of Harbig Stanon for what is anticipated to be a highly charged emotional talk spiel on match day six in Bundesliga 2 here in Lower Saxony struggling Dunamo Dresdon welcome highflying Hera Berlin who arrive from the capital looking to make it six wins from six and return tonight to the summit of the standings but evening second from bottom Dresdon that will be far from easy in this electric [music] atmosphere here. This stadium as rockous as ever this evening, especially given what transpired between these two teams 5 and a half months ago here. A 20minut stoppage that saw visiting fans enter the pitch and fire flares into the Dresden supporters having had one of their flags stolen. Masked members of the home crowd, then retaliating by making their way to the away section. Incidents that ultimately left 17 people injured. Tonight, all we want is a passionate football match, but it's one that only around 700 select Hera fans will get to watch live. Given the restrictions imposed [music] and a resulting fan protest, they are being dramatically drowned out by some 30,000 in yellow and black. For Hera, who've begun with five straight wins for the first time in club history, this is set to be a real test in their bid to end another week top of the table and to remain as the only perfect side in the second divisions of any of Europe's five biggest footballing nations. The host Dunamo have been a surprise struggler, only four points from their first five, but have the tools and the support to climb the table for them. Thomas Stam has made three changes from last week's 2-2 draw in Brownfike with each of those players making their first starts for the club. The most curious of which comes at center back where regular Thomas Keller is missing from the squad. But rather than the normal replacement Friedrich Muller, it's teenager Till Nininger [cheering] who comes in for his professional debut. Elsewhere, Kennedy Opala and Yona Sterner dropped to the bench with Italian Simon Strowy and 19-year-old Patrice Chovic, born in Berlin and formerly of Heras Academy forming a brand new right side. In midfield, Nikolai Rap a key summer signing scored last week, but has had his fit for the lone holding role criticized for a lack of pace with Faith seemingly placed in the same formation tonight. That could be a weakness against a fast hurtter side. On the left, Alexander Rossipal's corners and crosses should offer a major threat as too then Bobcen's talent. Two goals and three assists so far for him in all competitions for her to just one change from their hardfought 3-1 win in Osnab as midfield orchestrator Paluine returns from a one-ame suspension replacing Pascal Clemens who returns to the bench. He partners Kevin Cessa who last week scored his first goal on his 50th appearance for the club. New captain Yseph Breelo on target as well scoring his fourth of the season already. The Croatian has hit the ground running after his first summer with the club. Elsewhere, Shon Adumi who scored three goals off the bench this term keeps his place after a first start last week. And it's a lineup that for a sixth straight game to start the campaign features five players who only had squad or backup roles last season and like the other games includes a minimum of three academy products. >> I'm Tim Long with you for this big game tonight. These two teams meeting for the first time since those terrible incidents here in April. The game ultimately won 1-0 by Hera despite the now captain Yseph Breckelo having been sent off. They've made the 2 and 1 half hour drive south from the capital. Vastly transformed from the team that arrived here last season. And what they've done so far has been quite remarkable. After 12 departures from last season's first team squad, including the sales of five important starters for close to30 million euros, they signed only four players, three of them on loan, while filling the other gaps with players promoted from the academy. Torchenson returning from a loan spell in Norway and as many as five squad players from last season becoming regular starters. The result, incredibly, has been five straight wins for the first time in the club's 59-year professional history to start a season. They spent only 150,000 on one permanent signing. Left back Matts Pettison lost their captain and Tales Manfabian Ree, the joint top point scorer in the division last season. And yet, they have somehow improved. At least three academy graduates in each starting lineup. so far and Gersbeck, Iberger, Colbert, Cesar, and groaning starting every single league game, a group of squad players who averaged only seven league starts between them last season. [cheering] They've won tough home games against Heidenheim and Magnavorg teams starting this weekend third and fourth in the table. They've celebrated away victory already at Bockam, Brown and Osnner. They have so far remained perfect despite twice having players sent off having to produce a