hey everybody all right we are in the live stream right now thanks for everybody even getting ready to be in here so I know I started a little bit late and that's okay but that's because I was looking to try to get some uh some things up here on the presentation but instead that's not happening but that's okay we're still good so there was uh yeah there was an extra media to be added here so for example I had uh just sorry a little cough there so yeah as far as what was prepared uh there was yeah talk all about uh what is uh uh what is on the horizon which is Barcelona versus Brucey Dortmund coming up in just about 23 minutes of time so let's get the starting lineups and let's talk about those um if anybody has any questions we're going to jump into that stuff but yeah I'm still working on getting some some graphics and stuff up here so again changes hopefully for the new year are very much on the horizon and uh absix say hello to you uh just so to remind everybody to check up on big up uh yeah just Mig grade over and yeah just about 15 minutes time okay so what's going on today we got levandowski Rafia Almo Lin Mall starting with Samuel hello cheers cheers to you uh with pedri and casido kund kubar Nigo Martinez and Bal so what that tells you right up at the at the start is that uh with inaka regardless of who was starting on the weekend hanzi flick is going with his best 11 this is the best 11 that Barcelona has this is the best opportunity they have to win the against BR Dortmund remember they've got the three matches against buia Dortmund and Benfica and Atlanta and they need basically four points from those three matches to make the top eight which means they don't have to do that that silly playoff and all those different things which is just a really good sign for Barcelona to be in that position to be able to um yeah to qualify directly so it would be a big win in Germany on the road today that would be awesome we'll see what happens um but hanzi flick is regardless of who started on the weekend he's going with that full group some questions from the starting lineup if there are any is really just the fitness of Danny Elmo he didn't look fully fit also lost a tooth on the weekend so will he be fit enough and will he look himself in this match the other big note from the bench is that Ronald djo has returned to the lineup he's been given the full medical green light so maybe late in the game with 10 minutes to spare if Barcelona was hanging on to a narrow lead maybe we do see Ronda raho so that is the confirmation that he has fully fit been given to green light and this is a big match for him to be thrown into but he's an experienced player and he's one of the captains so I wouldn't be that surprised that we saw Rondo late on in this match jumping in there's also Gabby Fon Tores Pao Thor fine Lopez P Victor Frankie D young Eric Garcia we haven't seen chzn yet and then Hector and jaran Martin as well um yeah he actually lost a tooth hopefully he can play I don't know I mean yeah he's in the starting lineup uh if they did catch the tooth again they can put it back in um the true Messiah hey Dan did you get to see the youth league game today yes I did and let's talk about it so I did see that I did watch that match today uh yeah and it was actually a pretty exciting game so the my notes from that game is that yeah I Barcelona went down twice in the game and they came back not only twice to to get the 22 but then they got the go-ahead goal and they came in the 65th minute and then laid on in what is it 82nd minute right so it was the two center backs in land F who those who follow the Mia have heard that name before let me just find you L foray I'll show a little picture of him oh let me go to my I know exactly I'm going to show a picture of him uh um [Music] so let's see we want we want the shorts uh yeah so land for a got one of the goals there um well first let's start with um vanile [Music] so to the bio and then we're going to do a little bit of uh when did I do lendry foray um he was actually pretty quick to the top I feel like and then Saka and then lond foray is right there okay so just to talk about these players a little bit here let me let me share my screen to give you far there's um okay so yeah so land far um he is a what is he 17 years old 17y old he plays right back but he played as a center back in this game um which I don't know if what his position is going to be in the long run l f but what I do know is at that level at least as a 17-year-old playing at again a a much smaller level he can play as a center back and he he's very much a reactive Center back that's why I think he does well at right back as well uh he's been making appearances some appearan with bar atletic but mainly plays with the 9s and he's the one who got the equalizer goal so he's the one that you know I definitely come out of saying hey there was some pretty exciting stuff there uh and then Leos Saka so let's give