You always Christ. with a lengthy international break out of the way. Club football has resumed across Germany this weekend. And as always, the fans have turned out in full force to fill the stands with hope of seeing their side claim valuable points that could have a huge impact on the table. Welcome to the Ba Brooker for live coverage of match day seven in Bundesliga 2 as Osnab host Dunam. Well, after a shaky start, promoted club Osnabook have settled into life back in the second tier. Team of Schultz's men have lost half of their opening six matches. Yet, they were able to relax somewhat over the break with just goal difference denying them a spot in the top half of the standings. In fact, a big enough win in their fourth home game of the season could elevate them to the dizzying heights of sixth place. It's worth noting, however, that the season is still young and with the bottom 11 clubs separated by a mere three points, sides can plunge down the table just as quickly as they can climb it. >> Today's guests, Duna Modresdon, know better than most how rapidly one's fortunes can change at this level. Last season, they won only three of their opening 17 games to spend the winter break propping up the rest of the league. For the Dunore fans Christmas wishes came true as they saw their side outperform all but three teams in the second half of the campaign to finish 11th. Disappointingly, history looks to be repeating itself with four points from a possible 18. Thomas Stam's charges are again lagging behind and Bundesliga 2 is back in action. But can Dunimal get back to winning ways? Schultz has remained relatively consistent when it has come to naming his starting 11 this season. This afternoon, he has opted to stick with the same players who began against Ke before the break. As a result, club youth product Benelman will once again share the main responsibility for goals alongside the club's top scorer this term, Robin Mesner. Misner in fact faces his former club today after helping Dunore seal promotion to Bunners Liga 2 in 2025. Osen Brook captain Yanick Müller achieved the same feat in Dunamos color scholars but back in 2016 during a six-year spell there thanks to the international break. Izzy Baji has had more time to recover from his niggling knee complaint. The dangerous wide man is finally fit again and he takes a spot among today's substitutes. Now Modrez and head coach Thomas Stam has taken drastic measures to shore up the club's leaky defense with sweeping changes at the back. Italian Simon Stradi switches to left back replacing Alexander Rosipal to accommodate Yonis Sterna over on the right. Club Academy graduate Friedrich Müller returns from international duty with Germany's under 20s and he takes the place of fellow youngster Till Nininger. Nikolai Ra who has yet to settle since moving from Carl's ruer in the summer drops into defense to be as Rashel takes over in defensive midfield and goalkeeper Tim Shriber is missing between the sticks for the first time since April. The 27year-old Leonard Grill is about to make just his seventh appearance for the club. Well, will those changes be enough for Dunamdon to arrest their very disappointing form at the start of this season? So many fans, so many observers of the game, expecting them to be at the other end of the table to be mixing it with the contenders for possible promotion at the end of the season. But as I said, history seems to be repeating itself. They are struggling for points even though some of the performances have warranted more. And there he is. Thomas Stam has said that the players should not over complicate the issue. They shouldn't let it mull around in their minds. They should be more instinctive and the goals will come, the results will come, the points will come and that will see the club slowly but surely climb their way up the table. A glance at the table tells us that Dunamodon are almost bottom level on points with Damstat, another club nobody expected to see, propping up the rest. Now they're just separated by goal difference. Four points a piece. The same with Ke in the relegation playoff place. Today's host Osnner Brook far better off in terms of their standing. They're in 12th and as I said have the opportunity to jump all the way up possibly to sixth if they could claim maximum points but they would need to score a few goals to get there. Timo Schulz underlined in his press conference that it is still so early on in this season that the table really shouldn't make a difference. The head coaches, I'm sure, across the division just looking at the performances, just seeing where they can make a few tweaks. Of course, they're still trying to bed in many new faces. Transfer window was full of activity, of course, in Germany's second tier. As we get our way closer to Christmas, that's when the standings will become more important. That's when they will become more relevant and will give us a true picture of who is really going to be in trouble this season and who will be forcing their way into the conversation for promotion to the big time in Germany up to the Bundesliga with the very big names in German football. Dr. Fabian Xnner leads out the teams. Today's referee time for the club to enjoy the anthem. We're all the peace of Osnabrook. A couple of years ago, the club introduced a sign language version of the anthem on the stadium's video screens to make the pre-match tradition more accessible that has caught on across Germany. And there you can see it in the background in the far corner. 