Oh, step >> inside. SHOOTS. NOT EVEN THAT. LET'S GO. THE SUBS HAVE SAVED THE DAY AGAIN. YES. ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED? ARSENAL NOT ENTERTAINING. We need to be entertained. We play and do what we want, boys. Switch on. You are right, Scott, though. The better team did start to take control. N you've been good in three games ON THE SPIN. >> YES. >> WAS THAT deflected or IS THAT >> IT DON'T MATTER. IT DON'T MATTER. >> TAKE A DEFLECTION. >> But like fair play. Like what what >> but what I like there is he gets the ball and he wants to be direct. He can't sit inside and he gets the shot away. >> Oh, he's loving that. >> Love it. Love it. No, because on a serious note, I give Ni a lot of criticism, but I think in life you need to be fair. When someone's doing bad, you can criticize them. When they've done well, give them their flowers. And I I do feel Noni Madek has always been a scapegoat on occasion because of people didn't want him shel popped up with a good stick. >> You know what? It takes a massive deflection. But what's good though is again I keep using the word direct. Every time he gets the ball, he knows exactly what he wants to do. There's a couple of step overs. He cuts in on his right foot, gets the shot away. And if you're going to shoot from a situation like that with bodies in front of you, you are that that's a a possibility. >> This is what we said. This was how the game was going to go. We needed individual brilliance. Now granted, when you've got Odard, Baka Saka, previously Ez, you think it's going to come from them. Noni has done what we've demanded. >> I was right about the minute, by the way. 80 minutes. >> You said 85, I think. 85. >> Someone V and have a look. >> Um, >> just run goal scorer. Where where are you on mad way K? I I've always found him a really frustrating player. So often that final product isn't there. He does the first bit right, beat his man, but then it's lacking. But again, I like players that always want the ball. He never hides away. He never shines away. He always tries to make something happen. And I said it first off. You're Munos and you got Eza in the pocket wanting to pass back, you know, not try and take you on or face him who every time he gets you is outside, outside, inside. I know who I'd rather face as a defender. Not the guy coming at me. >> I'm right there with you. I think look I I think he is limited in in certain situations and certain game states but what Arsenal did need today was somebody who was going to drive at people >> and look facts >> if Forest are going to sit in which it looked like they were starting to do >> you just need somebody in there who's going to go and make something happen and like fair play to him like I don't think Zangari actually defended that well in the leadup to it is in behind here >> get a shot man >> oh go take the tumble bang Look at Mourinho. >> Marino. Ah, he's leaning back. >> Yeah, that's a foul. But >> yeah, this is the thing. Like if if with Madeka, he's joined Arsenal for a specific reason, right? And that is to >> be a squad. >> If you're happy with that and you can come into this situation and make differences like he's making now, and you're happy with that role in the squad, >> like I I don't think like he's well, he's never going to be like an automatic first choice at Arsenal, is he? unless he plays out of his skin for a long long time. But like good squads and teams who win things have to have players like that on the bench who are going to come into the game and affect things like like think of how many goals Trosard scored last season has like and how many points that actually is that a hamstring there um for >> Oh, credit to chasing a lost cause there. >> Fair enough. No, but you're right. You're right with Noni. Like non is one of those players. I feel in your last three games you've been good. I feel with all the dramatics that happened with leads at home, nonimke's performance got lost. I think if you watch that, he was a consistent thorn. Bit more frustrating against Leo, but it was another positive game to build upon, he got an assist. And now in the well, not exactly 45 minutes, but since coming on at halftime, he's made himself a constant thorn. This is what I like. Three games on the spin, you've done your thing. With Noni Madawke, it's you've got the ability. It's just that thing. It's just consistency. I don't know if I can bet on you like 10 20 odd games. If you could get that in your game, you'd be a different kind of player. I don't know if I believe the penny is going to drop in that regards if you're 24 25. I kind of think what you see is what you get. But shout >> and like he's been at Chelsea, he's been at Arsenal, he's played three like he's been in big he's worked with great coaches, great players and you kind of think that >> you're right. It's like it it should be there by now for him that you know to kind of make those be be make those just make those