing. These guys are ready. But to to actually have a place where we can set up a soccer field in the middle of Central Park, I'm jealous I'm not on that field playing with these guys. But they're ready. And I think they're going to showcase their talents that we've been seeing on social media today. >> As Poppy mentioned, a week from today, they will hand out the FIFA World Cup in New Jersey. Today, it's the first ever YouTube FIFA Creator Cup. That means something. They will be able to say, whoever lifts it, that they were the first. >> Trophies. Trophies. Everybody wants to win trophies. And we're really honored to be part of this. It's the first one. So, we're looking at team speeds. We're looking at team Seline. And we want to see who's going to lift up that trophy today. >> It's going to be competitive. And we are ready for all the action. [music] >> It sure is, boys. This is the rules as well. They're pretty simple. It's seven on seven, 25 minute halves. There is a hydration break. And if it's tied, there's three rounds of penalties, rolling subs, [music] but the ball has to be out before you can bring anybody in. Well, this is FIFA, isn't it? It's a huge game. You love playing, Mo. How about this game? By the way, you can build your squad with I show speed uh football legends. You can bring everybody together. Um, you can also play the new free arcade football game. It's free to download at the App Store and on Google Play. The PC and console is launching soon. >> You love it, FIFA. You're [music] a big fan, Mo. You going to be playing this? >> I'm a big fan. And And I'll be honest, look, I be the first time I was on the game, I was I was a little starruck. I can't lie. And Kelly, same for you. >> Very cool to see yourself. Did you pick yourselves? >> I have. [laughter] >> I love it. Okay, so it's the creators against the champions. It's the content against the competition. Let's introduce to you our starting lineup, shall we? Zack and Brian from the Makeshift Project. How's it going on the pitch, boys? >> How we doing, guys? We're down here on the field at the YouTube FIFA Creator Cup. How we feeling, Zach? >> It's a little sweaty. I'm not going to lie. It's definitely hot here, but it's a beautiful day in Central Park. We got a bunch of fans out here. Who's your X Factor today? >> So, we're going to be on the field with Team Speed. My X Factor is I show Speed. You heard him before. He said he's going to drop a hat-tick. I feel like I believe him. That guy's been around the country watching all of the FIFA World Cup games. I think it's his time to shine. Who do you have? >> I'm not sure I'm trusting the hattrick, but but I saw Marlin warming up here before. A couple juggles, couple tricks that I know I can't do. >> The team's looking strong. I feel like our team has the edge. I'm going with team red. >> All right, I don't hate it. Over to Sam and Chrissy from the Muis Squared Podcast. >> What's up everybody? I'm Sam Muis and this is my sister Christy Muis. We are here at the YouTube FIFA Creator Cup. We are so excited to be here. There are some of the biggest, best creators in the world that are going to be playing in this game today. Christy, how are you feeling? >> I think we are feeling very, very excited. We love our outfits. We love the energy this place is giving. The players actually have surprised me in warm-ups. They look really, really good. So, we are so excited for this to finally get started. I know. I think the best part about this tournament for the fans and everybody here that's so excited is that it's 7v7 smallsided. That means there could be lots of goals. Christy, do you have a score prediction for us? I do, and it's actually quite high. I I think there's going to be probably 20 goals and that's of course going to be on our team. >> 20 to zero. Is that your prediction? >> 20 to 10. 20 to >> I'm I'm going 11 to seven. We're super excited for this game and we can't wait to get started. >> 20 goals. >> I hope there's that many. >> That's crazy. But I would love it. That's what it's all about. That's what you want in 77. It's a ton of goals. >> Actually, it' be 27 if it's going to be 20 to7. That means there's going to be a goal every what 3 seconds it feels like. Uh you've seen the teams. How you feeling about the teams? cuz you're going opposite sides today, aren't you? >> Yeah, I'm I'm going team I show speed. You know, he said a hat-tick and they say starters, you mean to go on. I've seen the way they've warmed up. They look ready. He's given, you know, advice to to Zas, the goalkeeper, and so on. But no, it's a brilliant team. I mean, what do you think? >> I'm going team Seline. It's girls versus boys today. We figured that out right ahead of