2019, the Osnab Symphony Orchestra performed it live before a home match to celebrate the club's 120th anniversary and their promotion to Mundla 2. Our two captains for the afternoon, Nicholas Huffman on the left and Yanick Müller facing his former employers in the violet and whites of Osnab. Ow. What a big afternoon for Leonard Grill being handed his first start getting his first minutes of the Bundesliga 2 campaign and just his seventh appearance for the club taking the place the much more established Tim Shriber. Just one clean sheet so far for Tim Shriber and the club at the start of this new season. They've conceded more goals than any other team in Bundesliga 2. They need to tighten up at the back if they are to get the right results. >> What an atmosphere here at the Brema. But we're going to have to say goodbye to the anthem and get ourselves fully focused for kickoff here on match day seven. A mouthwatering prospect. Two teams who desperately need points. Arsenal of course starting well this season but they need as many points as they can get because they are up against it this term after coming up from the third tier. The ball is rolling here at the Brema book, home of Osbrook as they welcome Dunham Dresston. Match day seven continues in Bundesliga 2. Wonderful sunny afternoon. Dunamodon in their yellow and black of course playing from left to right in this first period of play as they are looking for just their second win of the season and they are looking to get out of the bottom two in the table. Plenty of room for improvement for the visiting team. They've got themselves an early set piece here as the ball is turned behind by Nicholas Vimman. Never present in Osnabrook's back line so far this season. Yona back into the starting 11 for Dunam Dresden. He's on set piece duty here. A second chance for the right back and he'll get a second corner kick here. A fine opportunity for the guests to start this on the front foot. Three goals so far this season from corner kicks for Dunden. >> Again, it doesn't quite have the elevation required. But Osnner are denied the opportunity to break and that's something that Osbrook have done very well so far this season. It really has been their approach since returning to Germany. Second tier is to soak up the pressure that their opponents apply and then to transition quickly and break. Not only has Milin have had more efforts from counterattacks than Osbrook as here they go through the gears quickly get the ball forward early. This is Misner just too heavy the delivery into the box along the ground for Ben Relman his partner in crane up front this afternoon. First little test for Leonard Grill. Drafted in in place of Tim Shriber this afternoon. Plenty of changes at the back for head coach Thomas Stam as he's tried to arrest the poor form. Simrai is comfortable at right back and left back. He has switched over to the left this afternoon. Friedrich Müller is back in. Nikolai Rap has dropped into the heart of defense. We've already seen Yona in action. Here's to Rashel. He has taken over in midfield from Nikolai Rap has come under a little bit of pressure from the fans and from the media and with plenty of experience joining in the summer from KL but not able to really make his mark on defensive field. so far in this young campaign. Let's see what Rashel can do in his place. Again, Book Po forward. An early ball into the box. It's Mesner. Poor control though. And in the end, he's not able to get his shot away before it's intercepted. Excellent work from Yonosa covering to ensure that Len doesn't need to make a save. Look at the space available initially to Misnap had that been a better first touch. Dun Modres's defense would have been in serious trouble. Just skips across his body and gives him much more to do than he wanted. Brook with their first corner. A free header. Back towards the corner taker. The whistle had gone. Teimo Schultz's mission is clear. Keep the club at this level in Bundesliga 2. >> Magnificent campaign in the third tier. Of course, it's a huge adjustment to step up to Bundesliga 2. Players having to get used to not having the better of their opponents, to not getting win week after week. But all in all, got to give Osnner real credit. They've knuckled down. They've ground out some solid results so far and they will be relatively content with where they are at this stage. Win today will be their third of the campaign. Add to that the draw that they picked up earlier in the campaign and they will be looking pretty comfortable. It's a position that Dunres would love to be in at the moment. That's ball forward to Fe. He's able to hold off his man but not latch onto the ball forward. This is just the third game between these two teams in Bundesliga 2 to go back to the 1920 