decisions. >> Yarez has done well tackle that >> great tackle. I just wish he would Yokarez was a yard quick eye goal stand that's a pen >> every time they go to ground like that I fear the worst in the box >> I know >> come on boys >> well Arsenal needed that and you wonder >> you wouldn't bet against them going to win this is 2-0 now just because the the unlock has happened >> you can see the mental relief that's taken off >> and for us as well at some point we'll have to push him bodies forward and leave >> they'll have to gamble >> leave space mu stands a decent ball out of the box >> wait come on boys Marino Marino my guy refed that go off I think it Marino, why didn't you hit it? >> He should have hit that. >> Why didn't he go for it? Why didn't he go for it? >> He had lots of space in the box away. >> You got to hit You got to take those chances. You got to take those chances. And you know what? A lot of people talk about Arsenal in the attacking sense. I'm not saying it's where I want us to be this season. Again, I keep making a joke about 95% of goals from open play. we've improved and I think there's a lot that Mikuel Arteta needs to do but equally I do believe even though it's needs to be freedom within a framework I do think the players need to do things off the cuff a bit more and that's a moment where Mour marino if you feel it go for it sort of thing >> like sacka be more brave sometimes I wouldn't use I wouldn't use the word brave I'd say be a bit more direct if you see it go for it cuz there's a couple of occasions I think they have done that and I think Real Madrid with the two free kicks with Declan Rice he just felt it I feel that's an element that's under just go for it cuz you are good players. Like even I know he's not the flavor of the of the game, neither is Bruno. You look up there for Premier League goals from outside the area. I want to harness that because what you've seen today, whether Arsenal's been good or not, isn't too dissimilar. Teams don't set up and give us space. If there's a moment of brilliance, it changes the game state and the game gets open. We're not talking about breaking down low blocks, are we? >> Yeah, it's true. >> And it's another game where we haven't scored in the first half. Obviously, if we win, I'm great, but there's still things to improve upon. Chris Wood and Liam Daper >> and Hudson and Hudson and I think they've gone 442. >> They're going for it. >> Yeah, it looks like it's 442. Looks like Dilap and Chris Wood and you'd imagine now Forest point of view. Just hit just try and hit the Just try and hit the target line, right? >> Yeah, >> there's no difference between losing one or two potentially. >> Oh, you got nothing to lose now, haven't you? >> It's kitchen sink time. Like, >> might as well go for But this is though, CJ, where Arsenal are often so good. When you're one up, you can just suffocate teams, can't you? And control games. >> See out the games naturally as a fan. My emotions are all over the place, but my players typically are cool, calm, and collected. I just still don't think we're out of the woods yet yet if I'm honest. I think Forest have a surprise for us. So, I hope we can manage the game. I'd love a second, but yeah, I love the position we're in considering the first odd, you know, 80 minutes we've watched. >> Um, and yeah, not pretty, but you won't care long as you get those three points and >> so ugly. It's beautiful, my boy. >> Stay three points behind Manchester City. But yeah, I mean, I think Forest have looked tied. I think Forest I don't want to have a go at Forest Scott, but you know they're at home. Have they and I know they're without Gibbs wide, but they >> That's too Have they needed maybe at some point to to try and give the home fans something to get behind, try and be a bit more direct and a bit aggressive or if you're playing the Premier League champions, this is what you expect. >> They have been a bit too deep at times, I think. And like we mentioned, the only real hope that they've had is that hook ball down the channel to like dilap for him to chase. And he's done his best to try and make things happen. Um, but I suppose the the danger is if Forest did come out and play a little bit higher, then you'd always run the risk of falling behind falling behind a lot earlier in the game and then the game is gone. You end up losing it or whatever. So, >> easy for me to ask that question. One down on they got to 80 minutes nil. They're doing okay. >> Yeah, if if they have a set piece and they score from it and then they sit back into that, then it's it's a different game. But I don't think they've done >> look quite enough. But you see these games a lot. >> Come on. Um and also as well there's no Morgan Gibbs White and noted any evidence but like the drop off in for us with and without Gibbs White is >> he'll pick up on the scraps and turn kind of water into wine like especially a couple of occasions where Dilap's got the ball in