Uh now I am of course joined by a man who won six Premier League titles during his time at Manchester City and the club of course still awaiting their sanctions after being found guilty of the majority of their 115 charges. Now reports this week suggested they would be given a points deduction big enough to relegate them and could face a further deduction to keep them in the championship for at least a season but that is yet to be confirmed with city's appeal against the guilty verdict still ongoing. Um, just ever so briefly, I know you listen, this it's going to be incredibly difficult um for for you as a player to talk about. I know you spoke with Adrian Dar, Stuart Pierce about it recently, so they've sort of covered every question. I'm just curious how how you feeling about it now. Yeah, it's the big elephant in the room that, you know, we're probably all going to be asked uh when we're doing interviews or whatever we're doing. Um, it doesn't look great. Let's not hide from the fact that, you know, they've been found guilty, but they're going through an appeal. Now as a player all I can say is that all we did is go out and play our best football as a team and that I I will defend the players for the rest of my life you know because I feel that what we did and what we achieved in that you know space of time was probably incredible and probably won't be done ever again but from the outside looking in it doesn't look great and we have to address that. Um, as I say, you've talked about it in great detail, so I'm not going to go over all ground. But one question I do have for you is I was going to talk tattoos a bit later because you've got lots of them. I'm a fan of tattoos. I got myself. >> Okay. But I I think I'm right in saying because they have talked about >> possibly taking back trophies and medals and all that nonsense, right? >> I think I'm right in saying on one of your legs you've got, is it four in a row? >> Four in a row. >> Tattooed. >> Tattooed. Right. If they take the medals away, you got a tattoo removal firm ready to take >> I'm probably going to have to do that bit. But um you look at the likes of all the great Man United squads today, you know, and they never managed to get four in a row. So there's only a select few of us that can say that we >> have that tattoo done. >> Yeah. Keep it on. You >> I I'll try and keep it on, but you know, hopefully we don't get that um get the things to Well, okay. Yeah. Have you by the way, you've got lot I was going to talk to you about your tats later on. Have you got more football ones? >> Uh I've got my faux so my left leg is full of just my journey in football. >> Okay, that's nice. Why the left one? You started on that >> because it I just stand on it. I never kick with it. So I didn't really need it. >> It's only just >> Yeah, only to stand on. I only use my right foot as >> anymore. Does it come or I mean room? I'm looking at it now. There's no room there. >> No, I'm getting way too old for for tattoos now. >> Your back? >> No, not on my back. >> Oh, you got your front. >> Uh yeah, my chest. Yeah. >> Why not? You better touch on your back, doesn't it? >> Can't see it. >> Yeah. No, I agree with that. Loads of people footballers have their backs done, right? >> Yeah, but I don't understand it for me. >> The pain would be horrific. There's the like the numbing creams and everything now that you can shove on. >> I'm glad you said that. Right. So, I I've had a few and only recently Benty who's covered in them said, "Oh, would you put the numbing cream on?" And I was like, "What?" >> No, 100% you've got to. >> He said, "How do you think us footballers have so many?" >> Yeah. What What are you going through pain for? >> This is it, right? >> Stupid >> numbing cream. >> Yeah. >> It's a secret. Have you seen in America there's people that like go into like a certain hospital and they're put >> and then they have like eight tattoos working on them? >> Yeah. Yeah. I I thought about that for my back, >> but then I thought I just can't be bothered to >> go through the pain when you wake up. It's not like it's not going to hurt when it wakes up like to sleep and everything like that. So, I just thought suck it off. >> A lot of footballers have tattoos now, right? >> A lot do. Yeah. >> Who's got the worst? When you look at them, you go, who on earth has drawn on you like that? Are there any footballers that have got just awful tattoos there? Come on, Carl. There are >> Leroy Sane. >> What's he got? What's >> a picture of him celebrating on his back >> himself? himself and it don't really look that great. I'm sorry, Leroy, if you're ever listening to this, mate. I'm so sorry because people are going to zoom in on it now, but I think he could say it could be done a little bit better. >> Wow. He's got a picture of himself. >> Yeah. Celebrating a goal. Uh Man City. I don't know who it was against. >> Yeah. >> But it doesn't look great. >> I'd so have a picture of myself. That's >> And having your picture of yourself on your back. >> It's a little bit Yeah, it's a little bit. >> Are you sure it's meant to be him? If it doesn't look like him, >> we'll just say it's not him. It's someone else. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's not great.
