all right i believe we are officially live hello coolest and welcome back to bass universal and welcome to another live stream i did the first last week with a little uh athletic preview of course we we drew that game we've drawn televanta as well and it looks like la liga is officially done but today guys we have a really really important issue to talk about the issue i'm sure you guys you know you're all talking about uh in the comments and in the live chat on social media you know everyone's discussing ronald kuhlman for that we're joined by two very special guests basketball you want to say hello hello everyone nice to be here nice to see you yeah yeah sorry man just cut you off let's have a chat that's all yeah and uh and also going to be joined by blogger on our planet so thank you guys both for coming on hey thank you pablo for inviting me and it's i'm looking forward for a great chat so let's go let's do it all right well let's not waste any more time then let's go uh one by one what are your thoughts on the current situation and more specifically on on ronald kuhlman basically because you know obviously we're gonna have a lot to say i think i think on this one but let's start let's start with you bastard boy ronald kuhlman like should he stay should he go what's the whole what's the whole situation what's your thinking behind everything we're hearing right now for me personally the situation is quite delicate as you all know ronald coleman has sacrificed a lot to become the boss of the manager i said that before i said again i don't think he's the manager going forward i don't think we have a future in him i think if he continues he'll be sacked by january december february times and valverde but if we continue with him it is absolutely offense with it right because if we sacked him we stack up if we don't we don't i'm kind of in the middle with it i can see both sides to it you have one side in game management crap substitutions crap big games crap he dealt with two messy interviews no president won the copa del rey paid his own release clause to come here i'm in the middle with it but again i don't see him being successful in the long term at this club if he wants to stay another year then we can bring in a proper replacement i may be on that board but there's no future withdrawal coming in my opinion unless he does draft changes for sure if laporte puerto ricans risk it with him given another year maybe he'll change off of our minds it could be a possibility at this current moment i don't see barcelona with the future with royal coleman yeah all right alex what about you because he made some good points there and it's almost like if if we he made a good point about there's not really that much of a future it seems like ronald kuhlman so is it even worth keeping him next season you know what what's your what's your thoughts i'm interested to hear what you think on on the whole situation right now to be honest yeah so i have to agree with a lot of things uh that bar saboy said not all of them and i think that it's a very difficult decision whether to decide if command stays or not i'm gonna leave that to la porta but i'm gonna give you the the pros and the cons basically the prawns the the the pros is that kuman is a brave guy he sacrificed yes okay that's his own problem though we're we're looking into barcelona right now um i i understand kuman is a legend of the club to me it's not enough to be the barcelona coach um but bartomeo decided so because his experience kuman's experience there's nothing that you can really grab into um and and basically justify his arrival to barcelona the only thing that can justify his arrival is the fact that he's a brave guy that he can actually have a good connection with the players and that he's a legend of barcelona to me certainly it's not enough tactically as parser boy said he's he's nowhere near a mastermind and we need somebody i'm not asking for a mastermind but we need somebody that can start building the foundations of the future of barcelona and to me ronald kuhlman is simply not it because we need somebody that can outsmart all the other coaches that are out there in europe and our team is is is very good so we need to see more stuff from this team i expect more we have the best player in the world the best player in the history and we barely win the copa del rey some things need to change yeah yeah you you both made good points there to be honest like there are pros there are cons i in terms of going on next season it kind of looks difficult for kum and for cumin to continue we could stick with him but for it's going to be hard for him for the fans you know he's slowly like getting that sort of you know that their legacy when we went into the 1920 season and the whole fan base just hated the manager and that's such like that's such a horrible dynamic to have going into a season it really is you know it just it just sets you up badly um but you know in terms of pros and cons it's probably looking like there's there's more corners right now we'll probably go into more details um on the cons in in a minute to be honest because i think there is you know a lot to talk about but in terms of a fair assessment do you think it would be fair to to keep cumin or sac cumin you know if we're talking about barcelona like alex said you know not just cumin should like should he say should he go um i want to start with you first on that one like what are your thoughts would it be fair to get rid of him or would it be fair to actually say you know what have i have a summer have to pay see what you can do mate or would it be or would it be even fairer to say no we're barcelona here we need to win la liga we have to be better tactically what your thoughts based on barcelona he has to go he has not shown any signs of anything if you go look at my videos back in the big season when i had 200 subscribers i was saying it we lost the classico we lost beginning the season you can't see anything with donald coleman then he starts to change one two three at the back first he went to the 433 worked out in the back he's just on the pitch as the manager he does not show us any good signs whatsoever like i think uh alex said in his match preview for the levante game he uses the same 14 players every single game you watch my match previews it's the same predicted lineup every single week because we know he's gonna pick he'll make a maximum one or two changes and he goes and complains about the uh about the fixture the schedule no one's telling you to play the same 11 players every single week you have only played