threatening areas >> but he has that ability to get the ball in the pocket and whip it >> just do something kind of what I want my players to do something off the >> assist he's got that top class ability just to just to make something happen and Arsenal since going a goal up at the moment they've had pretty much all the possession in Forest's half they're managing the game well I can't imagine they'll Loads of added time on in this second. We haven't >> not a lot of weights. Lot lot of stoppages to be honest. >> Come on, get your body there, Marino. Make the foul. Make the foul. Bring him down. >> This game to me. Forest aren't even getting out of their own half really at the moment. So I think >> that's how it's gone. >> This is what Arsenal are really good at managing a lot of things. But >> and also if you do want to launch long balls in the box, which is easy to do. Yeah, >> they got Gabrielle, they got Kza, they can bring Mascara on. Califur is a big boy. >> Absolutely. Um, Arsenal one up. >> Noni, I love it. Cal Fury, that's brilliant. Marino, slow it down for me. >> See the freedom now? They're propping the ball around. >> Yeah, you can see the like the mental wounds have been lifted with scoring that goal. That's lovely. >> Oh, Marino, love it. Come on. I think there's a second one for us. ONLY DECISION MAKING. BRILLIANT. >> OH, LUCKY BOYS, but it's worth the wait. >> Once again, MK again left hand side puts a really good dangerous ball into the box. A nice dilap thinking. Count him off to the door. HE'S IN HERE. LONG THROW. CHANCE FOR CHRIS WOOD. >> I'm scared. >> Chris Wood. >> THAT'S TWO. THAT'S TWO TURNS FOR BOTH TEAMS. Both players have been reluctant to pull the trigger. >> Chris Wood, the man you DON'T WANT TO SHOULD HAVE DONE SOMETHING. IT'S LIKE THE WORLD STOPPED. >> IT'S LIKE TAKES A quick throw. Hodson gives it to Wood and I think is that >> No, I think too many touches and he should have played it when he's taking that touch to inside. He should have laid it. He either should have shot 20 years sooner or passed the ball. Thank you though, Chriswood. Appreciate it. >> That was a big big chance. Quick thing about Liam Dilap again. Yeah, really good. And it was also being like pushed on the pitch by still able to like >> two street smart individuals there. Didn't come off for Konza, but yeah, Liam Dilap positive. Liam Dilapy had a decent game against Crystal Palace, but probably remembered for that miss. You're doing well today, man. Still don't think he's worth 45. >> Marino's just going to have to stay down there. >> Yeah. Oh, ref, that's dangerous. That is dangerous, ref. >> Marino's out on his feet and >> he booted the ball into his midsection. I'm surprised Mourinho's still up on his feet. Marino, you're a strong lad, man. >> Wow. The ball blasted. >> Wow. We >> happened to Bruno in the first half. I thought he was playing football. It's crazy stuff. 5 seconds of normal time remaining and yeah it's one of those not pretty Arsenal won't care clean sheet the three points >> referee >> good battle that to be fair with both >> former teammates >> yeah yeah yeah >> sporting boys going up in the world >> I'd love for him to score >> three minutes added on you know it's not a great game of football when you get three minutes time added on CJ as we come towards the end of the game um just get your thoughts on a performance mate how have you seen this game >> well it's where it's so ugly. It's beautiful. It's a in one hand, you know, it's a typical Premier League game away from home. Nottingham Forest have made it difficult. We've had to grind and show a bit of quality to get that goal via Noni Madawke. We didn't create enough. It's kind of the same old issues with an Arsenal team in it. You want to see us start a bit faster and sharper in the first half, score goals, look a bit more entertaining on the eye in the final third. But you won't find me complaining. Nottingham Forest is a difficult outfit. They've been better um than their form suggests. They're still not out of it yet, but just get out of the get out the way. It's another away ground ticked off. We got the three points. We just need to be that much better against Everton at home obviously on next Saturday. Before that, we've got Bayern Munich, but we're generating wins. Who's winning is always a good thing. Can't can't be disappointed with my boys. So, yeah, let's just get out of here with three points. >> Mill. Good play from him. Why haven't we gone to two of you? >> HE'S IN. >> MOURIN. MOURIN. MOUR. >> OH MY. >> I THOUGHT HE WAS going to do it. >> I genuinely thought he scored incredibly. >> DO YOU SEE THAT? THEIR only chance and their best chance has come from the center half who's everyone in the stadium is in a state of shock at what Mourinho's done. He's med someone on the sideline. He carries the ball in the box. Who's Lexi put it through? He goes past three Arsenal players from it onto his right foot. >> That's poor from he just