you a look at Leo Saka Leo Saka a 16-year-old uh maldovan Center back so he is left footed and he is the one who had the game winner it was an 82nd minute again so yeah I mean big moment for him to get that goal and I don't know where he is on the center back dep chart in the club in terms of does he have a higher ceiling than Andre quena I'm not sure uh does he have a higher ceiling well not the talk warc of course but yeah he's a left footed Center back um and yeah I think he had a pretty good match too he he was fouled late in the game to put the game away um both he and F did pick up yellows but I think he was more of a vote of confidence for them that they were not subbed out they played as center backs through the rest of that match with the yellows both of them picking him up in the first half as well so playing almost 90 minutes well 65 minutes for pay and well almost 70 for Saka with those yellow cards so that was yeah that was good to see and then finally the gentleman who scored the galazo I Say gentleman but he's I think he's 18 years old or 17 or 18 uh would be Yan ver you need to see John Vil there he is so yeah between Yan Villi and Saka and far I think there were some players that stood out but as far as the other players that I want to mention from this match um Shane clert played as the 10 but he was given quite a task late in the game he came on at halftime for Juan Hernandez and I think in general Bru and Dortmund just they were a little bigger they had a bit more physicality and so I think both Juan Hernandez is the false nine in the first half and then Shane cler was to be the nine as well both of those guys probably operate best as Wingers anyway um but yeah and it was Shane cl's debut so I it was interesting to see both those guys who are I'd say probably winners uh Wingers winners hopefully winners but Wingers at the the next level um so having them play a position didn't really bring the best out of them again Bru Dortmund which just they were a little bigger a little bit more physical but Barcelona I think were technically better in the game especially in the second half when they got that second goal when it was 22 they basically dominated the rest of the game um and bruy dortman kind of ran out of ideas and they felt like they ran out of gas too um hre Toren who is a Winger he played as the left back and he's much more of a pushforward left back and get up and down I'm I'm interested about him because I don't know where he sits on the depth chart or what his ceiling is but I liked what I saw from him I think he's a really quick change of Direction and uh yeah yeah I'm really interested to see what he turns into or where the club sees him I think he's 17 now so you know maybe he doesn't have the highest ceiling but yeah I'm interested to see what HFR thoret has I haven't actually made a lamaso profile on him which does leave me to the guy that I Come Away with the most impressed by in that match which Luis you said it um Keem junette he was the best player on the field I think for both teams he just he has a technical skill that is first team ready if you want to call it that whatever it is um he kind of belongs at the highest level in terms of yeah his tactical skill but it's kind of his defensive stuff and all that other stuff um that we're kind of waiting on and he also plays as I had in the YouTube video a few weeks ago he plays as the number 10 position which Barcelona just have too many of those they're waiting to get G GMO a shot in the first team as well um so yeah hard to hard to say about that only other Academy news I have is that Danny read guys I am planning on doing like an actual big big video on him like a you know not just a Lamas profile which I did earlier uh last year uh but yeah in the spring but I'm actually planning on doing like a full video on him because as far as Wingers at Barcelona um I think they could use any Wingers they can get on the bench for that uh and a Winger position that he's transitioned to and Tony Fernandez should be back soon but he's also only 16 years old so it's hard to put a lot on him uh as far as will I be talking about the femin again um yes James I do plan on doing a femin update as well um during the holiday season again all these things kind of pile up on me there winds up being a lot of matches and a lot of content and as I I kind of showed you I'm working on updating a few things behind the scenes here so you know look out for there's there's new thumbnails coming there's um there's again different looks to the merch coming there is a lot of different uh aspects that that I'm trying to add and improve uh including Graphics to this which are prepared made I made Graphics that were going to come across the the bottom of the screen and to to border me and to have all this cool stuff um as I said I already showed you that I already had it was it was all ready to go but it was uh I said it was all ready to go but I wasn't able to