And we've seen that there has been a big change, hasn't there, in the summer with Newcastle, especially the fact that they lost Gimmesh and Gordon, but they spent quite big as well, didn't they? So, how many of these new signings are looking like good signings in your opinion? >> Well, the probably thing that jumps off that graph is is the age at the very very bottom. You know, the average age is so young. So, these players are going to get take time to settle in. And also, they're going to take time to, you know, Jamie done a brilliant piece there on the midfield. And I I as I was saying before, there's a time to press, Jimmy, and there's a time not to press. It felt like there were two or three were pressing, six or seven weren't pressing and Villa were just picking them off. But as you say, K, it's a big number. 276 million spent on the players coming in, but they are very young, very sort of inexperienced to the to the Premier League, most of them. Um, and maybe you look at the likes of Nico Gonzalez obviously won the league of Manchester City and things. Can he do more? Can he be a more leader on the pitch? Joe Linton was back in today. Maybe he can be the the voice in midfield to say now is not the right time to press. Now is the time to sit in and be nice and compact because as we said again I'm repeating myself a bit. They were opened up so easily first half. >> You say there about the the young age that they've got there but they do have experienced players among them you saw Dan coming on. You mentioned about he was starting a slightly different role when he came on for the last couple of minutes but how much can those players help these younger players and is there an element of of patience as well? >> Yeah absolutely P. It's a great question because you I don't want to jump into their nightmare. I should know but where DIC had a really good start to the season but I don't know if he's he picked up an injury or I'm not sure but there's other players that you're just waiting for you know you know Bambber and Tore you know Nikon Gonzalez has experience obviously at um at Manchester City Matteas Fernandez Pardo 51 million pounds you're hoping he's going to be okay but he needs time and there's nothing worse when you're a new player coming to a big big club make no mistake the expectations at Newcastle are so vast if you don't if the team aren't doing well it makes it very difficult. You know, the young boy stir from um Ajax, he gives a goal away against leads. It's difficult. The pressure is on you and they go and get chinned, you know, obviously heavily off the back of that. You've got to give these players time, but unfortunately in this in this game that we're in now, the managers, the players, you don't get that time. >> Really good point as well about the players that have left. You know, Gabe Marish in the midfield, uh he was their captain, of course, >> you know, Kieran Trippy doesn't get a mention. He was a real leader on and off the pitch. Um Gordon, you mentioned it as well. um tunal. So that that feels like the heart of the team's been ripped out, but Yisler has to get his act together pretty sharpish, you know, get these players playing and mix with the players already at the football club because at the minute they're in a bit of a we hear the fans at halftime, we hear the fans after the booze as well. So how would that make him feel? >> Yeah, I'm surprised. We were kind of saying Jimmy off air is, you know, we're surprised that he's gone around clap clapping the fans after after losing at home and after losing heavily during during the week. You know, a manager we played would have been straight down the tunnel and trying to put it right. But I suppose it's the modern day manager. I don't I I don't know. >> What do you think to these fixtures coming up, Shay? >> Uh I'm a bit worried. I mean, cuz their last two away games been as well, if they've conceded eight goals. So, as I say, the next three or the four games are away from home and then you look down to the to the next game after that and you see the champions coming to town as well. So, it's it's a tough fixture list and and as I already said as well is there's no easy games and and and especially when confidence is low, it's a it's a tough fixture list coming up. >> And they have been so good at home, haven't they? But the fact that obviously they lost today, will that knock their confidence a little bit at home, do you think? >> Yeah, absolutely. And this is where you need your characters. You need Dan Burn to come back in. You can see he's a big personality. He's the captain. He he'll lead from the front. And you know, you look at those fixtures, you go, "Okay, there's one maybe away from home. That might it might help him to play away, but at the moment they're getting beaten 4-1 in the last two occasions and beaten very comfortably, bashed up. I think Jeremy Carrick used the analogy. So he knows he knows the price on the ticket. This is a big club. It was a big move for him and he came in first couple of days waxing lyrical bat. tactics fantastic against Tottenham Osber. The way that he outmaneuvered the Tottenham manager and it we were like, "Okay, he's got a real chance. He looks the part, but all of a sudden you lose a couple of games, things flip very quickly." You know, he he needs to make sure that he gets his results quickly. The Newcastle fans were they were in love with Eddie How obviously and him like leaving has made it has left a massive hole, but it's a big opportunity. He's just everyone has to be a little bit patient because at the moment it looks like a difficult spell but the fans have got to stay with him stay with the team and they will pick up will pick up results they need a langanger back as well I think he was important for them you know he looked like he started the season really well picked up a hamstring injury but yeah he needs he needs a little bit of help and a bit of love at the moment and that's one difficulty when you're a young manager
