In this vlog, Lukas takes you along to all the spectacular FC Bayern x Paulaner events surrounding this year’s Oktoberfest. We kick things off with Konrad Laimer on our way to the traditional Paulaner lederhosen photo shoot at Nockherberg, where you’ll get exclusive behind-the-scenes glimpses straight from the set. Next up is an exciting brewery tour: Together with Sven Ulreich and Paulaner master brewer Christian, you’ll experience firsthand how the famous Oktoberfest beer is brewed—including expert instructions on how to tap a beer keg perfectly. There’s also plenty to do around match days and the start of Oktoberfest. The day before the official kickoff, the team played a home game in special Oktoberfest jerseys, while fans competed in a lively beer mug lifting contest. The start of Oktoberfest itself is celebrated in style: Lukas accompanies Giovanne Élber to the Paulaner Festzelt, followed by the traditional team Oktoberfest celebration in the Käfer Festzelt the next day, as well as a visit with the FC Bayern Legends. To cap it all off, Lukas heads to the Paulaner Festzelt with the FC Bayern Women’s team and they go for a tour of the festival grounds. ► Wanna see more of Musiala, Olise, Kane & Co.? Official FC Bayern Paulaner lederhosen fitting and photo shoot. Men's team Wiesn visit, women's team Wiesn visit, Legends’ Wiesn visit, interviews, behind the scenes. You’ll find all that in this vlog, guys. Check it out and have fun. My name is Lukas and this is the FC Bayern VLOG, Paulaner special edition for the 2026 Wiesn. Let’s go. First stop on our FC Bayern Paulaner Wiesn tour. Guys, it's 11 August, perfect weather in Munich. A stunning day on Säbener Straße and, above all, production day on Säbener Straße. Today, lots of external partners are coming to produce content with the players and the team. A day beforehand, a few lorries arrive here at Säbener Straße, unload all the equipment and set everything up. Every room is taken up with some sort of production project. Let’s have a look inside. Here’s one of our studios on Säbener Straße. Loads of different sets, loads of different partners producing here. Players come here after training and then have their partner slots. A lot of secrecy involved too. That’s why we’re only filming from a distance. Next up: lederhosen photo shoot. Monday, 24 August. Four weeks to go until the Wiesn starts in Munich guys, and today we get the kit for it. Lederhosen photo shoot at the Nockherberg. A long-standing tradition at FC Bayern. A brilliant day, truly Bavarian. Now we’re off to Säbener Straße so I can pick up my outfit. And then it’s off to the Nockherberg with Konny Laimer. Sounds like a good start to the week. By the way, it’s quite chilly in Munich – 14 degrees – but as you can see in the background, the sun's shining. It’ll warm up a bit around midday. As far as I’m concerned, that’s actually the perfect Wiesn weather. Not too hot, the sun’s out, you can sit in the beer garden, you can take a stroll around the Wiesn. So, actually, the conditions are ideal for getting ready today. And where better to do that than at the Paulaner lederhosen photo shoot. I can see something’s arrived here. Guys, I’ve got a hunch what’s in there. Really cool box. This is the best view ever for opening something like this. I’ve got the most wonderful view from the office window. How cool – that really does look very smart. It’s exactly what I expected guys. Here are the lederhosen. Bayern belt. There’s also a logo embroidered here. Looks really good. Brilliant. The kit's here. We’re good to go. Pack ma's. Let me put it this way, it already feels just right. The team bus is already here. The lads have just come from training back there and are getting ready. This place is still being refurbished by the way. The first-team facilities on Säbener Straße are being expanded, and we’ll be heading to the Nockherberg with Konny Laimer shortly. By the way, whilst we’re standing here, this is the new team bus. New design. Looks very smart, and it’s got the Bavarian rhombus pattern on it too. Ah, it’s really smart. Konny, Paulaner lederhosen shoot. One of the nicer events of the year, right? Of course. Just like every year. It’s great fun. Now it's time to head over there and do it. And it’ll definitely be great fun, just like every year. As long as I don’t have to tap the barrel. Good memories of tapping the barrel? Yeah, the first year... The second year went smoothly. The first year, no one explained it properly to me. But you get the hang of it. Tell me, what memories do you have of the Wiesn, what comes to mind when you think of the Wiesn, of Paulaner? Well, first of all, fun, friends, sitting together, music – lots of things. And maybe having a drink and a bite to eat. There are so many positive and fond memories that make you look forward to doing it again and also look back on it fondly. Look, I’ve prepared a little something. Namely, a Paulaner ‘Wiesn Q&A’ on the beer mats. I’ll give these to you now. Have a look through them and do them one by one. So I have to read them out and then answer them? Can you still remember your first visit to the Wiesn? Actually, yes. I was still at Salzburg then; I can’t say exactly how old I was, probably about 18, 19 or thereabouts, and we went there