Welcome back to Satly Social where we are joined by Doogie and Cams. Okay, it has been a brilliant start, hasn't it, Sam to the Premier League season. A lot of teams surprising expectations I would say if you look at the league table. We got the likes of Brighton in third, Brenford in fourth, Everton and Leads up there as well to name a few. So we thought we'd give props to some of the players that are playing outside of the traditional big six. >> Yeah. So we've given Doogie the task of selecting the best Premier League 11 outside of the traditional big six. So, no players including Manchester United, City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs or Chelsea. We're going to go position by position. So, let's start with our goalkeeper. You've got three options there. >> I do. Yeah. And this is based on form this season. It's not overall quality. I wanted to give three goalkeepers a shout out. James Trafford, I think, has been amazing so far this season. Did I think have a fairly poor game against Arsenal last weekend, which has maybe affected my final decision. I think Zan Suzuki started very well. Aston Villa replacing a World Cup winning goalkeeper in Emmy Martinez, but I'm going with Bart Brigen. The most clean sheets in the Premier League so far this season. Crucial to Brighton being third as it stands right now. I think he's been very very consistent for Brighton over the last few years. Very good with his feet as well. I think he's just a top all round goalkeeper though. I wouldn't be surprised if there's big interest in him next summer. >> Three good shouts by the way. Three good shouts there. Going with Vugan. I I something tells me that might not be the last Brighton player that features. >> Got to reward him. Got to reward him. >> Right back. >> Right back. I'm going with Anan Khalili. Signed this summer from unanjalis. Uh he was the he put in the most tackles in the entire Champions League last year. Really really impressive. Also scored three goals replacing Daniel Munoz. Big player for Palace over the last three years or four years or so. But Khali has started very very effectively. Most tackles in the entire Premier League so far this season. Yeah. He's also joined most for shots at Crystal Palace as well which may be something that Pierre S should look at as well. really dynamic. So much energy on that right hand side. I think he's been fantastic. >> Okay, >> sticks. I like, you know, I like um I like Munos obviously he's a wing back, but I also like I like Michael Kaid, man. I think he's I would have had Michael Kaid in there. >> That long throw is such a >> Yeah, Cams, we're going to get your thoughts as we come into them because um some good shouts here. Let's go to the center back positions. >> I've got a nice duo here, I think, of Muharovic and Jared Branway. Now, fair play to Everton given the chaos at their end of the window with the Balagan situation and Betto leaving and losing a number of key players on deadline day to still be unbeaten at the start of this season. Really impressive. They got the joint best defense in the Premier League along with five other sides. And Brans, he's had so many injury issues over the last few years, but now played every single game so far this season. I think he's a really top player. >> Most blocks as well in the Premier League. >> Yeah. And hopefully he can get back and establish himself in the England side because he has been around that squad for a little while now. Muareovic I think has been one of the signings of the season so far for leads. I think leadeds have been so so impressive. I thought they dominated Arsenal for the good 60 minutes last weekend as well. Uh third for clearances in the entire Premier League. He's 6'4 according to his Wikipedia but he looks a lot bigger. He's just an absolute unit. So dominant in the air. I think he's been absolutely fantastic and this was a guy that was linked with Inter Milan in the summer. It was a bit of a coup to end up at Leads United. And hopefully they can keep hold of him for a good few years cuz >> two good I was going to chuck. Do you think Luka Viskovic as well coming into that Brighton side young player the range of ability that he's got in terms of tackles, interceptions, goals as well? He's had a >> very good start to life. >> Absolutely. I think he's been absolutely brilliant. I think potentially he didn't necessarily have his best game in in sort of August time. I think he's really come into it in the last month or so, but it's a very fair shout and I think Brighton managing to sell Van Hecker and bring in Vuskovic and make a profit on that deal. Amazing piece of business. Very smartly run club. >> I'll stick him down for you. >> So, we saying left back then? Left back is another Brighton player. It's Maxim Diper. Oh, >> great for FPL as well. >> Yeah, fantastic. I think it's two goals, two assists so far this season. He's created more chances than any other Premier League defender level with Jo, which surprised me, but given the fact that last year he was a bit more of a rotation option um to be as important as he has at the start of this year, really impressive. And this is a Brighton side that lost Van Hecker, lost Wellbeck in the summer, Ma and Mr have been injured and yet they are playing so well. And Maxim Deco has been a big part of I think he's been brilliant. >> Brighton have been great to watch actually. >> Yeah, they have. >> Chucking in I was just about to ask you about that. A few other players chucking in Louis Hall definitely deserves a shout out to be fair. Maybe that is an aberration from me. I thought it was amazing from England. >> Sunderland fan. No, I mean that that makes sense. >> But no, Lewis Hall has been brilliant. >> Let's bring Cams in on Lewis Hall because obviously you're a United fan. He was linked with Man United. What are your your take on that if if that was to happen? >> Should have been done. I mean, and it should still be done in my opinion. Next summer we have to go and