Uh tomorrow night though it's Liverpool and they are heading to the GTech to take on Brenford. Tough tough place to go isn't it place to go. >> Tough place to go is it? >> Very [laughter] It's a horrible It's a horrible place to go. >> Um Liverpool are are going into it confident after a 6-3 win against last with Brady Bara getting a hattick. His first career hattick as well. However, Brenford have started extremely well and they are unbeaten. So ahead of this match and Iola shared his thoughts on Brenford as opponents. They are difficult because they are very good. They have good players, well coached. They have a clear idea that has been consistent a lot of seasons. I would say right now, a squad that understands very well what they are trying to do and they are good on the ball, they are physical, they are honest and that's the the main reasons they are a good team. >> And Riola there knowing what a good team Brenford are. um the Liverpool manager because they are especially uh at home. Rory, uh your team found out um about that. Spurs found out about that first game of the season and you know they're going really well under Keith Andrews and they're a very difficult team to beat. Um >> are they are they the are they the are they the best coached team in the league considering the >> what's what their resources are considering the inexperience of Keith Andrews which we all expected him to be in big trouble last year. It build on it proves that last year wasn't a fluke. They've picked up where they've left off. like is incredible was happening there. >> What what I'd say is very important is if you think about if you think about what Keith Andrews is seen as being, I don't think it's fair. I don't think it does it does him justice. I think he was absolutely fantastic. I really do. Like when he got the job, I was quite sneery about it. I hold my hands up. I was wrong. I didn't think it was a particularly inspiring appointment. I didn't think it was an appointment that was going to work. When Thomas Frank left and took basically everything with him to Tottenham, the one thing he left was made manager at Brenford. I didn't think it was going to work. Andrews has made me look a fool. He's been brilliant. He's got everything right. And you know the most the most >> almost sensational thing about what he did, you know, when you think about Keith Andrews, you probably think and you you if you're going really stereotypical, you're wrong. But you probably think that he he gets them going. He ges him up. T not a tactical master man player. >> Yeah. It's more like a man manager. >> Yeah. Man manager. Do you know what he did? It's the first time I've actually seen it happen for Zabonzo. Zabonzo is seen as being a tactician, seen as being very wise on the touch line, seen as being a man that's been there and done it. And the truth of the matter is Chelsea got beat by Brenford. Brenford were better. They were better in every department. >> But the actual reason that they beat us was because Keith Andrews >> totally outthought Zabonzo. Zabonzo in every way. But Zabonzo, look, people will say, "Oh, well, we didn't have Kaisedo and we played Jordan Henderson in the middle and it didn't" and there were, you know, myriad of reasons. But if you are completely honest, the reason that we got beat is because Keith Andrews tactically outthought and was tactically superior. He got it right. Look at the goals that they scored against us. The way that they scored, they hit us on the break. They scored from set pieces. That all comes from the work that's being done on the training ground. And it's getting to the stage now where you've got to talk about Brenford. Earlier in this show, Flex, we you and I were having a debate about the worst run club in the country. I think you very easily now have a talk about Brenford being the best run club in the country. >> 100% alongside Brighton as well, teams like that. Um 100% agree with everything you said about Keith Andrews and this Brenford side. You know, their recruitment's always good. You know, they're they're a family club, obviously a smaller club, but what they've managed to do since coming into the Premier League, especially with the changing of the guard of allowing Thomas Frank to go and have a crack at the Spurs job, you know, losing their best players and selling them for big money, whether it be Brian and Bumo, Yahan Vissa, Ivan Tony, um Flecken when he left, you know, um very difficult. Lost Jordan Henderson as well. He he played really well from last season. So, there's a high turnover there, but they never seem to be in any real big trouble. Um, and look at the emergence of, you know, Eagle Thiago. And listen, they have they have got a lot of draws, but they've played some difficult teams and to be unbeaten at this stage and and to be putting up the type of performances they've been putting in, um, is fantastic. From a Liverpool perspective, um, Brady Barker is off and running. Um, it was against Lask. They did win 6-3, but he did get a hat-tick. Now listen, you can look at the level of opposition and say that's not really, you know, you can't really, but at the same time, >> Bradley Barola, >> it's good to it's good to get it's good to get repetition in your legs going into big games. But how what have you made since you scoring a hat? You scoring a hatrick in the Champions League. It means something. >> You're you're new at the club, but you know, I was I was talking to somebody recently on air and they went, "What do you think?" You know, Vertz Barcola. I was like, "Whoa, whoa, we got to separate. They're very different. You got to separate them. >> They're very different. Brady Barcola will succeed. He's far too good to fail. He's a remarkable footballer and fairly soon Anfield the cop is going to be serenating Bradley Barcola with that Maxi Rodriguez song. You know Maxi Rodriguez, right? That's going to be happening week in week out because he's a class act. As soon as >> TK's back is back like it's going to work up front with Barca. Oh, he's mustard. He's