by bus. But I didn’t feel like I knew the place at all, I was somewhere and everywhere, I’d say. But back then, it was a lot of fun, and then there was a long break. And the second time was when I was here at FC Bayern. So your first proper visit to the Wiesn was actually with FC Bayern. No, the other one was proper too. But it was actually a bit longer ago. What can you do better at the Wiesn than on the football pitch? Absolutely no idea. I’d say I’m just as good at both. I’m just as good on the pitch as I am at the Oktoberfest. Stamina? - My stamina is always very good. My stamina on the pitch is probably a bit better than at the Oktoberfest. Above all, you just can’t do it that often. Maybe once or twice, and that’s it. But then privately too, right? Privately, yes. Once. Once privately, once with Bayern, but then that’s it. When do you wear traditional dress in your private life? Do you like wearing traditional dress? I do, yes, but I think I'd only ever wear it privately, on special occasions. I’d say so. If you’re invited to go somewhere where there's a Bavarian theme. That sort of thing happens every now and then, whether it’s a christening, a party or whatever. Then I wear traditional dress in private. Which of your teammates Then I wear traditional dress in private. Which of your teammates looks best in lederhosen? I’d definitely say Dayot Upamecano. They just suit him really well. Does he feel comfortable in leather? Has he ever mentioned it? I reckon so – I’ve known him for so long now, he’s been around for so long – they suit him perfectly. I’d love it if he wore them more often, not just at the Wiesn. You’ve got a table and can invite five people with whom you’d like to spend a day at the Wiesn with roast chicken and beer. Who would they be? There’d be quite a few in our team, I have to say. A lot of them are certainly easy to get on with. I’d take Tom Bischof and Jonathan Tah. Those two are always a laugh, always up for a bit of fun - they’d fit right in, so I’d add them to the group. We’re already at... There are five; I can invite three more. Then I’d take Serge. He’s always good to have at a gathering like that. It’s always fun with him. Then we’ve still got two. I feel like I could name anyone there, to be perfectly honest. I’ll just go with Harry Kane and Manu. We’ve got a bit of experience in there and a few youngsters. We’d definitely have a laugh with that lot. It’d definitely be fun. Is there a teammate about whom you’d say, ‘I’d follow him blindly at the Wiesn’ and one where you’d rather know beforehand what he's got planned? I’d say Aleks Pavlović. With him, I’d like to know what he’s got planned before I followed him blindly. Although he’s the one who supposedly knows his way around best. He certainly knows his way around. He’s from Munich; he knows where he needs to go. But I'd still have to ask first: 'Where are we going?' before I trusted him blindly. And who would I follow blindly? I’d follow Jonathan Tah blindly. He’s so calm and collected. He knows what he’s doing, he goes about it very calmly, he keeps everything organised; he knows what’s coming, and he plans it all out in advance. You can always trust him blindly. And you know you’re in for a lovely, relaxing afternoon or evening. Great, thank you. - A pleasure. Right then, guys, that was the Konny Laimer Paulaner Wiesn Q&A. It’s about to start at the Nockherberg. Let me show you around a bit. This here is the interior of the Nockherberg. Everything’s set up here, the wheat beer, the glasses you’re already very familiar with them. By the way, the women's team are on their way too. Women's team, men’s team, it's all set up. And that’s the set where they'll take the team photo in lederhosen. The wheat beer's over there. Everything’s ready. Now, the Paulaner Lederhosen photo shoot is not just a photo shoot; there will of course be a few challenges too. Everything you’ll see on social media around the Wiesn, everything you’ll see on our channels around the Wiesn, is being produced here today. It really is a huge day. Just waiting for the team. Here’s a little more from behind the scenes. What a massive set-up. Normally, the banquet hall is also where all the festivities are held at the Nockherberg. Right, here we go. The lads are all booted and suited, looking very smart! Now we can check what Konny said about who looks best in lederhosen. He said ‘Upa’ – where’s Upa? Upa's up there. Can’t yet see him in all his glory, but we'll take a look in a moment to see if Konny was right. Look into the camera. Look up, that’s it. Very nice. Konny's performing. The shoot’s over. I’m going to go and get Sven Ulreich now private audience with master brewer private audience with master brewer Christian Dahncke from Paulaner, who’s been with the company for over 30 years. Christian’s going to show us a few things here and tell us a bit about the Wiesn and the beer. Are you happy with the outfit? Yeah, it’s fantastic. Looks great. A Wiesn outfit is always brilliant. Is that the new one? Yes, but we already wore them on the balcony, so they’re already well broken in. Hi, Christian. - Hello, Sven. Nice to meet you. We're in Nockherberg, which is kind of the cradle of the Paulaner brewery. We installed another little brewery of our own