showtime. I've got team Seline. So do the Muis sisters. And I feel very confident because team Seline has some strong footballers, some real footballers on this team. Well, here is a look at the lineups. We're going to see both of the teams as they go headtohead. Interestingly, as well, how's this going to work for Sem? Because two players have got number 21. Is that not going to be a bit confusing? [music] >> No, they'll figure it out. That's their issue. Let them have the numbers they want to have. That's what makes this fun, right? >> Well, look, there's Look, there's some You look at someone like Britney Wilson, you know, she was obviously a former player [music] in the end, Angel City in Orlando proud. And look at someone like Herba as well, Rex Riches. the way he started. We've seen a lot of his, you know, wonderful goals that he he was scoring. We saw all over Tik Tok. And then Marlon, a fun fact [music] about him, him and Slatan Ibrahimovic went to the same high school. So, if anyone learns something from the big suite, it's obviously him. I hope he shows us today. >> All right. Well, listen. Team Seline, we got team we got Selene Depp who's captaining the team of team Seline and we got Freda AI who are both real footballers. They play professional football. So, I feel pretty confident about Team Seline. We got Oo Sinko on there. He's had a couple trials with some pro teams. Yes. From the American football, but but he loves soccer. It was his first love. And then we have Sean Gonier. He is a freestyle world champion. So when he gets on the ball, everybody be watching him. He's going to do some pretty amazing things. I cannot wait. And guess what? We're about ready for kickoff. There's Kafu, by the way. >> What a legend. >> Marco Matasarazzi as well. Got the managers walking in giving high fives. >> So good. Marco Masarasi, by the way. That was about 20 years ago that he won the World Cup with Italy. It's different worlds today, but one game. Here is your commentary team for the match, Max Bravos and Kai Kamar. >> Thank you, Poppy. Thanks, everyone. And uh Kai, I have broadcast well more soccer than I care to mention, but I have never been in a venue like this. Central Park, the most famous gathering spot on the planet, entertainment capital, whether it's sports, whether it's music, and here we are for the YouTube FIFA Creator Cup. >> You know, I have been to many stadiums. I [laughter] have played at the Aka. I've played in England. I've played in Finland. I've played in many places. But I tell you right now, looking at this atmosphere, I am again jealous for not being there. As we see some of the legends walking up to the [music] field, Matarazzi and Kafu, guys that I grew up watching and wish I could be, you know, as good as these guys, but they're definitely opening the field right now for this Creators Cup. Something that's going to be so good right now. So, our referee Pier Luigi Kina, he can cross it off his list. World Cup final, Champions League final, YouTube FIFA Creator Cup as the athletes are about to take the field. >> I show speed. He is here. He is there. He is everywhere. Was in Kansas City last night. He's been in every World Cup venue. I don't know how he's upright. He's a young man and he loves this sport. That thing we know. He has he has attached himself to soccer, football, wherever you're watching. Uh and he has made it even bigger. And this is really the first World Cup where creators and influencers have really lifted it up to another level. >> It is so beautiful to see what Speed is doing. He's going around the world even before the World Cup just traveling around Africa and making sure bringing people together. He's showing that what's this is what soccer and football does. It brings everyone together. I saw him in Kansas City at that game yesterday wearing his Argentinian jersey. I don't know how happy he was because he's always wearing number seven Cristiano Ronaldo, but hey, he said today he's having a hat-tick for his team. I can't wait to witness this >> this kind of game. Tight quarters, smaller goals, but you can really move the ball. What is the secret to get those goals? What will I show speed and others be looking to create those opportunities? These guys needs to be fit. They need to [laughter] be ready. It can't just be the guys on YouTube that we see, which I there's a lot of ballers on this team. Max, what I want to say is what Aish has done for this team. We need to look at the budget. He has a Brazilian starstudded team on this on on this squad. >> Yeah, the the crew from the King squad. And there is Seline Dep Celindo as the back of her shirt will say, she can play used to play at Slay Bruge in her native Belgium. She has