Can Harry Kane Recognise These ICONIC Bayern München Goals?
Harry Kane tries to identify iconic Bayern München Champions League goals from commentary alone
UEFA tests Harry Kane by asking him to recognise classic Bayern München Champions League goals from commentary clips, then he reflects on several key moments of his own. Kane discusses the pressure and expectation at Bayern, some of his favourite goals and assists, and says the team must be more clinical in big European knockout ties.
- He enjoys the expectation and pressure at Bayern and wants more Champions League moments and goals — He says he was riding high after his first Champions League goal at the Allianz and that Bayern are expected to win every season.
- The goal he identifies against Atalanta is one of his favourites and technically at the highest level — He says it sums up his game: receiving under pressure, turning and finishing a difficult chance into the far corner.
- His assist for Luis Díaz away to PSG is one of the best assists of his career — He says Bayern were 5-3 down away in a Champions League semi-final, and he produced a half-turn quarterback-style pass that Díaz turned into a high-level finish.
- His goal against PSG came too late, and if it had been five or ten minutes earlier Bayern might have had a chance to turn it around — He says there were only a couple of minutes left, so Bayern ran out of time.
- Bayern must be more clinical in big Champions League knockout moments, and that is the team's next step — He says games against top teams come down to fine details, and PSG were more clinical in those details and won the semi-final.

Great commentary. >> Great commentary. >> I'm pretty [music] sure I know it. >> From a technical point of view, was that the highest highest level? >> [music] >> And Harry Kane has the chance here to restore Bayern's two-goal advantage. >> [music] >> Big moment, this. >> [music] >> And into the net from Harry Kane. It's a brilliant penalty. >> [music] >> I'm pretty sure I know it. I'm pretty sure I know it. Is it [music] my penalty with Man United? >> No. >> Yes. I don't know. That one just popped into my head. When I heard the Allianz, when I heard the music after and everything, then I was pretty sure it was Man United. I've loved every every minute of it. I've loved the expectation, the pressure of being here. Uh, the expectation to win every season, and yeah, that from that first goal I I think I was just kind of riding high. I'd just moved in Champions League at the Allianz. Still more moments that I want to achieve, and more goals that I want to achieve, and you know, the Champions League is definitely one of those. >> Coman on the move. At the back, it's Kane! Two-nil to Bayern Munich. Harry Kane missed one big chance at the back post in the first half. If he gets two, he's not going to miss both of them. >> Oh, it's tough. I missed the boot chance at the back post. And then scored one at the back post. >> Oh. Salt it. >> Yes. I remember it, yeah. Salt it. Corner. I'm on the back post, comes over left-foot volley. >> Son on the switch. >> [music] >> Okay. Not a lot of space to work with here, but he's done so well. It's Kane! Oh, it's exceptional! Incredible from Kane. >> I think I know it cuz Stahli passed through the ball at Atlanta. Yeah. Yeah. I I don't think Stahli's giving me many assists. I hope he's watching. It's one of my favorite goals, to be honest. I think I guess this play is a lot of my game in in one moment of the you know, receiving under pressure and turning and and then the finish itself. It was kind of just a bit underneath me. I had to kind of dig it out and see it go into that far corner. I think this goal was technically from a technical point of view was at the highest highest level and I think one of my favorites for sure. >> [music] >> Here's Kane. Kane looking for Luis Diaz. What a ball! Brilliant control! LUIS DIAZ! OH, INCREDIBLE! >> GREAT COMMENTARY. [music] GREAT COMMENTARY. That's got to be uh PSG away. Yeah, actually one of my best assists of my career, I think. Just the situation there. Being 5-3 down away from home, Champions League semi-final. Obviously getting on the half turn there in the middle of the pitch and see Lucho making a run from [music] the middle and the ball had to kind of just almost like a quarterback pass a little bit. Just had to be kind of drifted in and just and kind of come down at the right speed. I mean, in the end Lucho does incredible. The the finish makes the assist because the touch and the the shimmy and finish was yeah, at the highest highest level as well. >> Davies. Kane. KANE SCORES! >> [music] >> MAYBE TOO LATE. >> It was too [music] late, unfortunately. That's PSG in the in the second semi-final. It was just too late, to be honest. It was a nice goal, great great finish. If that was 5, maybe 10 minutes earlier, I think we might have had a chance to to try and turn it around, but it was literally a couple minutes to go, and yeah, just run out of time. When you go toe-to-toe with these teams, it's going to come down to the finest details, and those details Paris, you know, ended up being more clinical and then [music] and winning the semi-final, so I'm sure we're going to come up against rather them or some of the other big teams in the Champions League. There's no doubt in big quarter-final, semi-finals, finals, so we're going to [music] have to be ready for that. We're going to have to be clinical in those moments. Yeah, that's I think that's the next step that we have to take as a team. >> [music]
