hey we are live here on YouTube getting started for the Barcelona versus mayorca preview show so first I want to say hello to everybody who's in here and we'll be getting a few more as we go along okay so first things first hey Oriel and hey M uh as again we're getting started here I think there is definitely conern this is a must-win game fora that is definitely true here but hey let's dive right into the the starting lineup right yeah we're 30 minutes away from kickoff uh remember I'll put this in the chat here that we're going to be doing this over on big up then at 3 pm so there we go so yeah levandowski doesn't start a match for the first time this season which is something it's also that this is a match that he did not start last season as well which again another interesting thing to note uh Hey to TH or this yeah this there you go yeah so fa and Tores starts and this becomes must-win for Barcelona because they are only up by one against Real Madrid in the uh in the table with now Real Madrid having their game in hand so Barcelona by dropping points to uh well because when I had recorded that uh that being the match review Real Madrid hadn't won yet then they went off and beat adaf in interesting circumstances and now again with that game in hand they find themselves down just one in the in the table U my my feed here is not really working um okay uh shaper I'm more afraid of this match than a Dortmund match well it's funny because things kind of flipped right it was that Barcelona started the Champions League with that lost to Monaco and then things became a little more uh you know a little more up in the air in the Champions League but now Barcelona taken care of business in the Champions League in ways they have not been doing in a Liga over the last month so now in the Champions League they're in a better position than they are in La Liga but I'll say La Liga being the marathon that it is things in La Liga could absolutely flip very very quickly but in the case of uh the Champions League like one another two poor little results that a row like you know losing Dortmund then losing a second match can take you out of the top eight like that's how quickly it is like Champions League you really got to keep Pace um and in Liga it it again it's a marathon Real Madrid put themselves down a little bit early and they lost the head-to-head with with Barcelona and now Barcelona flipping this the the the what they it flipping the switch I guess in the opposite direction and now Real Madrid or I mean they really haven't uh they haven't really uh lost any games they just just they just draw Real Madrid take some draws soorry my my uh my ESPN feed is just it's not working so I might have to even like put that on my cell phone I'm not sure what I'm going to do here um maybe they got to figure that that stuff out there uh Z Meister how you doing uh I am calm we will win by a few goals easy match for us tonight you know it is interesting you say that though because mayorca have done a good job this season every time I watch them they know how to get points so I wouldn't even say that's I don't know if it's going to a win more that it could be a draw uh it's at mayorca which is a tougher place to play um well I don't have that many people in their Stadium but meor can be a tough place to play yeah right now they're six so Athletic Club um because they have that game in hand over Vale have jumped over Vale and they leag table to be fourth right now and then myor is sitting in sixth though they're in the they're in the other European spot in the lia on the 24 points uh and they ALS so have won the last two so mayorca is in a pretty good spot Jared good point the last time that mayorca played Barcelona they over one their pitch and it was a tough match zme they have but looking at the starting lineup and having Almo and line start matters a lot yeah we're about to get to the starting lineup here um so first let's do the mayorca starting lineup real quick um not say there's no surprises there but the uh Pao MAFO that's the name people know um valent has been a main stay as a center back since they got they got popped up um Oriel yeah give a like to help the channel That would be a big help to get get people looking more at this um Rola the other Center back he's very very experience Juan Mo moika people know that I I do enjoy um moika quite a bit I think he's pretty pretty fast pretty good um at causing some danger defensively not the best but you know he's pretty much a Winger um Samu in the middle uh Sergi dardir I think is one of those reasons why mayorca I mean he was a great pickup for them dard is you know he's one of those La Liga players of this generation that I I enjoy and I think he uh I appreciate him um uh Valeri is a younger not younger player I guess he's like a Winger that's I called him younger a while ago but he's one of the only ones like from mayr Academy because most of their talent gets gets piped