get Lewis Hall in my opinion. I think that's the perfect signing for Manchester United. >> Okay. He's such a key player for Carson as well. >> Think you might have to reach the next few mates. >> Yeah, for sure. >> First midfielder. >> Pascal Gross has to be phenomenal. I think he's been one of the one of the players of the season so far probably alongside J Pedro and Ryan Sher. He's been absolutely amazing and I love players like this. You know, he doesn't have really any physical gifts and I don't mean to be too harsh on him, but he's not very quick. He's not very agile. He's not very strong, but it's all up here. The way he reads the game, he's one move ahead of everyone else on the pitch. He's also got seven goals and assists this season. I think only San Pedro tops that. Most chances created in the entire Premier League. And given the fact that he spent that what year and a half at Dortmund and then just seamlessly slips back in at Brighton under the radar, no one really took much notice of him. I think he's a really special player and crucial to Brighton. >> He's been one of the best players of the season, period, doesn't he? for a few years though, like every time I feel like he's always been a top player at Brighton and he you got to remember he's played nearly every position as well. Like he's just so technically good, so smart. Honestly, I I I love this guy. Le Pascal. >> Love it. One goal contribution every 77 minutes this season. Not bad. Glad he's in, dudes. If he wasn't in, we would not have been happy. So, >> no, I didn't make up for my Lewis Hall forget. Uh, right. Brenford Yanel next as well. I think Brenford kind of gone under the radar at the start of this season. Still unbeaten, two wins and four draws. I think Yanel really impressive all round player. I mean he leads Brighton for passes completed, tackles completed. He leads the entire Premier League for interceptions. I think often at Brenford over the last few years with Eagle Thiago and Damsguard and even Kevin Sharda. Other players have taken the the limelight somewhat, but I think he's been one of their key cogs in this side for the last 18 months or so. Uh and a key reason why they just continue to defy expectations. >> I agree with that. I almost feel like Brenford have got so much quality and technical quality that he's almost like an underrated part of that cog, isn't he? If you look and he's he's such a consistent player for them. >> 100%. He can play both ways. He's very solid defensively. He can, you know, carry the ball effectively. I think he's a really really talented player and I wouldn't be surprised if there's some interest in him next time. >> Okay, stick him up. Yeah, first in the Premier League this season for interceptions, third in the Premier League this season for tackles, two goals as well, having a great season is Yanel. >> Final midfielder. >> Next one, Morgan Gibbs White. I really love Morgan Gibbs White. think he's one of the most entertaining players to watch in the Premier League. Very off the cuff. When he's in sort of flow state, he's just an amazing player to watch. I think Forest haven't necessarily got the results this season their performances have deserved. I thought they were amazing in the first half last weekend against Crystal Palace. Should have been probably three, four goals up, went into halftime 2-1 down and eventually lose that game 3-1. But Morgan Gibbs White, I think he's second behind Pascal Gross for chances created in the Premier League. And next summer, he'll only have one year left on his deal. He'll be 27. I think he's a Champions League level player. I really do. I think he could go a lot higher. >> He's such a consistent player. Where where would you where would you see him going if if he were to leave for us? >> I mean, he adors Manchester United, you know what I mean? So, Bruno Fernandez is going to be leaving the club. Who knows? That's a possibility. He almost went to Spurs. He almost went to Manchester City as well. So, he's had his options and I think he'll get it. But >> Alex Scott snub, Alex Scott. Yeah, we have to talk about Alex Scott because for me I think Gibbs White's a great shout but Alex Scott's had a fantastic season. Unfortunately he's injured now. >> Yeah, long-term injury now. But yeah, absolutely phenomenal player. No surprise that the likes of Chelsea are linked with him in January for a massive money move. Although that knee injury does sound really serious as well. So I hope he has a speedy recovery. But in terms of a two-way midfielder, I thought he was brilliant for England as well in the international break. So props to him. >> In terms of Alex Scott, you mentioned Gibbs White. If he were to leave Bournemouth, I know Bournemouth won't want to lose him. Where do you think his best suited club would be? >> Maybe like you think Chelsea I mean in that too if in in I don't know the formation that Alonzo plays and stuff >> maybe he could actually but I I think somewhere like Liverpool will be good as well. I think they need somebody like that and Mallister has got a return of form lately but you don't know he with players that I think there was rumors that he might be going to La Liga at some point. So I think with Alex Scott coming into somewhere like Liverpool I think it I think it really suits. So I can imagine a Scott maybe Grain Burch and if they get in like a six it's a really good midfield for me. >> Yeah. Most possession one possession one in the final third most chances created for Bournemouth in the Premier League this season. Good to chuck you want to chuck a couple. >> There's a few others. John McInn >> I was going to say decent. I think he's he's been phenomenal for them. I mean getting them up from the championship key part of their consistent European finishes over the last few years. I don't know whether his form at the first few weeks of the season was as impressive as it has been recently. to be fair to Aston Villa betting in an entirely new side it's going to be challenging