comeback from two down and navigating periods of stiff resistance including last week when they won without their suspended midfield leader Paluine. Now can they pass this next test here tonight? [screaming and cheering] The size of the test >> illustrated [cheering] by the number of decibels reverberating around the stadium right now as this big crowd, [cheering] this very vocal crowd gets ready for the arrival of the two teams out onto the pitch. [cheering] This stadium after last season's obstreporous atmosphere amplified even more so tonight. The flood lights on. The memory of what happened here in April, cultivating a big fight feel for tonight's top spiel. Her arrived from the capital riding a big blue wave of confidence and cohesion for the first time in their 59year professional history. They've started with five straight wins. Something that's only ever been done 12 times in this division, win a game tonight, and they'll become just the third ever side and the first in 40 years to win each of their first six. The other two went on to win the title. They've so far averaged three goals a game, giving them the best record across each of Germany's top three divisions. Their 15 goals scored also a club record at this stage. It is an ominous prospect for [music] a Dresdon side that conceded a league joint most 12 goals across the first five match days. Nicholas helped man the new Dresdton captain this season after the retirement of Stefan Kuchker and Joseph Brealo the new hera captain after the departure of Fabian Resa sent off here last season but he started this campaign on fire four goals and two assists the first five games >> no doubt Dunamo need this viferous crowd behind them. Only two of the 12 they've conceded so far have come at this stadium. Talk about being thrown in at the deep end for a couple of 19year-olds getting their first starts tonight. Patrice Chvich who was born in Berlin spent nine years in the Hera Academy will play against his formative club tonight and at the back till Nininger making his professional debut doing so against the joint best attack in the league. Stefan Litle who's now in his second full season as her coach after finishing seventh last season unbeaten in seven previous career meetings with Dunamo. on the other bench Thomas Stam Dresdon promoted to this level last year. You wonder if he could come under significant pressure if Results don't improve. There are much higher expectations here this season. Things could quickly turn sour for him. The big weapon for his team tonight could be their set pieces. Two goals from corners in Browns fight last week. Three of their seven goals this season coming from corners. That is still perhaps one of Hera's weaknesses having conceded two of their six so far from such situations. Else back after his oneame suspension are looking to make it six wins from six. The top spiel of match day six is an East German grudge match. Dunamo Dresdon attempting to stop her to Berlin from becoming the first team in 40 years to win each of their first six games of a Bundesliga 2 season. There is recent history, plenty of passion. Three precious points on the line here in Lower Saxony tonight. Looking to finish the weekend top again. Dunamo aiming to jump out of the relegation zone and even as high as ninth place with a victory. Gbeck going long. He was the backup goalkeeper for Hera each of the last three seasons. Charst having departed in the summit is now the number one illustration as to how remarkable that story is to start the season for Hera. Five of their starting 11 in every game so far were squad or backup players last season when they finished seventh. They are now flying high and aiming to finish match day six in first. Vermi battling the aerial ball very adept at doing so. Dresdon's number nine 6'5 in stature 196 if you prefer in cm. There is a considerable styles clash in the offing this evening. Dresdon, despite being second from bottom, have had the most possession, the most passes and the best pass completion rate in the league. They've not created well enough though and they've conceded a league second most four goals from turnovers. Hera. They're only 10th for possession and bottom three for passes. But instead, a team from the capital have played the second most long passes. They have the second most intense runs towards the opposition goal and they've scored a league high four goals from counterattacks. Have to beware of that significant and particular threat here this evening. Dewumi looking to show his trickery on his second start after goals in three straight games off the bench. The number 19 made his way into the starting lineup last week for the first time. An Austrian under21 international loan from Burnley. [screaming] >> [cheering] [screaming] >> Gettoer, one of those academy products for Hera, playing on the right side of the two center backs with Nicholas Kulba on the left and Marius Gersbeck the keeper who is now 