at at uh younger ages and so have to sign to to get better um and then Miki is the guy up top to to watch to worry about obviously a big guy that's going to be giving uh enigo Martinez and P Bari not even headaches just he's gonna be annoying because he is annoying that's just kind of what he is um okay and then for Barcelona let's get into their starting lineup today uh there's Fen Torres starting up top for leowski as I said before levandowski is not starting his first match this season he was the only player to start all 20 games of the season so far so now he finally gets a rotation and arrest which I mean does make sense he's 36 years old and Saturday was the last match and now it's Tuesday so pretty quick turnar around honestly and Fen Torres is finally healthy again so Fen Torres gets the start and then you have Rafia and linal Lin Mall back in the starting lineup and Danny Elmo also back in the starting lineup so he was out of that game on Saturday because he wasn't fit so he wasn't even Dylan says or maybe he was 5 minutes late to training uh yeah maybe but I I don't think so I think this is a fair rotation uh and then Elmo does start as again and I think zme to your original point I think if there's one thing that calms me about this match it would be that Almo and L M start together for the first time since results kind of went sideways because remember side the results to go poly when luminal went down and he was out a few weeks and then even when he with him coming back he and Elmo have not started yet together so Elmo and luminium mall are the two best creators for Barcelona and hanzi flick system of risk and reward we'll talk about that again that along the backline we know the risk and reward conversation we can have uh and it is some when we look at the last few matches it is just some mistakes that led to to goals right the kundai mistake two matches ago and I would say that Fort made a mistake in that last match out uh and the mistake to allow the the attacker to get inside shoulder of him and then he was in on goal um and then you have pedri and cido starting as the defensive midfielders today and as I said on Saturday I feel like missing casido was a thing it's it's no disrespect to pedri and Gabby obviously at all like I think pedri and Gabby are are you know the reason they were the Golden Boy winners uh and they the reason they took home that award because between penry and gby I think they were still working on that figuring out what their what their chemistry was going to be um and I think kedo has proved to be as I said like undroppable I think he's been so essential it's so crazy to me to say that when I went through and talked about the even undroppable but players that this 11 absolutely needs I mean just looking at that 11 right now it is basically if they want a good result I think you talk about kubar and Theo Martinez pretty quickly and they've been undroppable not that they could be rotated for anybody either because raho is still out and likely to come back in the next two weeks and then christenson's out till January so there really is like there there's no one to come in for those two and then You' have to see if kundai over and that has not been something that hanzi flake has done he's actually had kundai just playing right back and then Hector Fort or Gerard Martin on the left side being the two rotation pieces Bal day it's starting again so it seems like yeah it really just was as bad as we thought it was where he just got hit in the throat couldn't breathe I'm worried that he picked up a concussion or something because he was throwing up but I mean maybe it was just like a response um ESPN is showing this graphic that is absolutely insane y in the back in the Barcelona matches in the LI of this season that linium all started they're 11 and0 and in the matches that he did not start they're 01 and three which is yeah pretty crazy um if everybody who's in here could you if you could give it a this stream a like that would be very very appreciated um there was a little bit of a bump when people liked it last time so uh yeah if you give a like that would be greatly appreciated um just because the yeah I don't know YouTube's I don't know what YouTube's up to or doing but they're uh they're promoting some different channels and they're they're boosting down a few other channels so my channel is is one that I've noticed of the last week has definitely been hit with some uh some rough stuff um Jared there has to be more to that graphic than what is being shown uh just me you mean uh yeah totally agree um I gotta I'm I'm I'm working on that stuff to be honest with you where we're working on it so I will uh I'll be I'll be putting stuff up uh and streaming this a little bit better uh in uh in future weeks so I am working on that for the for the holidays hopefully in the New Year I'll have some more stuff so good point Jared that uh yeah I need some more Graphics I need some