Two teams who have been based in nearby New Jersey, so it's a short trip for them to here in Philadelphia, which is engulfed in the colors of Brazil and Haiti. And inside this stadium, the scene something to behold tonight. >> [cheering] >> An extraordinary outpouring of support for not just the team from South America, the winningest World Cup team in history, but also the small, often troubled, island nation of Haiti. Well, look at that scene. Vinícius Júnior has found a lane and he's stayed on his feet as well. Finally bundled over and the referee will give a goal kick. >> [cheering] >> Paquetá's presence out there is certainly the interesting selection. Brazilian media generally pilloried his performance at the weekend. They were not impressed. Well, Ancelotti acknowledged it. He admitted it wasn't one of his better ones, but he keeps faith in him tonight. Here they are in behind and into THE NET. BRAZIL HAVE SCORED. RAPHINHA WITH THE BREAKTHROUGH. BUT THE CELEBRATIONS look like they could be short-lived. They are holding play. But the flag went up on the far side. Well, some of the most famous faces are in the building tonight. And they committed numbers and they could be caught at this moment cuz Raphinha is going to clip it just wide. And we had another flag right at the end of this sequence. And that shot is saved, and on the follow-up it's going to go into the Haiti net. It's going to go down AS AN OWN GOAL. BUT BRAZIL HAVE SCORED JUST BEFORE THE MIDWAY POINT OF THE FIRST HALF AT THE PHILADELPHIA STADIUM. CUNHA'S TAKING THE PLAUDITS. AND IT'S A BRAZILIAN BREAKTHROUGH. >> [cheering] [cheering] >> And here's Vinícius Júnior stepping into the box. >> [cheering] >> Cutting inside, going for the far post, and on the rebound Cunha is right there. But the defender cuts it off, and unfortunately the ball goes in the goal. It looks like it hits off of Cunha. May well just be a little deflection off Cunha, so he will be able to claim it, it seems. There's the touch, and there is the little touch off Cunha's shin as well. And he'll take it. Cunha's other other goal was in uh Cup qualifying. An inauspicious night for Brazil. They were beaten 4-1 by Argentina. Now then, Haiti raiding into the penalty area. Their approach will be fascinating now on a night where they know if they lose, they're out of the competition. But, Brazil will be looking for goals and plenty of them, and they might get another one. Raphinha's touch not really firm enough. >> And this is smart from Brazil here, allowing Haiti to have the ball more in the back, maybe to find the space behind on the counter. >> It's a counter that starts now for Brazil. Vinicius Júnior slips it through, and then it's fired into the roof of the net. THERE'S NO DOUBT THIS TIME. Cunha has the goal. Brazil have two. >> [cheering] [cheering] >> Called into the starting 11 and responding. >> And we were just saying how smart it was for Brazil to pull out Haiti a little bit more so that they could find the space behind. Good recovery in the middle of the field. Vini Júnior gets the ball, automatically finds Cunha on the diagonal run, and he buries this left-footed into the upper corner. >> Just well, he's almost falling away as he hits it and you sense Paciência almost wrong-footed by that moment. >> [cheering] >> A brace for Cunha. And again, [cheering] Haiti caught flat. Vinny Jr.'s in and Brazil have three. >> [cheering and applause] >> THEY'RE STARTING TO SAMBA IN PHILADELPHIA and Vinny Jr. has his SECOND GOAL OF THIS FIFA World Cup. >> And once again, we see this play develop in midfield. Paqueta turns, sees all that big space behind. That line is so high and of course Vinny Jr. takes advantage and tucks it right under the goalkeeper. >> A lot of poise in that finish. Scored a spectacular goal in New York, New Jersey stadium against Morocco. That was a goal that salvaged something, ultimately got Brazil back on the front foot in their group opener. Tonight he scores a goal that you sense is part of what they want to be, a flurry against this Haiti group. >> [cheering] >> Pereira got with the corner. Near post, IT'S FLICKED ON AND THEY CLEARED IT AWAY FROM JUST A YARD OFF THE LINE. HAITI WAS SO CLOSE. >> [cheering] >> Vinny Junior cutting in cutting out and finding Martinelli. Guimarães oh, LAID UP BEAUTIFULLY AND THAT'S OFF THE CROSSBAR.
