hello cool exits pablo here and welcome back to bass universal and welcome to a very special match preview on the channel as it is el clasico barcelona take on real madrid in the semi-finals of the spanish super copper 2022 this will be a single leg tie deciding who plays in sunday's final against the athletic club or atletico madrid and of course when it's at classical it's always a great time to be a football fan especially of one of these two teams but certainly in these circumstances this should be a really competitive affair we've got a lot and a lot to talk about so without any further ado let's get started and this semi-final will be coming to us live at 8 00 p.m spanish time so make sure you guys watch out when that when that kickoff time is for you all around the world and of course this game will be played in saudi arabia as is the way now in the spanish super cup for one reason or another this game when we come to us live from the king stadium in saudi arabia in the capital and i think that always makes these sorts of games a very interesting one before we go any further guys please do feel free to check out the live preview for this game i did yesterday on the this super classical i think we should be really up for this game actually i think every time the super cup rolls around especially in this new format i think in the two previous editions we've actually been you know quite upfront we've put up some worthy displays in the first edition we got knocked out when a thriller in the semi-finals against atletico and of course last year we actually lost an extra time to athletic club after an amazing semi-final against today out of society so i think look in the new format whether you like it or you don't i think it will produce some good games i think especially this time around you know bass versus madrid in a semi-final and this sort of occasion especially when you consider the fact that we haven't actually beaten real madrid in the classical since march 2019 we should be really up for this but coming into the game are we actually favorites for it no absolutely not i think real madrid certainly are the favorites in this sort of game i think especially when you consider the way we played against granada on the weekend there on saturday it just wasn't good enough it wasn't you know up to par for barcelona and then you look at real madrid who actually you know demolished valencia by four goals to one i think it's fair to say that look real madrid are clear favorites here i think if barcelona were to win tomorrow it'd be a massive massive blow to around and of course it'll be a huge huge boost in barcelona's season that's for sure and of course we almost cannot forget the most important thing about tomorrow is that well there's a trophy close to on the line here if we win the semi-final then go on to the final then we'll have our first trophy of the season and of course within about three months of chaby taking over he would have a trophy that's big that has to be a massive motivation for these players the first trophy of the season is on the line real will consider themselves as favorites but when it's classical time it's always going to get interesting and i think of course a lot of how tomorrow's fixture goes willingly depend on who is actually available for barcelona in tomorrow's fixture and right here was the initial squad list given by the club meaning that as you can see rauha frankie diong and anselfatti are all back in it but don't have the medical clearance yet so maybe just one or two of them will start and the others we hope should be able to emerge from the bench but on top of that guys both pederi and fedam todos the day after the squad this was announced have returned negative cobit tests and they will now be meeting up with the team today and that means they could also have some involvement in tomorrow's fixture at least from the bench so i think right now for barcelona that's really positive i think considering the fact that almost every game this season we've been listening off you know eight to ten names of absences right now it's just eddie garcia martin braithwaite and sergio alberto who are missing in total and you gotta say that's positive to hear right now only three players missing and look you know i'm not expecting everyone to come back in and start immediately i think certainly the likes of peddidy and ansel probably aren't going to be playing from the start but i think it's just great to have them back i think especially with this sort of clash even off the bench we should have five substitutes tomorrow so bring the likes of feraan and sulfati off the bench pedi that could be massive habasa so with that in mind how can we actually hurt real madrid in tomorrow's fixture i think if we do get some of our main threat and attack back that will be the absolute key i really do feel that i think real madrid you know they're quite strong they're quite solid this season as we'll be getting on to i think with all those players back we should be confident enough of creating some chances and so dembele you know you've got ab there you've got luke young up front ferrantoro is coming in you know we've got options now guys we should be able to hurt real madrid in at least some way despite the fact that as i said their backline has actually been quite solid core tower and gold has been immense i still feel as if their full backs are the main target so i really do even mendy and kat von half kind of hell is fit i honestly feel as if we can get at them what i would say is that i am expecting ryan which is better in midfield to try and dominate proceedings here i think they will try and take care of our likely young set of midfielders with some of our absences i don't think dion is going to start i think pedigree who's obviously a little more experienced than gavin nicole probably won't be able to start either and i think of course real madrid will be looking at our defense and thinking yeah that's what we're gonna hurt you and