more going on um so yeah so we still got about 15 minutes before we're going to head over to Big up um yeah thanks for the thanks for the likes there again that is helpful to get this to more people uh okay and then that's again we're all going to be migrating to Big up at 3M that's what we're going to be doing here uh okay so then the rest of that starting lineup Bal as I said does get the start between NG Martinez kuari and kund and inaka so I think on paper levandowski is the rotation piece and this is the starting I mean this is the best 10 behind him not lendas I mean but like behind fa and Torres so rafini luminal Almo pedri casido Bal Niko Martinez kuari kund Pena that has been the formula this season for Barcelona to get results and positive results so I think that that's a fair 11 I think we have we should have fairly have expectations like there's been a lot of rotations lately and again it's no disrespect to Hector Fort and jar Martin and to the rest of that bench that include fery Lopez starting a few of those matches as well um but yeah but for Barcelona now they have the option of bringing Off the Bench gobby levandowski ferine Papo toor I mean does Frankie D young change a match um Oro let's see uh I've seen Barca channels like Barca talk and Barca news grow very fast because they post news uh yeah I don't really post news either that's not really I'm not in the I'm not in the business of breaking news um it also a quick turnaround like you really got to get that stuff out uh very quickly but yeah I mean I think if people get more on me about the top five you know news of the week or news of the day I think to make something out of a story or just to get into the weeds here to make something out of nothing is not I don't know that's just not my style um I I think we're so reactive and sports is hourly right and it's not like day by day so for me I really take the time to write my scripts out and that's why when I do something special like I did about the number 10 thing it's it just takes a long time to to make that content and to again do all the research and that's why even my laasia stuff I don't I do those every like six months because because it takes watching games it takes understanding which players over the course of multiple games are having good seasons are having rough Seasons or are doing this well not doing that well so I you know I yeah I could be doing more stuff but as I said I am looking in the new year to really streamline a bunch of my stuff uh as I said like this is actually a theola koola shirt uh that I just got from the merch store um I've been doing a few things in the merch store as well so hopefully again there is more exciting stuff to be happening here on the channel on Horizon and that will lead to growth and all those different things so again I appreciate everybody who's in here continue to give me a like that would be helpful uh just for this stream here today but yeah so let's talk a little bit even about that mayorca bench they've got some interesting pieces on their bench too so they have their veteran Danny Rodriguez who's been with them for a while now um not that Danny Rodriguez not the 9 Barcelona Winger Danny Rodriguez another the Elder Danny Rodriguez mat Morty the former Barcelona right back who I was so high back in the day again people who' been following me since yeah mat was was a Barcelona player when I started this podcast uh almost eight years ago so Matta Mory he is yeah right back he played for bruy Dortmund for a little bit there um I really was so high on him I he's one of those examples where I think that injuries kind of derailed him because Mato Mor at 17 I was saying hey that kid is the future Barcelona right back position he's the guy uh then he I believe he had an ACL tear or maybe he broke his leg one of the two he had some kind of major injury kept him out almost a whole year and then it was kind of start and stop and then he left for Dortmund when he was I think he was 17 when he left for Dortmund then yeah so this is like when he was a U6 yeah then he left for Dortmund at like 17 18 and it he got some appearances for Dortmund I think that helped his development he stayed a little healthier but also would go down at times so mat Morty has had uh good and bad moments um the myor the mayorca mascot by the way is being absolutely uh a menace uh it's the devil so it's he's being absolutely Menace um he's now attacking the mayorca Rondo too so uh he was attacking the Barcelona players earlier I I'm I'm liking this I know people I know what do y'all think about these mascots I know we're this is a non secador we're we're going and talking about mascots I will talk about F and Tores and rinia and all that stuff in a second um but I don't know the mascot stuff is is I I I do like it I think the NBA in the US year has a fine line of of kind of incorporating mascots and making them fun and making them part of something without kind of overlapping