so good. >> So good. >> He's mustard. >> I think he's brilliant, mate. I really do. The way that he beats a man. And the way like we even saw we even saw >> we I mean we saw shades of it at Portman Road and to be fair we did >> but I'm surprised you're giving him this. I like him as a young up and cominging like talented player but I just need to see the appetite in the Premier League. I need to see it in the Premier League or different PSG. He's not the main man, >> different squad, >> but what you're doing is I think I think what's happened is because of rubbish >> because of because of Liverpool's brilliance under Jurgen club. >> You know how certain managers they kind of define fans, >> you you'd be a Fergie kid, right? So the way that Manchester United are seen, it's all kind of steeped in Fergie in Fergie. >> Yeah. >> We're Mourinho. Like you know when I'm going >> Liam Rini isn't fit to be the Chelsea manager. He's a stain. That's all from Mourinho, right? That's all I'm previous. All because of Mourinho and Liverpool, the Liverpool that we now know, >> it's Klopp. >> Barcola is not a Klopp player. I'm not I'm not even saying it because of that. The reason why I'm saying it, >> look at the Man City game. >> Look at Victor Munoz on the other side against Nikico O'Reilly >> at it. I want to take you one v one. Let's have it. And I looked at Brady Barka. Listen, I'm not saying he's going to be a flop, by the way. No, I do like him. I'm just saying I'm going to reserve the top agilation until I see more of him in a red shirt in this division because he looked like he didn't have the in the game the six games I've seen him play. >> If I said to you in the first six games you score a hat-tick in one of them you would have gone yeah that's pretty good going >> I've got to look at we got to look at the contest because he was right at the end of that. I've got no reservations. I've got no reservations about Baka. I really don't. >> Florian Vver's got Patrick. Florian Vver's got an assist. You know, he's gone to Europe. He did he did well in the Champions League against um Florian V is a busted flush. >> Florian is one of the worst Premier League signings of all time. Maybe maybe he might go down as the worst. >> He He is currently the wor if you factor in everything. If you factor in the money, the expectations, what he was supposed to represent coming into a team that were champions, he is the worst Premier League signing of all time. Yeah. >> And nothing is going to change that. like you know certain signings. >> I do think he's a talented footballer. >> I don't Oh, I wouldn't say that. >> Talented what? Like down power League? >> No. No. See, that's disrespectful. >> Talented what? What? What? What's disrespectful about? >> That's disrespectful. It's disrespectful because it's unkind, but it's not disrespectful because it's untrue. >> No, because you're saying I don't think you can look at Floren Verts as a player and not see that he has talent. Like he wouldn't have he wouldn't have got to where he's got to if he's not. >> I haven't seen any of it. I've literally never seen do something. >> No, that's what I'm saying. That's a different argument. Have we seen it in Liverpool shirt and is he suited to the Premier League? I would actually say no. This is why I'm saying he's going to go down the flop. But he is a talented footballer. He could go to La Liga. He can go to like back to the Bundesliga. >> I don't think he can go to La Liga. I think I think he he might be able to do it in the Bundesliga, but it's not it's a kind of a non- entity league. >> I think he could. I think he could play for a different I just don't think he suits Premier League football. >> When you say when you say he could do it in in La Liga, two things, are you talking Real Madrid or you talking Ibear? Because if you're talking Atletico, >> he could absolutely no chance. Of course he could. >> We watched Atletico play the other night. >> The way that they play for Atletico. Absolutely no way. >> Jonathan David off the front. What are you talking about? Barios and that. >> No way does he get anywhere near it. He is so lightweight. He is so lightweight that he isn't capable. >> I'm not saying he do running. He'll have people who do running for him, but I'm saying in that league when they are playing against Atletico Madrid playing against Ibar and and and I don't know Val Deid. I don't think they're in the league, but you know what I'm I think he's so lightweight and you know what he is lightweight and I tell you and I tell you what he suffers from which it actually can negate you as a Premier League footballer or any footballer. >> Do you know what he is? >> He's what's what's the correct word on air? He's a He's a massive He's He's not brave. >> He's not He's not brave. >> Coward. >> Coward's a good one. Yeah. No, I was thinking of a word that wouldn't be allowed to be used like he's a m he's he's Yeah. Cow He's cowardly in a tackle. these cowardly like you know that challenge that set the tone at Anfield the other day Anderson smashed him hit him cleanly won the ball and I went get up >> set the tone you cannot allow yourself to be bullied in that way and consider yourself a footballer at the highest level >> I do believe though um because if it's true that like Isach and Gako will be missing from the squad if that's the case I think they get beat um as a as a preview sorry as a prediction I I would say we need to it's one of those classic ones where you really You need to see, you know, like you actually need to see the team sheet so you can predict it properly. Like cuz if those three are playing, it changes everything. But if they're not playing and you're going to the G-Tech, I think Liverpool get beat. Prediction quickly on that one. >> I think Brenford win the game, which is the kindest thing that you can say, isn't it about how how impressive they are, how >> Yeah, I think I think they win the game. I think they win the game convincingly. I think Keith Andrews is the governor. I think they're going to be