there there you go so this is what we were this is what we today uh except putting myself in there was more difficult for me than the streaming platform low in the time that I had so had lineups prepared and all that stuff uh so all right speaking of we've got about eight minutes before it's kind of time to jump over to Big up and all that stuff reminder join me on big up that would be a uh big help a reminder there okay and so names that are familiar that we know um gassi is up top he is the number nine for bruy Dortmund he's the danger man but gens on that left wing is a guy kind of that makes things happen so gens I think is a fair match up for kundai he's not the most difficult or most challenging Winger that he's face but G's had a good season uh he's really quick and difficult to kind of hold down for 90 minutes right so it's like when gon's moments come especially on that Counterattack I think that's where he could be really dangerous so Barcelo is going to have to yeah give a focus to him gioa has not started much this season uh even when he's been fit which he's been more fit this season than last season um NY saheen the former Brucey Dortmund player and he also played for nberg and somebody else uh anyway okay so with uh oh and Madrid of course thanks so giena gets this rare start for Brucey Dortmund today uh duranville well I I think the as far as the lineups that we've been seeing donzilla is likely G to be on the wing with Rana in a more defense uh more Midfield position Ru Dortmund also I think with Felix Nea and sabitzer so they're probably going to play in a bit of a double pivot but I don't know I I'm sabitzer yes obviously when he from ARB liick to Bayern Munich and Bruce dartman he's made all the rounds when it comes to the big German sides but as far as savater I think that's a player that Barcelona speed wise can attack through the middle a little bit um you can overwhelm him numerically and it's going to be a lot on Nea to have the legs to kind of break everything up and and be that destroyer and kind of be that that number eight uh Ryerson Eman slach and rinon bani at the back for Brucey dortman so those are all I think all names that many might know um as far as Ramy Ben saani he was one of their uh signings last season from Bru Dortmund I mean from BR m back I should say um so yeah I guess no surprises that is probably their first choice backline that I've seen a lot um they then they have Danielle Malin on the bench to come off and create some havoc and aside from that I mean Kem adami is the other one pascal gross is a uh a longtime defensive midfielder to come in to try to close the game out and then Yan Coto who we've seen at Jona in the past on loan he's that Brazilian you want to say fullback but let's call him a Winger that's kind of what he is so he's a Winger he can add a little bit of uh a little bit of chaos to the match and then the rest of the players there really young there's an American Cole Campbell 18-year-old from Houston Texans um so did play for the Icelandic U7 team jumped over to the US u19s player who was born in uh Houston and was discovered I guess for the uh Atlanta United us side but then he went to Iceland to um to continue his life s well starting at age8 um so yes uh his family kind of bounced around a bit his dad is in Pharmaceuticals interesting okay so that's how that all happen that's how they get there so he is on the bench number 37 uh then there's some other uh young players who play either for Brucey dortmund's second team down in the third division of Germany or again like a Cole Campbell they're playing for or would be playing for the 9s on other occasions uh Marcel lka as well is the backup goalkeeper and I didn't mention the actual goalkeeper that is Gregor kobal uh and cobal I'm not entirely sold on him like he's had some okay matches he's decent with the ball at his feet he came up in the hoffenheim system as they were they were trying some new things uh and it was uh why why am I forgetting the name now the um the name of the RP liic coach and then begin the J uh Julian noggles right so his noggles I believe was coming up with the hoffenheim um right when he transitioned into being his coaching uh he was trying some pretty fun stuff there in the academy and that's where go uh kobal kind of came up in and he winds up having um he's pretty good with the ball to his feet but I don't know if he's a conate shot stopper uh he's been at Bruce dortman now for a few years and been their starter but yeah again I've never really been sold on him as far as some of the news here for um yeah I mean then Robert leowski of course used to play for bruer Dortmund there's another little thing there um and and then he is the top scorer by the way leowski two in the Champions League with seven goals had braces against both red star and breast in the last two games out and then uh Danny Elmo and Rafia also scored in those matches let me see so what's your