on the bench i think someone tweeted one of the journalists saying the salary of the bench at levante was 19 million so they sat on the bench earned 19 million and went home it's just outside the pitch i think he's done a fairly good job to be honest you know like i said he dealt with two messy interviews you all know he does not mess he just barely talks at all but on the pitch it's not at the level that we want and again like alex said it's getting down to the fourth that he's gonna have to make the move on it we all know if laporte was the president he would not have appointed him we all know that laporte is bored it's in his ear saying look he's not the right man he's a legend we thank you for coming in at a difficult time but like back to your question on the pitch he's not good enough to add in a comment here and i understand um ronald kuhlman came in a difficult situation and i think we also have to think about the actual situation that he came in right royal couman is is a brave coach and the situation with barcelona is the fact that we're in a transition year or if you like to call it this way or or not but the reality is that barcelona have been dragging themselves in europe for the past five years royal command cannot change everything in one season and certainly with with the help of bartomeu that's impossible yeah so we need now that laporta is here things could change we also have to look at the players the backbone of barcelona has been the same for the last decade the last decade the first five years was working amazingly you know the last five years been nowhere near the level right and obviously the the replacements the add-ons to this backbone have been a complete failure thank you to bartomeu and i'm not going to mention bartomeu anymore because this is a name nobody wants to hear but but the fact is that the replacement the replacements haven't been there right you signed continue for a crazy amount of money he earns a ton of money and that's that's uh that's obviously something that's hurting the club right now because you need to pay his salary and you need to actually make up all the money that you invested in the player while he's always injured that now you need to loan him griezmann another player like that and and then ballet as well you invested crazy amounts he earns 10 million per year and they're not giving you the results no and and to be fair kuman they gave him cersei know this um he got pedry they he got uh eva he has ricky puts he doesn't want to use him that's another point we can discuss but i think that the the players also have to uh apart here and certainly if we if if you just change the coach every six months or every season the main problem is still there yeah obviously for me it's hand to hand the coach and the players but uh it's very difficult to actually change all the players in one season as i said the backbone of of barcelona and in fact i'm i'll be uploading a video very soon about it talking about this the there are six players in barcelona that played against levante that were in the final in the champions league game against roma against liverpool and against bayern munich those six players are still here and they were all all all defeated in those games and they're still there and in fact let me tell you one thing they're earning crazy amounts of money and and the amount of money they're earning is probably the highest of any football player in europe in their position yeah look at the situation bartomeu left us yeah now we're talking about cumin and i understand because cumin is not the fit for barcelona because the experience is not there uh we're not seeing anything good from kuman despite oh not despite but uh only like he's playing with the youngsters okay but he has no other option he has no other option so i think it's a very difficult thing to do to reinvent this club but uh maybe the easiest thing would be to keep kuman because otherwise you have to pay him his salary that we don't have any money is there not on the uh a release clause of this contract that when the new president comes in he could leave i think the same thing happened with set the end that uh bartomeu put it there i think that's in there i'm not 100 i think when he the presentation he said it's a one-year contract one new extension for the new president we all knew the election would be next year but then you know got called earlier of course but i don't know if you know about that i just want to throw that in there but if we have to pay i'm not sure i haven't uh to be fair from now all the information that i have is that if kuman doesn't continue next season we're gonna have to pay his salary there's so to me there's no close yeah and barcelona in a very tight position i don't know exactly how much kuman earns possibly three to five million or something like that yeah it's it's a considerable amount of money taking into account that you're going to have to sign another coach pay him whatever he wants to get and also we still haven't paid set the end they fired him and we still haven't paid him and now we're going to be talking about now firing command paying kuman and and we haven't stopped get another guy here that also earns around 5 million per season it's a difficult decision as i said at the beginning yeah you me you made some really good points there but and the main one the one i liked is we have to talk about the players we have to talk about the players at barcelona because no matter who the coach comes in if we're playing the same guys the same you know six guys that you mentioned that have been playing in all the european disasters then you know we're gonna we're gonna be in trouble basically um look i i i think i think we don't want to blame one individual for example like the main one that i think here that we we might all like have a question about that's a question for you blah blah blah well no no it's fair question i saw it alejandro i think look um sergio roberto certainly is not not having [Music] a good time he didn't have a good season neither he did in the last two three seasons and to me obviously roberto right now his situation in barcelona is very difficult i don't think he can continue because as a right back i don't think he's good enough he doesn't have this equilibrium he doesn't run into the space which at this moment with this this formation that we have is key to run into the space source doesn't fit in that position in the midfield i think this guy is completely out so at the end of the day sergio roberto doesn't fit in barcelona but i also think that a lot of people have been