here. The big brewery moved out west to Langwied, and we've kind of, yes, kept the roots and still brew beer here. What do you pay particular attention to for the Wiesn beer? Is there like a special recipe where you say, that tastes even better for the Wiesn visitors? That is the case, yes. I always say, Oktoberfest is like the World Cup of brewing. There are six Munich breweries that are allowed to brew Wiesn beer. Paulaner is obviously one of them, and everyone gives 200 percent. Of course, everyone should give 100 all year round, but for this we do step it up. It is special, it does have its own recipe. We source the raw materials a bit differently, try to only use the only best hops, the best malt, we start to think early in the year about how we want to do the Wiesn beer. In that respect, it's always very special for everyone. - Top! The Wiesn visitors are always happy with good beer. Yes, for me as master brewer, that's obviously always a moving moment. I always say I have the best job at the Wiesn because I'm there on the first Wiesn Saturday, my job is done, the beer is there. I just have to make sure it comes out and, of course, that the guests like it. We've always managed that well up to now, so that's my highlight moment. First Wiesn Saturday, 12:00, the glasses clinking. That's kind of my applause, when they clink glasses, they like it and I can then sit back. Great. So we can look forward to good beer at the Wiesn, in any case. - Absolutely. This year... You can already try. There's a glass from the tap. But obviously, it tastes best at the Wiesn. - Tastes better in the atmosphere. Exactly. Maybe we'll manage to see each other for a toast. - Yes, that'd very nice. Very nice. What's your best Wiesn story? I don't know if I should tell my best Wiesn story. Better to keep it secret. I'll ask you again on Wiesn day. Yes, exactly. Great. Great, thank you. Christian, what’s important with the tapping? Because we do this every year with the men's and women's players, and I always say, it doesn't always go smoothly. Someone will get wet or get sprayed with beer. But that's the trick, right? Well, I follow it every year and I must say, no one's to blame that sometimes it sprays more, sometimes less. There are a few things to keep in mind and then it's fairly simple. So I'd say, anyone can do it once they've done it two or three times and keep a few things in mind, as I said. - Then let's do it quickly. Mistake number one: this is the tap, it's called the 'Hahn' or the technical term, 'Wechsel'. Obviously it has to be closed. So, mistake number one: you take it like this, tap and then light beer flows. That's obviously a rookie error, but one you can't make. It must be closed. You have to hold it tight, thumb on the top, secure it and then, in the end, you need the mallet - this one even has Paulaner on it - and then it's just important... Maybe if we go to the barrel quickly, then it'll be easier, There's still a splash guard on it, which is quite smart. Then it sprays a bit less, which obviously we don't want. We want it to spray. I won't tap it now, but the important thing is that you keep the tap completely straight. So not like this or this, but at a straight angle. Then just, with oomph, with a real thud, do the first hit but don't sway, keep very straight. Woof! And then the second hit immediately after. A safety hit, so boom, boom. And that's it. - So it's not possible with one? It's possible but you shouldn't do it. One for good measure. Exactly, we always do it. Another thing that's important: most people go like this, and they look behind at the mallet, which you shouldn't do, because then this goes awry, you go like this and then do that. Here, the mallet comes, no problem, then boom, boom. O'zapft is! So, noted for the Wiesn - if you have questions, go to Christian. Exactly, gladly come to me. Tapping training done, now I'll show you what happened when the lads also had a go. Splash guard on or not? Yes, I think? - It's safer. Look. Yes, I'll help you. So, just take it normally. Put the thumb through. Hold it firmly with the left hand. Yes, exactly. But you have to try to hit it from below a bit, you know. And it's always better to give it one more hit than to say, I'm done with two hits, you know. Harder, yeah? - Yes, harder. And press on it. Press! Yes, good. Superb technique. That was good. - Now for the real job. So hold it tilted. Yes, tilt it. Open it properly. Don't overtwist. Now drink. Joking! O'zapft is! ¡Enséñame! Okay. Okay. Lo intento. Vale. Bien. Salud. Second round at Nockherberg. FC Bayern Women are here now. Also looking very chic in their maroon dirndls. The girls are having fun. The girls also being handed beer. She just asked if they're allowed to drink it. Let's watch another tapping with Klara Bühl. And you're going to show me how to do it? - Yes, it's not too difficult. Thumb through there. So it's closed, otherwise it'll come loose. Then with the left hand, press very firmly on it, and then just lightly from below. And if you hit it five times, it's all the same. But it's also fine to do one? - Never. Press it firmly on with the left. And how heavily will it pour out? Again. That's it. Incredible. - It's in? Yes, two! Mega! I'm happy to do that. Oops, too much. Still need to practise that. O'zapft is! O'zapft is! - Great. Not just a pro on the pitch, but also at the barrel. Klara Buhl, incredible. Here comes a fresh one. Showtime. Giulia Gwinn. Very good. Cheers! The women's team not just really strong on the pitch, but also at tapping. So guys, the Paulaner lederhosen photo shoot 2026 is in the books. It's a really fun event at Nockherberg and it really gets you in the Wiesn mood. It was great to see both teams in their garb for the first time. We still have four weeks. I said before, the atmosphere is building towards Wiesn, towards the most wonderful time of the year in Munich. But first, let's celebrate. Cheers! Well, guys, that was quick. 