31 years of age but there's himself an academy product born in Berlin he left the club and made his return three seasons ago just one league appearance last season as the backup to Jens he started every game this season back to Gersbeck eventually put his hurter career under significant threat when he did return that summer in 2023 he was uh involved in a fight after leaving a training camp without permission. [cheering] >> Charged with GBH and later avoiding significant punishment with a settlement made and then having to fight for his place between the Hera sticks for three straight seasons before now getting his first big shot. when he did sign in 2023, he was expected to be a key player and then that incident occurred and boy has he had to wait cushioned off by Torch Denson Zuberger's cross claimed by Tim Shriber's number one on route to promotion a couple of seasons ago. Chovic back to Vagna. Deafening Desels continuing to boom from this famous old stadium. A crowd renowned for being incredible. was a little bit of something to chase for Patrice Chovic on this near side just then. 19year-old has come in on the right side of the attack. Where's the number 24? He's a Croatian under 19 international born in Berlin. Nine years in the Herter Academy helped man new captain this season. Botine the big chance here to get the ball in towards Vagner who's found out where the goal is this season. Robert Vagner. He's got a couple of them already and having not scored at all last season. He's getting forward more and more. The number 18 There is the question mark however as to how much that has left Nikolai Rap exposed as the holding midfield player. Now we talked about this as being a big weapon for Dunamo. Three of their seven goals this season coming from corners including both in brown last week. Curiously they take this one short. They'll have another go. [cheering] You can imagine this one is going straight into the mixer. First time in over nine and a half years they'd scored multiple goals from corners in the same match. He scored nine from corners last season as well. Seven of those came in the second half of the season. That one does go high but too high after initially taking it short. haven't quite got their act together yet. It's a cheap giveaway. Nice communication between two new teammates. Simon Strowy, the right back who came off the bench in the last game and showed plenty of ambition getting forward. He's taken that starting spot for the first time here today in place of Yonas Sterner who's on the bench. Now Bob Zim thought about the shot might still got plenty of trickery in those boots. Rap who scored last week seeing his long range are blocked to get the first goal. Nikolai Rap last week, but his performances as the holding midfield player have largely been criticized having been a big signing for Dresdon over the summer. The Kofi Amala replacement. Big boots to fill. A big name to fill them, but not the desired result so far. Amako a really dynamic athletic midfield player wrap a little slower. Zuin Bodí working well to put a boot in going backwards. Last season secured their first survival at this level since 2019. They did so as one of the best teams in the league the second half of the season. [cheering] Lots of analysts and fans expected them to carry that form forward into the new campaign. Vermi they're threatening here. Chovic deflected it in and the teenager born in Berlin marks his first Dunamo star with a goal against his formative club. Inside of 10 minutes, one of the changes Tomish Dam has made has made a difference. And perfect her are behind. [screaming] Patrice Chovic drifting in [cheering] connecting with Vermi and getting far too much room [cheering] far too easily into that shooting position. Time to dribble towards the box. Very time to cushion it off and a couple of meters to take the shot on. Deflected in. It wasn't the crispest finish, but it was enough. That little deflection catching out Gersbeck and Padres Chovic very happy indeed to celebrate against a club with whom he grew up and a club for whom his father still works. Antiche Chovic the current Hera under 19's coach who spent the last 23 years with Hera Berlin. Patrice Chovic the 19year-old the goal scorer against Hera tonight. It's only his second shot on goal in Bundesliga two having made his debut off the bench last week. Now in a flip of the script, it's Dunamo offered the opportunities to counter against the counterattacking team. Mera Dan Hman has won a corner. [cheering] Adric Chovic has been waiting for them in close proximity to the corner flag previously from the far side. Simon Strowy is the taker. Chovic waits as an option again, but seemingly this one from Strowy will go straight in to have already come from behind to win a game this season. >> [cheering] >> They've got another corner here. Dresden getting the answer he wanted from referee Christian Dingard. They have applied the pressure early on. Four