very unfair with sergio roberto not saying it because if his last games i completely agree he he he wasn't playing well but you what you're seeing sergio roberto as a third center back you have to understand that he's not going to do he's not going to let you know his first name i mean yeah exactly against ibiza i remember sergio roberto playing another another at home but we had like 80 possessions or whatever he did yeah yeah you know sergio roberto in la masia he was an attacking midfielder attacking midfielder not holding midfielder not a cantee style play attacking midfielder now they place him as a right pack as a center back obviously he's going to perform poorly and and yeah i understand the the kid doesn't fit in the club but i think people are too rough sometimes with the players and at least it's not my style to to criticize directly to a player and bash him because that doesn't help constructive criticism it does help but i leave that there anyways i think that barcelona need a proper right back need a pure uh right back that that can create this equilibrium that's good in defense that's good in attack emerson is a good option yeah i mean trust me i will travel i'm just about to bring that up yeah but yeah whilst the boys touch on emerson and then we'll speak a bit more about some other players but go ahead i i can i'm so worried that the portland mesa emerson you have to remember emerson in la liga right now with carvajal injured in my opinion he's the best right back in the league you look at his numbers look at his performances unbelievable i think he would provide so much competition like good competition of course with dust of course tess can play left back as well he's not getting too many minutes i think i'm just so worried that the portal will get an offer for him because i just uploaded a catchy video by maker in for him uh psg similar to him in europe that need a right back one emerson we have a good talent there's probably maybe it could be one of the bartenders good signings that can only kill my few fingers it could be i think we should you know take a risk on him we already paid nine million for him people are his attention right now it's like 30 million nine million for him i think he'd be a great signing again provide cover for death and of course that could be a way for roberto to leave i think for me i'll kind of remember quickly before you ask your next question the roberto for me he's a very good versatile player if you have injury crisis you can put him in anywhere for me i've been watching birthday long enough i've seen him play in every single position on the pitch except for striker and goalkeeper i think he's very versatile he was one of my favorite players back in 2016 to the 15. you know that lamacia played that ricky push kind of player at the time but he has no place in the squad for me i think his performances this season have been absolutely dreadful and the only reason why he's here and i'll say it again it's because he scored that goal against psg i think if he hasn't scored that goal against pg you're left back in 2018. believe me believe me that's that's nonsense what you just said that that is nonsense i mean i mean listen listen listen listen neither you or me are our football coach or professional football coach or earn 5 million per year for talking our football anyways what i want to say is the fact that that sergio roberto as you said is a very versatile player that's why coaches want him in the squad because he's just a single week though but yeah but he doesn't start every single day we have a champions league world if we have a chance to find out tomorrow i promise you coleman will start him station will start him alberto will start him guess what guess why because there's no other person that's that that can play in that position better than him or at least that's what they think okay that's what they think yeah yeah no but yeah in in in the past in the past but death this season though we have a right back now oh yeah this is not ready for the big game if we were to file tomorrow roberto starting at right way back right center back right midfield right striker i don't care but how does that work what i have to disagree with you is that people think that just because he scored the six goals against pc we we keep him in the squad that's nonsense nobody nobody does that nobody does that the coaches see him as a very versatile player the problem is that he's been he's been uh playing in positions as like a backup and and as it's a backup that doesn't fit every position it's like if you have a player that's good in every position no it's okay that can work in every position but it's not really good in any position that's the problem barcelona need a renovation and need new players that can fit nicely in certain positions not one player that can play 10 positions it makes no sense never master any of these positions and that's what's happening i agree let me answer that question then pablo can answer ask his next question we replaced the graves right back in the game in danny albus with roberto lewis freaky told us for one season we're gonna keep her bird we couldn't find the right right back we wanted and it's been five years he's still playing it right back of course he versus how right he can go left center back whatever but if he were gonna uh his main position is a right back his feet card is right back his her belly is as a right back at the right position he is not good enough going forward he's great as of course as you just said thomas he was an attacking midfielder you know why he has good crosses it's good going forward and can't defend as a right back he should not be at the club anymore and i said that goal about psg because i believe that in 2018 when we have the opportunity to sell him to bishop city if he didn't score the goal against psg if he wasn't the fourth captain i think bart's may would have taken the offer but because you know he's this kid from la matia he goes it's all over you have to remember like you go to barcelona museum that pg goes all over the place and yeah in the next round we lost three notes juventus anyways that's i think that's i think that's one of the main reasons not like not main reason that we rephrase that it's one of the small reasons why they kept it that's all i'm saying and i think if like i said he didn't score that goal i think he would we would have sold him when city offered him that us that money a few windows ago yeah he now he has gained himself like an almost an untouchable reputation at the club like he can't be sold because he's