18 September 2026. One day before the start of the Wiesn. But today, there's also a highlight in store in ideal Munich weather. Home match at the Arena, home match against Union Berlin. A few Wiesn activities are planned. There's a brass band there, who will play a bit later before the match. The new Wiesn jersey will obviously be worn. I've already got mine on, it looks very good. I like it a lot. That's why I got it out today. We've got a bit of time until the match. It's about 18:00 now, two and a half hours before kick-off. I'm going to have a look around the esplanade, then I've been given something by Paulaner. There are Wiesn tokens to win, but not that easily. There has to be a little challenge, of course. We'll find a few fans on the esplanade and then see, all in the name of the Wiesn. Right, here we go, up and away from the Arena. Leaving it behind us for the esplanade, so the area outside the stadium where the fans come before the match. So, I suggest we now find ourselves two candidates for Steinholding. It's going to be good. Unmistakeable - a good Paulaner spot here, I think we'll find someone here. The beer garden's already full. There's a bit of time until the game, not loads happening yet. At least it's not completely full yet. But this is our spot for the 'Masskrug Challenge'. I'm not coming here empty-handed. Ten beer tokens for the Paulaner marquee. So it's certainly worth the effort. Niklas. Tobi. Okay, perfect. Niklas, Tobi, we're doing a quick challenge. It's Steinholding. You know the rules? Yes. - You have to pick up the mug, not like this but extended. Okay, so at 90 degrees if possible. We also do this with the players at Säbener Straße. The record... - I've seen it. Perfect. He knows his stuff. Do you know what the record is? - I think it was Ribéry. He's also up there, but Benji Pavard is the record holder, 3:30, then it's Coco Tolisso. So, you've got a bit to do. I think you'll get great times. So, my friends, this one's poured a bit better, this one a bit worse. We have to be fair and say, that one's poured a bit worse, so in that case, I might give you three or four seconds, but we'll see. Look at this man. A very fair team player. We had to set up a bit beforehand, it didn't just spring to mind. It's not the perfect Wiesn measurement, but it'll do for the challenge. Are you ready? Niklas vs. Tobi, the FC Bayern Paulaner Wiesn Challenge outside the Arena. It's one day before the Wiesn. I've got some really nice prizes, but I don't want to reveal them now. On your marks, get set, go! Very good. You've had five seconds. Well, you're both hard as nails, but you look incredibly relaxed. How's it going? - I'm already shaking a bit. Already! 30 seconds. Pull through. If you want to break the record, you need to keep going for another three minutes. Greetings to our record holder. No breath yet? It's a kind of breathing exercise. He's bringing himself down. A true pro. Thanks. We'll drink it after. Tobi, how's it going? Easy? Comfortable enough? Tobi's eyeing the record. - 2:30? We've already done 1:30. So we certainly need to double that, three minutes. You can both manage that. Have you both eaten something, drunk something? You haven't? Tobi hasn't eaten anything, Niklas has. Hey, he's starting to bend a bit. We'll have a look, have a look. Oh, Niklas is hurting, Niklas is hurting. Tobi, as you were. The pressure's on now. Two minutes gone. Okay, Niklas is out after two minutes, five seconds. Tobi still doesn't feel a thing, hasn't even started yet. So strong from Tobi here, he's even got the scarf on, making it heavier. Yeah. Oh yeah, now it's there, he has to grit his teeth. Time to shine. - Where are we at? 2:30. You can do three minutes, come on. Not that an accident's about to happen. 15 seconds, Tobi! 10 seconds left, battle through it. Fight and win, Tobi. Three, two, one. Three minutes. We're almost, the rules... There's certainly a bend there. But Tobi's pushing through. A true Bayern fan. Great stuff. We're too low down now, but 3:10 - impressive. Excellent. Well done! Well done too, Niklas. Now you need to stay a bit. As I said before, I've got something nice. You're the winner. I don't know, you can choose. I have 10 Paulaner Wiesn beer tokens, for the Paulaner tent. Maybe invite Niklas, for his performance, and have a good time at the Wiesn. Thank you. - What a guy. Amazing. Thanks, gents. Enjoy the game. Sensational. The guys pulled through. Tobi was really good, hopefully we'll see him tomorrow at the Wiesn. Let's head into the stadium. Next item, I already announced it: what's part of the