corners, the only four corners of the game. They've had the only three shots of the game and they've got a goal to show for it. This one an inswinger flat and steered away. Helped man back tidying up. Well, this is more like the Dunamo Dresden that many expected to see at the start of the new season. Kept many of their core players and key players from the second half of last season when they were so impressive yet they'd started so poorly. [cheering] [screaming] One win, one draw, three defeats the first five match days. The one-nil win came against bottom side Dsteps and their draw came against 13th place Brown. The defeats against Nerburgg, Heidenheim and Bockam. [screaming] [cheering] Now they lead against the team that started this weekend as the league leaders. [screaming] [cheering] Previous [screaming] occasion this season that Hera did fall behind was in the 10th minute as well. That was on match day three in Browns flag. They actually fell two goals behind in that one but ended up winning 5-3. There is a long long way to go tonight. >> Dresdon have sent an early statement. Very awkward to deal with for Kula. Kber out but given away couldn't find boine miscue from Gctor looking nervy. Vagnner gets her across to cover. Vagnner not giving up the fight for the ball. Very dropped kindly for him. They're earning their good fortune right now. Dunham, watch out for her. Opportunities to counter, however. Dresdon seemingly well aware of that threat. with a tactical foul to stop Tensson. In the second half of last season, 28 points for Dresdon after only 13 before Christmas. They scored six more goals in the second half of the season than the first, but their biggest improvement came at the back. >> They allowed 34 goals before Christmas, only 19 afterwards. It's been a leaky defense since the summer. They're going to have to rediscover their robustness tonight, you feel? 12 goals conceded the first five match days of the new campaign >> joint most in the league albe it 10 of those 12 were away only two conceded here to Jensen a chance maybe wi didn't get it close enough to the corner back in >> helped And given away to Patterson Wii. No free kick given. Just strong defending from the teenager Til Niner making his professional debut tonight. Brave decision from Thomas Stam >> to give this young man his professional debut and the man who scored the goal his first start. Two 19year-olds under big pressure hoping to make a big difference to Dresdon's fortunes. Kula was fouled by Vermi. He'll be frustrated with that call. He had a big finish to last season to mirror that of the teams. Vincent Vermi, >> eight goals, three assists over the last 11 match days finished as the team's top scorer with 11 goals through the campaign, having started it injured and building his way back to fitness. given away and they wi ball forward. Toss Densson manufactures room for the cross. Toss Densson's ball. Ragna's interception and then clearance. Segue >> seen nothing going forward from Herza so far. The team with the joint best attack in Bundesliga 2 heading into this weekend. 15 goals, three a game on average the first five match days. Brecklo to Jensen from range deflected. Indication perhaps that they might just start to show their teeth. 15 goals the first five games a new club record >> in Hera's 59year professional history as well as the five straight wins to start breaking records. Their defense has been broken early on here. How about their character? Team >> that's faced plenty of adversity already even this early in the season. Two periods of being down to 10 men. A come back from two down in Brown. Torch Denzel left footed ball in up rather than away by Nininger. Brecklo [cheering] to Jensen blocked off and out of bounds and ball cleared. Given away cheaply though to Colbert the center back forward. Her's best passage of play [cheering] but it comes to a fairly abrupt end. A misplaced pass from the center back Nicholas Goldber. Here's a look at the goal for Patre in the 10th minute. The deflection off Lenus Gekka making all the difference. You have to feel Gersbach would have stopped the shot, but it is everything that Dunamo deserve from their positive opening quarter of an hour or so. Team that has made slow starts this season. Made a very fast one here tonight. Hera over the last five or six minutes showing that they are just regrouping. Roing failed. Plenty of groaning around this arena. And Patterson stood over the free kick. The >> captain's ball in the >> Wii's header back away. Cesar Breckelo the deepest hurt a player momentarily. Top goal scorer runs it out of bounds. Julian Achberger. It's a youth product. who broke into the first team last season, made 12 starts, and he's now become the first choice right back this season, starting every game. One of those five squad players from last season, but has become a fixture in the starting 11. midway point to the first half and you get the feeling that leaky
