he could play for it. Nobody has scored more goals in the playoffs. Nobody has scored more goals in the regular season. Inner Miami look to continue that form tonight at home. But keep in mind, Maxi Morales, Justin Hack, both have started 39 straight games for New York City. That's tying an MLS record. Miami is one game away, but New York City upset after upset in these playoffs will try to make it a fourth straight on the road. New York City is dealing with a little bit of an issue. Taon Gray's got two attacking players from Miami on the back post. >> Messi will send this ball in. THE HEADER IS RIGHT AT FREEZE. A great chance for Matteo Svetti. >> New York City got to be a little careful allowing Rodrigo to pull to have the vision and eyes to play the ball forward. >> Direct to Aende. [screaming] The question is going to be whether or not the right shoulder the attacking shoulder in front of Aende does he is he in an offside position but he has been absolutely >> Marcela are on yellow cards and now the ball's back into play. [screaming] What a goal. >> You can't allow players like Jordi Alba to find this freedom. But watch the run from Mayende outside and in. SPLIT THE TWO defenders in a world class header. >> They're really going to have to fight through it tonight now as they trail 2-0. Fernandez Mau does well to get around Valone, but then it's right at Rio Snowbo from a narrow angle. And New York City still looking for their first really good chance of this Eastern Conference final. >> Perhaps it will come here. IT DOES. AND THEY PULLED ONE BACK. It's Justin Hack. THE BROOKLYN NATIVE HAS GIVEN NEW YORK CITY LIFE TWO TO one to keep Justin Hack on side. Everyone else holds the line. Sveti does not. He drops deep. Justin Hack on side. Oh, it's dangerous. IT IS GIVEN AWAY. IT'S MAXI MORALES. >> STILL THERE FOR NEW YORK CITY. OH SHOT is blocked. WHAT A CHANCE for New York City. Well, and one of the positives of Rios Novo is how good he is with his feet. But a sloppy ball to Falconee across his 18 yd box and Hannis Wolf steps in perfectly. But Maxim Morales not quick enough to react. He's got to win that ball. New York City know they have to go on the road again if they can figure out a way to come back and advance to MLS Cup. >> Jordy Alba Aende [screaming] the hattick was on his forehead. Those are the kinds of opportunities that we've seen Aende miss this season. It's a wonderful ball in from Jordy Alba. And it's difficult in the moment to criticize Aende after his second goal was a wonderful header. But that one's got to be on goal. It's got to be Fernandez Mau to Wolf. Back to Fernandez Mau cutting it back post. What a save. RIO JULIAN FERNANDEZ THOUGHT HE HAD AN EQUALIZER. Fernandez Mar does a wonderful job to find the next layer run. Great ball in behind from Hannes Wolf, but the back post completely wide open from Miami. Floating it to Jordi Alba knocking it back to Messi turning, SLIDING. They defend the set piece, BUT KEEP AN EYE ON THIAGO Martins as this ball's played back across. He's slow to react. He's defending Aende too deep. Svet's on side to go. He is isolated with Fernandez Maui. He has Jordi Alba making a big run up the middle. He has the Paul as well. He slides into Jord. [cheering] >> HE'S BEEN A PLAYMAKER HIS WHOLE LIFE. Whether he was the number 10 AT VALENCIA, WHETHER HE LEFT AND WENT BACK TO BARCELONA, BUT HE right foot wasn't it. >> I'm not I'm not absolutely I wouldn't touch that. Oh, >> ye. Is it five? A Patrick Marende. >> I ruffled some feathers this week because I said with Svete Nende playing off Messi is a false nine. I'd argue Miami is unplayable. IT'S OVER. NO ADDED TIME. INTER MIAMI HAVE WON THE EASTERN CONFERENCE AND THEY WILL HOST MLS CUP IN SOUTH FLORIDA. One week from today.