with what's happening on the court and kind of you know I I think that it's not too silly um and I think being silly sometimes just it we need that and uh yeah so I'm I'm very Pro mascot H every team having a mascot like Barcelona having cat I think I'm I'm excited about cat I'll tell you that for uh maybe from not for for Christmas but for my birthday I know that they're going to be selling merch on him and like a little Plush Version of cat is is likely going to be added to the to the uh not the gallery wall but to the uh um you know what I'm saying to to the whole setup um yeah what else what else would there be today so um did I see the Tottenham one with the goal celebration I did the uh the Tottenham mascot let me let me share my screen um so they have yeah there's chirpy Lily and and and Ralph but those mascots aren't uh yeah so for people who who don't know what we're talking about as far as the mascot for Tottenham let me let me just share my screen so so there we go um this is the mascot we're talking about uh tpy for Tottenham going absolutely Bonkers so yeah so that's that's quite a bit of fun there um yeah yeah but I'm I'm Pro I'm Pro the mascot thing I like it I like that it's happening um let's see what else we have here um sheeper I feel if we win today we will win Betis and have a good match up against Dortmund if we lose today we lose Bettis and Dortmund that's why I'm concerned about today more than the champion League um I don't know uh I mean Dortmund again is already it's like n 8 days away so things can change in in eight days um if we put the game to bed we must rotate refia the gu's been playing every minute plus the international Break um I do feel like pador I uh vdar I do feel like he is fatigued like I think in that last mat against Los palas the what I did note was that I think both lfia Rafia and levandowski were not as clinical as they usually are and I do honestly believe that that fatigue has a role to play between AIA and and levandowski uh more than more than I think the rest of the squad I think fatigue was kind of is kind of gotten in the leg so yes Rafia if you can you rotate him who you take out for him I mean I guess yeah it would be because he's on the left wing today I think you do rotate out fine Lopez but can you force Almo and linal into 90 minutes um I think hanzi F's got a tough thing I think he's going to ask to ask he's going to have to ask 90 minutes out of fen Torres and hope that nobody along that backline needs to be subbed out because I think all five of The Well Caso can go 90 okay so I take that back KOB Costo can go 90 today because he was just suspended against those pal so he got to arrest whether he woned or not so I think Costo goes 90 today for sure unless he picks up a yellow card a little bit too early and then you get pedri should be rotated hopefully out for Gabby likely Danny ELO I would hope he gets rotated for Pablo Thor at some point when the match we'd hope it's wrapped up fine Lopez comes on for for Rafia and then on that right side you give luminium all you know maybe go 75 and then you take out and then you take out him for for pal Victor I think that is kind of the rotation that I'd like to see um those are the subs that I would make I'm telling you now that I'd make those subs and then leowski you rot him for fair and Torres so there's your fifth sub so there you go so that would be the five Subs I would make hopefully the back line can stay fit and is fine doesn't no one get need to get substituted out today and you make those other five changes because again I think kadoo can go to 90 today and you don't worry about it um let me see shner if I swear if faren Torres had a has a good game in scores he will win me over as a Barta fan I will forget the other stuff he does for real um I don't know it's it's been a tough road for faren Torres I think Fen Tes needs a new location as far as team I think he needs a change of scenery I think he needs a place where he can be a starter and he's always in his career when he gets minutes and builds consistency you know but he's been a rotation piece for Barcelona and he'll never not be a rotation piece now for Barcelona he's just not of the level to be a starter anymore and not even anymore he's what what is it what is he 24 right now I think F Tores turned 24 this year um yeah he's 24 so at 24 you know fent tor should be a starter somewhere and you know I don't know I I I don't say I wouldn't say this is the last year for him I think it's the last year for anati unfortunately um but I don't think it's last year for f Torres um but I don't know I think it's time for him to look somewhere else Sean barcza should look to sell ferine in the summer to raise funds due to having ghee and rafini to replace Elmo if needed um Sean I would not give it to ferine Lopez remember he is still 20 years old or did he just turn yeah he he's 20 years old so I think there's still even a higher level to go fo