goes over. >> Four Arsenal players have gone to sleep there. There's too much gaps. You see what I mean about the game state and second half changes. FOREST HAVE HAD >> WHAT HAVE I JUST SEEN? a ridiculous way to end a pretty, you know, average game of football. >> But what Forest going into this game, Forest have generated a lot of chances this season. They can't convert, which I hope rings true, but that's where they've let themselves down today. It's a bit like leads. For Forest will look back and take positives, but goals win games and they haven't been clinical and the chances presented themselves >> and we'll breathe a relief. >> Also, you know, so you know, when I watch the replay back, Chris, >> he he doesn't actually have to run past players. The Arsenal players almost kind of just stopped and let run through like it was all it's not like he beat the run. He just knocked the ball in the field and was allowed just to go on to it long. >> Get out of here, man. >> It was all a little bit silly, wasn't it? >> Get your body there, please. Love it, Marino. Y get your body there. I need a free kick. Oh, I lucky. Unlucky. Ref. There's a foul there. Oh god, go down. >> Oh god, go down. Stop. It's not time to play football. It's time to get out of three points. Come on, boys. Ref, THE GAME'S DONE. NO. >> THE LAP. THE LAP. DAP'S IN IT. DAP OH STANDING FROM >> EZRI KONZA. >> THAT was >> Liam Dap goes two on goal inside the box left hand side about to get a shot away. And fair play to Ezri Konza. The recovery run, the recovery tackle is of a worldass level. >> A world class level. >> If Civa does that, I'm waxing L. It's a >> We should Well, let's let's wax Lyrical about Ezri Konza. >> There's nothing. >> There's nothing I can say about Conza. I love what you've been doing in Arsenal shirt since we've signed you. >> Keep us up corner. >> Contributions like that deserve victory. So I hope the last kick of the game doesn't have dramatics for us. Oh >> ref pushes that refle's done. >> Right. Go down. I think your hamstrings tight. >> Let's go down man. >> Well we waited for that long and Forest just thrilled us in injury time like two or three times. >> Yeah. >> Fair play >> for us. It's kind of same old same old. Not just in I don't mean that in a disrespectful way. Kind of what we've seen that we've done well, what we've needed to improve, how opposition teams are set up against us. The main thing is the three points, but yeah, it's another day of us. Can we start sharper? Can we start faster? Can we learn to break down low blocks quicker? We show show patches of brilliance, BUT YOU >> big up to everyone who got three points today, man, in this game week. Sorry for the failed hatalongs. One nil to the Arsenals. A famous score line. You know what time it is, man. Premier League champions. Noni point to the badge. Man of the match. Like non man of the match. Shout out Conzo. >> Um CJ he came off the bench. We said at half time something needed to change. He came on and his you know credit you to m he makes he makes something happen out of nothing. >> Credit to where credit to where non d man three good games in a row he's done very well. We kind of said well I kind of said that I think art reversed his decision. Nine times out of 10 I think noni starts a game of this ilk. He obviously went with EZ. Noni's impacted in whatever's been asked of Noni in these last three games in particular. You've got goals, you've got assists, your performance has been there, and you've helped us win. So, this is what the squad's about. And especially with that left hand side, like you asked me, did I believe in Vinesis and stuff. It's just disappointing not to get a star man. So, my point of saying that is to say this, that left wing spot is up for grabs. Right now, it's not mades. >> Um, Scott, how do you see that? Not pretty from Arsenal, but the biggest the biggest cliche them all the champions is the team who wins when not playing well, etc. You are going to get those games a lot this season. And I think the way that Forest play, the way that Gladnner plays, I think it was always going to be a game like that. I think credit to Forest. I know I know they didn't like score today or whatever, >> but they gave Arsenal a really really tough day work for >> they gave them a really really difficult day and there are times where the fortune can go the other way and like if Forest won that game, you would have thought they actually deserve to win. That's not that's not me trying to take down Arsenal or whatever cuz you just as as a big team like that. You go to games like this at grounds like this and you expect to play teams who will give you a really tough run for your money. That's why the Premier League is a Premier League, right? >> But credit to him the you know on another day they might not have won that but you needed a guy to step up and he did. >> Yeah. >> You talk about all the you know the the great attacking players that have been sig