but yeah if it was done over the last 5 years I think John McG would be firmly in this >> jbury hall as well I wanted to >> hall as well I mean I was kind of choosing between Yanel and Jbury Hall again I think he's been I think he's been brilliant ever have been had a great start he's a very dynamic player J he's >> what we do is we like to chuckle because often they get reflected in comments from the people yeah now right wing is a good I think Sam and I big fan of this. >> It's a player that I didn't necessarily take much notice of over the last few years, but I wanted to award a whole city player because what a story. At the start of this year, people were talking about them breaking Derby's unwanted records for fewest points, but here they are eighth in the league. Balumi's got three goals and two assists. He's never scored more than three goals in an entire season in all competitions. So, it might not necessarily continue. But given the fact that this is a player that hasn't necessarily been a star for Hull in the Championship to start like this, there's only five players in the Premier League that have scored more goals than him, a brace at Stanford Bridge in that 3-3 game as well. I think he's been I think he's been absolutely brilliant. So yeah, massive respect to him for kind of establishing himself in this whole side. >> Yeah, he looks like he belongs like he's just comfortable in the Premier League and he's you can see he's building on his confidence as well and whole fans love him. >> He does look like he's loving whole in general look like they're just enjoying life in the Premier. Do you think they'll stay up cams? >> Oo, I don't know actually. I don't know. >> There's a chance. There's a chance because they play with a lot of physicality as well and I think that's important as well. So >> maybe >> I know how they play as like as a as a fan of a smaller side and I'd definitely use Thomas for that. Like the form of the newly promoted sides is quite worrying from like a Sunderland perspective, a Palace perspective, a Fulham perspective. Hull have picked up so many points already. They're already six points clear of relegation. IPS which have done better. Coventry have had backto-back wins. It's a little bit concerning. >> Le will tell you his dad is the greatest Algerian player of all time. >> Yeah. And he couldn't make a move or something like that because of because of the difficulty. So he's living his dream. >> I've heard about this bali guy far too much. >> I'm not surprised at this watching at home left wing. >> So I wanted to give a big shout out to Johan Manzambi who I think getting fit has been absolutely amazing but he did miss the first five games of the season. So across the entire season I wanted to give it to Kevin Shard who scored three goals. I think he's actually surprisingly good in the air. He's a really good physical specimen. You know can play on the break, can play and beat his man in tight spaces. I think Johan Manzambi will be one of the stars of the season. So I predict it if it was across the entire year I think Manzambi will end up in this 11. But for now I'm going with >> context you're going with Shard. Okay. >> So we're sticking Shardra up and then there's a bit of debate. I think the central forward area is a good debate here. So just Cams, who would you have without looking at Doogie selection? >> Yeah, well I saw his selection. I had him I had him in in there as well. But I also think Dominic Calv is getting really overlooked. I think Dominic Calvaluin he actually dominates defenders as well. Like aerally he is unstoppable. Seriously. And with where the how leads are doing it's so important that Cavaluin is fit and firing. He helps them build he helps them in link up. He helps them be a target man. and he actually scores goals, you know, and I'm not going to lie, he's one of them players that just surprised me so much after the Everton spell. I was just expecting we're not going to hear from Calvuin again. And the way he's like restarted his career at Leads is so impressive. I love your your mention anyway. I love the player, but the floor is you had to get the captain, the leader. Give him a night of the realm. He's fantastic. I love this guy. >> Defender's nightmare. >> Defender's nightmare. I think that's what I was going to say. You know, I can imagine podcasts in 20 years time where they ask Gabrielle, "Who's your toughest ever opponent?" He's going to go with Brian Robbie. He's going to go with Brian Robbie. It feels like a player a bit like Musa Dembele that necessarily won't have like the numbers to back up their ability, but in terms of his hold up play, there is no one that can contend with him. I think he gave well he scored a hat-tick against Man City. Gave Ruben Diaz one of his hardest games of the season. Ruben Diaz playing really well. He was an absolute nightmare in that defeat to Arsenal. unfortunately missed last game, but he's back fit when he was on the bench in in midweek against uh Trent. Hopefully starts against Bournemouth because we really need him. I think when he's playing and at full force and at full fitness, we've got a very decent chance, but without him, we look a bit toothless at points. >> Okay, Nicholas Jackson, do we give some props to as well? Five goals in total. >> Everyone's talked about it like they're shocked at this ability, but as a Chelsea fan, I've always known that he's capable. >> You've always ra Yeah, definitely. in a system that works for him. Emry loves him now. That's crucial, isn't it? I think he's talked about what he'd learned at Villa Royale under Emory. Kind of made him the player he is today. Thought he had a decent impact at bar and obviously backing up Harry Kane's a kind of impossible role. Uh but he's started fantastically at Aston Villa. >> Okay. Well, there we go. I enjoyed that Dukes. Good work. There is confirmation of the premier 11 excluding the traditional six of course. So, let us know what you think of those selections at
