Yeah, I think um showing real togetherness, you know, fight um where it's a tough place to come and it's challenging and we really stuck together out there and fought for each other and um played well as well. So, I think uh we're showing courage here and um yeah, three points is good. >> Early in your words from the other day are kind of ringing in my ears. What did you say? Enjoy the ride, stick together. Did you feel like you did that today? Yeah, I think every single uh that's part of Man City and uh every single fan I think this is a lovely moment uh which will uh stay with us for a long time when it comes to to the feeling after the game and um or and in the game. I mean uh it was tough and it was hard but again we we show amazing character from from Gigio all the way back to the front. So um again I'm I'm so proud of everyone. How hard were those first few moments and not even actually of the match but arriving at the ground booze on the warm up booze in the early part of the match? How difficult an atmosphere was it to deal with Elliot? >> Yeah, it was definitely more than normal. Um arriving in in the first 10 minutes of the game, but I thought we done really well to sort of quieten the crowd. Um struggled first half a little a little bit, but second half we were a lot better. Um yeah, and then all the all the goals came flooding. Did it feel like a a different kind of atmosphere, Erling? Obviously, they're always going to be for their team, but did it feel a little bit more today like it was also against you to be honest? >> No, not really. It's always tough to come here. Uh if you look at the record, it's it's been it's a tough place to come. It's always been as we spoke about a few days ago with with the Pep and Klopp era. It's it was so tough for for both teams. And uh uh but again it's about these uh times to stay strong mentally, stick together and uh do what you can do something about. And what we can do something about is to play good football and to to fight together because in the end uh that's the only thing we can do. >> Erling says it's difficult to win here. Not for you actually. You've won it three times in a row. I think you're only the seventh player to do that. Three in a row. >> Oh yeah. Two or five. >> Two or yeah but but still I mean like Ernie says it's not easy. And uh you've been on the uh the right side of things three times in a row. >> No. Yeah, it's a good start. Um but no, it is really tough, you know. Um during the game, you can feel it with the lads. Um and it's it's a game where you have to stick together more than ever and um show a good performance, which we did. >> It was remarked on more than once in commentary, the courage you played with. Can you just like for us what what is the key to playing with courage in an atmosphere like that? Because I mean back in the day it might have meant just roaring into the odd tackle, but but it's more than that, isn't it? It's holding the ball, wanting the ball when the crowd and obviously all their team are against you. >> I think I just enjoy it, you know. I enjoy I enjoy the crowd. I I enjoy the noise. Um I feel like I thrive under it and uh that's when I really really come alive and um yeah, just really enjoy it. Gives me confidence. Uh >> a word for this guy. You're grinning away over there like you often are in these interviews. >> I mean, you really he you really do. I I spoke about the character when we played with 10 men at Old Trafford. Uh and the first guy I think of is is today again he he takes control of the game and he he controls the game for us and he goes into the tackles. He he does things we have to do. Uh and um yeah, he's a good player. >> He is a good player. You're also a good player. What about that finish? You just had that I mean actually you had a chance before but you just got that moment that sort of I don't know half yard maybe less from Virgil van Djk and bang you you did what you do. >> Yeah I I missed a big chance right before and um it was just about focusing on on trying to to get another chance and and stay stay focused stay in the game and and uh the moment came and I took it. So I'm proud of that and I'm proud to to score three goals uh at Anfield because that's not often it happens. So, um, so yeah, I'm in in the end I'm I'm I'm proud of of everyone. >> Some knee slide you executed with the celebration as well. And what was it like celebrating in front of the fans? And I mean, I guess you knew he was in there. Did you spot your dad? He looked pretty emotional. >> No, I I didn't see my dad. I was looking for him, but uh but uh it looked like they had the time of their lives to be honest. And uh like last year when we were here, we scored in the last minute and it looked pretty nice. Uh so I think he enjoyed himself. So, uh, I'll I'll send a message. >> Last one then on the supporters cuz it won't have been easy for them the last couple of weeks. What did it mean to give them that moment, that performance? >> Yeah. I mean, uh, in the end, you want to win games. It's it's as simple as that. You want to perform well, you want to play good football, and you want to win games. And this was a mental battle because we come from internationals, and it's never easy to come back from the first game when we've been away for over two weeks. So, uh, in the end, I'm I'm proud that we managed to stick together so good and we we are mentally strong. Um, and, uh, and yeah, there's plenty of games coming up. So, uh, it's time to recover and already start focusing on next one. >> Okay.