broke all types of thresholds with regards to creators from Belgium and really that part of the world. It is hard to pick out who has the advantage with regards to the squad. But the captain sees all due respect to I show speed. She is an elite athlete. Seline certainly has the soccer pedigree on her side. >> Seline is ready. Seline is ready with the big smile [music] for his for her team today. Her team is star studded also. I mean I see Chad oo sinko on that team. >> Who's your pick? Who is your pick? >> Who is my pick? I mean I can't go against the the the maestro of Kafu being the coach and I show speed being out there. That team is really pa is part of that team. But again, Chad Choseno, Seline on the other side. I'm going to stick to the side of speed on this one. >> Yeah, she had to pause on that one, didn't she? >> Do we get 27 goals as Christy and Sam touched on? Are we going to get volume of goals? I get the feeling we might. >> We have had a lot of guys on this on on this team that's talking about goals. They're here to score goals. They're here to to light up the field. Chad's one of those people that that that talks a lot. But we have, you know, Sean Carier who's very [music] famous to these kind of games, smallsided games, the the skillful works that he does have. So I'm really excited. But Marlon, Marlon also is a player to talk about. He's, you know, he's played basketball in college. So we also have to mention that. So when you're on the smallsided field like this, we expect a lot of goals. And these fans are here today to look for goals. Official coin toss Pier Luigi Kolina >> speaking to the captain. This is always important >> especially in a in a quicker game. Again, 25 minutes pass. >> Speeds looks ready. She Speeds has given the game the game look. >> There's your photo opportunity. We are ready for the kickoff. How about this? History will be made. YouTube FIFA Creator Cup. They can always say many years from now who won this, but you can only say who was the first one time in one of these teams. Team speed, team Seline will have the honor of saying that trophies matter. [music] Trophy does matter, Max. These guys want to be the first to write their name in the history books of this place, this venue, this atmosphere where all the fans are sitting out here today so they can remember, say, "Listen, we were the first ones to lift up that trophy at Central Park for the YouTube Creator Cup. The Simon Charity match at Wembley Stadium. Tons of goals in that one. Many of the players here today participated in that. We will see uh if we have something similar. You get the feeling they will. They got to calibrate everything with the time and certainly being on the smaller field here in Central Park where people gather from New York and we've seen it. It's a be summer is here and the downtown of New York where this huge gathering spot in the middle locals, tourists, I mean there are people hanging off the sides here trying to get a peak of what's happening in here. And as I show Speed said earlier as we look at the speed cam, there is no World Cup games. This is only the second day there hasn't been any World Cup action. There will be a game on Tuesday. There will be a game on Wednesday, Saturday, and then Sunday the final about 10 miles from here at the New Jersey Stadium, Metife Stadium, where we will crown the 2026 champion. It won't be a new champion. It will be a repeat champion. Maybe it'll be a back-to-back champion. >> And it's it's really good to have those breaks right now, but everyone that's are definitely ready. >> Marco Matarazzi miked up. See, we can hear something from the coaches. >> Okay. Uh one >> putting the formation together. Important work here. This is beautiful. This is the street way of picking that team and putting the formation together which I really really really love is showing the growth of this game of football. And Sean Carier over there as you can see he's experienced with this this smallsided game is is the type of game. And you can see Speed's doing the same thing on the other side there. Max. 7v7, nine player squads. There are open substitutions as long as the ball isn't rolling. So, expect to see that. There are players here who play a lot. There are players that have played professionally. There are those that are kind of new to the sport, but you got to balance it. And everyone's going to get a sniff out there as we build some legends and a history here for the YouTube FIFA Creator Cup. Wherever you're watching, make sure you subscribe and like the video. Great to be with you live New York City, the big apple. >> Matarati and still giving team talk out there. You know, he's been part of World Cups. He knows how to win.