preferred lineup for this game and what do you think is barca's uh best lineup Victor I think the one that hanzi flick is starting is their best lineup leandi Rafia Almo Lin M kedo pedri Bal niiko Martinez kuari kund nakaki Pena right now that is the best 11 the baron can go for the only question I have if you want to call it that is Almo didn't look fit on the weekend he starts again now and I think fortunately because it winded up being a blowout late in that game on the weekend I think hzi flick was able to rotate which is kind of helpful um what am I talking about blowout wasn't a blowout it wind up being a draw um wasn't a blowout it was a draw two two draw um but he still made the rotations yeah I said it wasn't a blowout um it wound up being uh yeah late rotations on in the game basically when did they come in in the 74th minute so a little bit of rest for levandowski and pedre coming in the 74th minute against Bry Dortmund um but yeah I think this is the best 11 that hanzi flick could go with um I'm just trying to see if I have the right feed going uh yes I do okay I will be jumping uh why not do a watch along um R Stan I am doing a watch along I over on big up I get to use I know it's one more click but if you click on this link right here you can join me on big up because I do the tactics board over there and I have the score bug going over there so I have things that I don't have access to over here or I don't have access to just yet over here so join me on big up again I have a partnership with them and that is where the watch along is so I understand people want the watch Along on YouTube I understand that would give me higher views all that different stuff but join me on big up and we can do that over there um and then James I just want to say I appreciate you being the best FC Barcelona media out there for English speakers you put in a lot of work and excellent what you do much love brother yeah thank you James um for the kind words so yeah I think this is a huge matchup but one that Barcelona can certainly you know this is not necessarily the Dortmund side on paper that I have feared in the past as far as the lineup I'm not saying that Barcelona should not take them seriously because they are obviously this is a huge match um it yeah it doesn't get any bigger for uh for Barcelona but in terms of especially in the standex because if they beat Dortmund today again they basically have qualified and they're in the uh and they they they're moving on to the the next round um and as far as the Bundesliga goes where do they sit in the Bundesliga table uh Bayern is unsurprisingly on top with the uh 33 points frankfurt's having a good season lusen behind too many draws for lcus they've only lost once but and Byron hasn't lost at all ARB leig wburg and then Dortmund is sitting in six tied on on 21 points with wolburg in fifth and fryberg in seventh with stutgart behind I think stutgart is is they've really figured themselves out but stokart uh I think they're kind of one of those teams that is suffering due to playing in the Champions League and playing in the Bundesliga it's a lot of matches for a stook guard Squad that isn't really that deep with a squad like they're putting a lot on that midfielder that Barcelona was linked with and Angelo Steeler but but stugart was able to keep them for you know for good reason so um yeah Stuart worked hard to to make sure they had his signature uh and they they did not lose him to to another place um I'm going to start my stream over on big up so again I just ask everyone very kindly to head over there and help me out over there and it is a big help okay so we are live over on big up so again thanks so much for everybody joining this uh let me end with a question from Kevo Dan who do you see as the favorite to win the Champions League at the moment I think my favorite is I mean it's not my who I think my favorite is the favorite is Liverpool they're the only team that's won all six Liverpool are playing well and I think they have the horses to win the the Champions League I think they're the favorite at the moment and then I think the other one you have to look out for I think Inter Milan I just looking at them play this season you get a sense that I don't know there's something about them this year that Milan look good for me in Europe I think they've got the the depth that they finally need they're just a solid Squad so I think in order I would say Liverpool and then Inter Milan then let's go Barcelona then third I don't know Barcelona I mean they're they're the one leading the league of table I don't know um of course Real Madrid I mean on Vibes are they favorite to win sure but I have to scroll down all the way to 18th to see them in the Champions League so um two Messiah you can chat on big up yeah you just have to just it's free you can just make a um chat should be open um yeah you just have to make an account it's free and then you can log in there and make
