Uh last night um oh dear I went to bed at halftime last night. I thought I'm not I can't I can't watch this >> Benfica. I watch >> that's what I mean. I went halftime I went bed. >> They just got outclassed. >> They give a [clears throat] ridiculous penalty away. >> How do you how do you do that early on like that? How do you do that? >> I know. Well, the John Durant's playing for Ben Fig, wasn't he? >> That was his ninth club in it in about three years. Yeah. >> Um but he he scored two. >> But the boy right away do you know the boy on the left hand side for them the Italian name I forget his name. blonde hair, had his hair dyed. >> He was different class. You look at Celtic wide. Oh, pants. Pants. >> They just looked like it looked like it was um a Premier League team against >> Yeah, it did. >> a first a League One team at times. The way they were Benfica were knocking the ball around. >> I know. I tell you what, I was It was poor football last night for me. And Sunderland fans, please don't go on my back, but Sund weren't very good. you know, they weren't very good cuz that was a I'd never heard of that team before >> and at times I thought Sunderland are getting beat here, but they did rescue it to be fair to them. And Palace, I thought Palace could have done better, by the way. You know, Leon are not the side they used to be. No wonder PSG stroll that league. No wonder. >> Well, you get you get dodgy results because the manager changes the team, don't he, and changes the back four and you can come up against someone who's well organized that you've never heard of. I mean look the night before obviously Liverpool got knocked six. Villa knocked what? What did Villa Villa knock six in, didn't they? Something like that as well. >> Yeah. >> Um he's doing well by the way. Nicholas Jackson. >> He is doing well. I've said that you know cuz I didn't fancy him to be honest. I didn't think he could finish but he's putting himself about. He's still got he's got more pace now I think confidence >> and he's he's banged him in. So well done son. Yeah, I thought he's not. Well, I knew he was a good player, but I didn't think he was up there, but I might have to eat my words and say, you know, I've just said it. Well done, Nicholas, cuz he's he's looking good now. Looking sh. >> I remember you saying that um he doesn't finish the chances he gets. >> Yeah, he needs he needs three to score one, which is a top class club. You need a bit more than that. But in saying that, he's he's he's a different player from what I've seen in the past. >> Well, and he's he is quite similar to Ollie Watkins. I think Ollie probably run chased lost causes a bit better. >> Yeah. By the way, Dean, I saw you playing for Liverpool the other night. That's you. >> Where? >> Liverpool boy. The young Welsh boy up front. >> What was he watching? >> No, the the Welsh boy up front. >> Oh, Kumas. >> Oh, that's you. That is you chasing about, scurrying about. >> Well, right up the drain pipe, chasing everything. >> I think [clears throat] he's right up the manager's straight. The manager wants to press. If you haven't got someone there who runs without being told to run >> and I know we'll move on to it later, but that's what's wrong with Man United, by the way. >> Yeah. Not enough Not enough of them working hard enough. >> No. No. Well, I think the stats are saying that as well, aren't they? Anyway, last night Oh, h welcome. He talks about breakfast. Allan Churchill will be at Brazil. I I'll let you in a secret, D. This is so my little my my youngest of my grandchildren's the only boy we've got, right? Oscar Allen his name is. And by the way, as a kid, he looks just like I did when I was a kid. Honestly, really white hair, you know, real blonde, white hair. And um so his mom, my youngest, give him a a note and says, "Who's that? Who's that?" Oscar. And it was a queeny. Grandma. Grandma. Right. Grandma. And then turns it over. Who's that? Gong Gong. Me. It's Churchill. I'm like, >> sweets have stopped. >> Sweets have stopped. By the way, all you need is a cigar and a glass of whiskey. [laughter] You do look like him >> on the screen. Do you look >> Oh, yeah. [laughter] That's the best Winston. >> That's the best picture I've seen of Church. Do you know his son used to live in my village? >> Yeah, he had the house today. Yeah, beautiful house. In fact, still a be of course still a beautiful house. >> That's a new name, Winston. >> So, it's Allan Allan Churchill Brazil and Dean Rob Ryden Saunders. [laughter] A difficult night for Celtic and Martin O'Neal who were beaten heavily in Europe. But speaking to Celtic TV after the game, Martin chose to look at the positives. >> Well, no, no, no. I' I've just said to the players at the at the end of the game, we we should take encouragement from it. And none of this here, yes, we've been beaten in the game. 4-1 suggests that you're you're well beaten in a match. But for me, I thought the second half performance was absolutely terrific. And that augers well for us. We'll we'll try and get our energy back again for the big big game on on uh on Sunday. And uh and we have not given up in this competition. Not by a long way. >> Well, there you go, Martin. Listen, I went to bed so I can't comment. But um I like what he said there about I like he's positive and I like he says the big game coming up. It gives us com because it's all about the SPL now forget the it's all about the SPL and Rangers. >> Yeah. Yeah. But but but last night um was it Kamar at the post at 3-1 down? Is it his great left foot strike? hits the post. That would have made it 3-2 >> and they still had 20 minutes left. If that had gone in, >> they were back in it. But they've obviously conceded at the other end. Looks like 4-1. But I can see what Martin's on about. If they they could have got back in the game. >> We're talking about Europe as well, Dino. Your manager, you set them out, they go out the dressing room, you come on, start well, win the first tackle, win the first header. And you know, was it 18 minutes or something the European game one n down right away? You're thinking, what what did they listen to me? And then last night giving a penalt away like that. Celtic shocking shocking. Celtic welcome hearts to park head on Sunday. They've conceded 12 goals in the last three European games. Celtic fans by the way it was a lot. Three and a half thousand men. Lisbon going back to 1967. The first British team to win it. They were there and what a shame. You know I was I was really hoping Celtic could turn on for them. Three and a half thousand. Magnificent. Uh we want to hear from you this morning. 03717234 is the number. Have you run out of patience with Celtic in Europe or Martin or I like Martin so I'm not I'm not going to give Martin stick but um there was no way we were going to win that game after 20 minutes. I thought it was another European battering the final I don't like talking like that. Stop writing these things down for me. I don't like it. Right. Just get you set. Give me your verdict on the display the game and looking forward. Can we look forward? Coming up a ton of attention to the back pages and finally we have an apology for Landro Martinez.