i think from a bastard's point of view that's exactly where we're worried you know you've got benson out there you've got vinicius up there and i think if an al hot isn't fit for bassa we're gonna need some absolutely immense performances from the likes of george alaba from the knights of clement langley and of course mark stergen in goal and before we actually get on to how both teams could line up which i'm sure you're all quite interested in let's actually take a look at around madrid for a bit because i've touched on a few points about real madrid but i think they've had actually a really interesting season they're now managed by carol ancelotti i think it's fair to say look real madrid are coming to this super copper as the absolute favorites for the competition for the whole tournament not just tomorrow's game they will feel that when you consider the fact that look they're high flying in la liga they're clear at the top of the table they look set to win la liga this season and they're up against barcelo down in sixth atletico her in fourth and an athletic club who are in ninth look there's a massive gap there in terms of confidence in terms of form in terms of how teams been playing this season i think despite the fact that real madrid will recognize you know this is a classic of course they're gonna take it seriously you know it's real madrid at the end of the day they're not gonna you know underestimate barcelona they will give it their role in this classical they recognize i think it will be quite a tense game actually but i think they will still feel deep down that they want to be dominating this sort of game they'll feel very confident i think of just controlling us you know keeping us at arm's length if you like with the midfield they've got and especially an attack there guys i think they'll feel super confident of doing us some damage and even in defense guys they've been really solid this season with coursewaring goal and as i say you know those two men up front bender's mountain vinicius the two top scorers of la liga and spain they will definitely feed us if they can do us some big damage tomorrow so then how will chevy line up for this fixture it is quite up in the air again guys because of course a lot will depend on if chubby does decide to draft in some players who haven't played in a while the likes of anisol pedi fed antonio's for his debut will they get to start from the start i'm going to say no i think bastard will probably bring these guys off the bench and i think if we're doing the most honest predicted lineup i think this is the sort of thing we could be seeing it's a stegon of course we'll start in goal i think danny alves will get another right back just i think arnold who will play next to be care if he's fit jolly alabama will be there at left back of course if fadal hot isn't fit i think longley will come in and that's the way we'll go in midfield i'm expecting it to be able to sketch nikon gavi deyong again a bit like pedi i don't think either of those guys are going to be fit to start at least and then up front i think denver will definitely start i think luke dion will get the knot again and then on the left up at memphis to pie you have got some options of course philanthropist is an option i suppose and still fatty too but as i said i think both those guys aren't fit to start then you've got juggler if your glass starts no issues from me same as for abdi actually who is more of a natural winger but i put memphis there i think it could be a big opportunity for memphis so let's see what happens guys how would you line up of course considering that maybe some of the guys coming back won't be fit to start the only one we're really expecting to be almost rushed back in is rauhan defense other than that i think you know pederi ferran ansel even a frankie diong i don't think they'll be used from the start and on to real madrid it's actually pretty self-explanatory they haven't had you know many injuries all season they've been pretty solid pretty compact very very good at you know just getting over and mulling over matches courthouse starting goal of course but right back it'll be will be between lucas vasquez and carvajal i think if kind of a hardest fit he could come back in and start military and alabama will be there at centerbacks of course fell on mandy at left back midfield the classic midfield three of casimir casa miraculous and modric and then up front ascension i think will be next to benzema and vinicius and moving on to match predictions then here is how you guys predicted the game to go actually quite a mixed bag here usually it's you know a lot more dominant but to be fair i think a lot of you guys recognize this that this is going to be hard the the one with the highest score percentage so far is a real madrid win by two goals which well i think maybe says it all about where real madrid are right now compared to barcelona a few of you also hoping for a basket win by one goal then there are you know other suggestions that bastard could be getting a big win here or the rail getting narrow in but you know what i'm gonna go for the option in the middle i think this is going to go to extra time going for barcelona 2 real madrid 2 and then i've got an optimistic because why not barcelona to win on penalties and to make it at the super cup final i think this is going to be a really tough game i think real madrid come into its favorites i think they will feel they'll be able to quite comfortably handle barcelona here and i think a lot of people will be predicting a real madrid win especially if you're in neutral but let's see what happens on classical day you never know and i actually think performance wise we might make this quite a level game i actually do feel that i think the way we've been playing under chavy maybe we've been a bit unlucky with the way we can see too easily and we don't score enough so i think actually when it gets to the pitch when it gets to 90 minutes in saudi arabia i think we'll
