The summer transfer window has almost closed and we've seen some absolutely bonkers deals go through over the past few months. From legends coming out of retirements to players going to clubs you didn't even know existed. We've gathered 10 of the most bizarre and random transfers that have happened this summer and compiled them all into one video. We'll start out with potentially the most random deal of the summer transfer window so far and that's Ronaldo joining Italian third division side Ravena FC. Now, Ronaldinho hasn't played professional football since 2015, but over 10 years later has come out of retirement with one goal to score his 300th professional goal. As upon retiring, the Brazilian legend ended his career with 299, but he still thinks he's got it in him to score one more. Now, the 46-year-old coming out of retirement, it does feel a little bit gimmicky, but hey, I'm all here for it. Let's wait and see how he gets on. But Ronaldo coming back out of retirement in 2026 definitely wasn't on our bingo card for the year. Another mad transfer that's happened this summer is Usain Bolt joining Witherm Shaw Vets. The Sunday league side already has plenty of former Premier League footballers on their books. The likes of Emile Hesky, Antonio Valencia, Steven Ireland, and Papa Cece are all currently playing with the club. And it was recently revealed that eighttime Olympic champion Usain Bolt has also signed up for the season. Now, Bolt does have a short history in football. He had a very brief spell playing in Australia after retiring from sprinting him, but that was all the way back in 2018. He's now 40 years old, but seems to want to get back into the footballing picture, and we can't wait. Getting back to some actual transfers though, Muhammad Salah's move to Trabzen Sport caught everyone off guard this summer. After leaving Liverpool, it seemed almost inevitable that Salah would either move to Saudi Arabia for a big money contract or to somewhere in Italy where he'd been quite heavily linked. Even of the journalists who were suggesting that Salah could potentially move to Turkey, most people were probably looking at the likes of Fenbache or Galatasay, maybe even Bashiktas that he could move to. No one saw the deal to Trabzon Sport coming, but he started out well with his new club, having already scored a couple of goals in his first two matches. Salah should absolutely rip that league apart this season. One of the most bizarre Premier League transfers this summer had to have been Jordan Henderson joining Chelsea. Henderson's inclusion in Thomas Tushaw's England squad for the World Cup this summer caught a few by surprise, but the move to Chelsea has raised even more eyebrows. 36-year-old did a solid enough job for Brenford last season, but isn't expected to play a massively prominent role for Chelsea on the pitch, and we expect his influence at Stamford Bridge probably will be felt more behind the scenes. But let's wait and see. Speaking of bizarre Premier League transfers, Florentino Louise's move to Ipsswichtown also caught quite a few offguard, but for a totally different reason to Jordan Henderson. That's because Burnley had the obligation to purchase the midfielder this summer for a fee in the region of 20 million which they went ahead and did in June. However, less than two months of being a Burnley player on a permanent basis, he then jumped ship and made the move straight back to the Premier League to join Ipsswitchtown, a deal which they were able to hijack from Hull City, who were interested first. Ultimately with Burnley being relegated from the Premier League, they felt like they probably made a mistake with that obligation to purchase Louise and were just happy to make the money they had spent on him back. Let's wait and see if he's more of a success. Let's wait and see if he's more of a success for Ipsswitch this season. Sebastian Halz, someone who we've not heard about in quite some time. And a transfer you might have missed this summer is him moving to Japanese side Hiroshima following his deal in Germany expiring in the back end of last season. And the 32-year-old has already made a decent start at his new club, scoring in his second appearance for the club. And another familiar face who's headed to the J League is Jackson Irvine, the former whole city midfielder. The 33-year-old has spent the last 5 years playing in Germany, but this summer fancied a new challenge and completed the move to Japanese side Carzo Osaka. At the start of the summer transfer window, Cresencio Somerville was being linked with some of the biggest clubs in Europe, especially after having an eye-catching World Cup campaign with the Netherlands. He was almost certainly going to leave West Ham this he was almost certainly going to leave West Ham anyway this summer, but initially had the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, and even Paris Sanjgeran all tracking him. So, it was quite the curveball when he decided to join Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal instead. However, given the lucrative contract that they offered him, you could hardly blame it. At West Ham, previously, he was estimated to be earning around 50 grand a week, but now playing in Saudi Arabia is reportedly pocketing £278,000 per week, and it's all tax-free. That in mind, you can see why he's made the move. Now, speaking of players who made a name for themselves at the World Cup and got themselves a big transfer on the back of it, Vzinia definitely falls into that category. The Cape Verdie goalkeeper managed to amass international fame and grew his Instagram following exponentially during the World Cup and on the back of some of those eye-catching performances got himself a move to Colo Colo, one of the biggest clubs in Chile. When you consider that last season he was playing in the Portuguese second division, not many would have believed he would make such a lucrative move at the age of 40 had it not been for the World Cup. But here we are and we hope he absolutely smashes it. But we'll finish off today's video with Andros Townsend who's completed a move to Thai club PT Prattap this summer. Now this transfer didn't completely come out of the blue. He was already playing in Thailand last season playing for Canchanobi Power although they were relegated. But instead of returning to English football like many thought he might at the end of this season, he's decided to stick around in Thailand. Now, if you've been keeping up with Andra Sansen on social media, he's been making waves recently on Tik Tok and Instagram for his guru lifestyle videos. Whether or not they're your cup of tea, we'll leave to you in the comments down below. But the 35-year-old former Tottenham winger is certainly leading an interesting life these days. And now in his senior years, seems determined to become a bit of a journeyman in Thailand, which I don't think anyone saw coming a few years ago. But there you have it, guys. That will now wrap it up for today's video. Thank you very much for tuning in. Do get your honorable mentions in the comments down below for any other random transfers that we might have missed.