season. Mars Brook won by three goals to nil when they met here at the Brema. It was a two- all draw back in Preston. This is our support from Chovic scored before the international break against calm play from Dunres to get themselves out of in a tight spot. May he keeps it moving across Simon Nika Chovic can't complete the one two. A youngster on loan from Verde Brmond became Duno Dresdton's youngest Bundesliga two scorer by netting against his former club Herta and there he is working well keeping Nicholas Lyman very busy and getting another corner kick here for Dunov. Oh, the short option is available to here and he takes it. Let's see if we can get more elevation on the ball into the box this time. The first two corners somewhat disappointing. This one's still alive, but it is rolled into the hands of the awaiting Yonas Kuml. The captain Yanik Müller under no pressure at all to get the ball moving. Finally, Vme decides to step it up. Encourage the number 24 to pass it on. That step up with the press allows a little bit of space here for Osnibbrook to work the left channel. No way through though for Jonathan Gomez who has started life at Osbor brilliantly since his lone move from Tessellaniki in Greece in the summer. Here he is the 23-year-old a man who has represented both USA and Mexico at international level. Thank you. >> Have too many options available as then he goes back to Nicholas Vimman. And while Luna Modresdon's last trip here in Bundesliga 2 ended in 3-0 defeat, the last trip here in any league ended in a 3-nil victory. That was in the 24-25 season in Germany's third tier. Daphna, Lema, and Daphnner again with the goals that day. Joel was sent off for Rossnuk with 15 minutes to go, but the damage had been done. Nosenbrook were able to exact their revenge though, one match from the end of the season in that campaign. Nicholas Vman with the only goal of the game asuk was successful in picking up the three points in Dresden. Decides to let rip from distance has seen plenty of the ball in the opening 10 minutes. A 24y old has been among the goals this season. Scored twice already. He's picked up an assist as well. Starting all but one game. Leonard Grill leaving it just a little bit late there. Expect there will be a fair share of nerves on his part. Wonder when he was informed that he would be replacing, as I said, the much more established Tim Shriber in between the sticks this afternoon. Huge responsibility for the 27year-old joined the club from Unon Berlin in 2025. Austin Brook's defense doing their best to squeeze out any space available to Dunham Modresen In the end, it's enough. Disappointing ball into the center from the guests. >> I've already seen in the opening exchange here how well Timston can move the ball around. They have one of the best pass completion rates in the league. They do like to spray it around. They find a friendly face more often than not. also do a great deal of running, covering more distance on average than any other team. Thomas Stamp said that for all of the running and all the passing, it doesn't really matter if chances are not being created, but that's something where they have fallen short. Tony Damsttat have had fewer shots than Dunamoddon this season. Damstat bottom of the table. D Modeston second bottom of the table. While they have the ball here or even a few yards further forward, Arsenal Brook won't be panicking. Very well drilled and organized team. Robert Vagna dropping deep into defense to pick up the ball and try and make something happen. He covers more ground than anyone else. Reached 14 km in that loss against Hera Berlin before the international break. He was absolutely everywhere. Now they can pass their way through. Get into a position on the edge of the box here. But can we see a good delivery or a decent shot here from Dunawat Resdon home team former wall. Now a chance to get the ball into the box and it is deflected behind for a corner kick. The buildup play is positive from Dunamdon. The final ball hasn't had the quality yet. Frustration for Jovich by this time the game before the international break against herovic had already scored. He netted in the 10th minute turn up the pressure here once more. Little comes from the set piece. >> They've got pecked back here. A cut back into the box, but it's absolutely packed with violets and white shirts. >> The game going exactly according to script with Osnabuk sitting back and soaking up the early pressure. This time the ball does throw across the face of the goal, but there's nobody in yellow to touch it in. And still they'll keep plugging away. >> Another corner kick for Dunham Dresden. Much better this time from the guests and frustration also on the face of Robert Vagnner as he sees the ball trickle past him, looks over his shoulder and then sees that there's nobody else on his side ready to poke it into the empty net. It's important now for to see if they can hold on to the ball for a couple of passes. And just as I say that, they give it away cheaply. Oh, good work from Duna denying Osenbrook any more than a couple of passes, any more than a few yards gained before they regain possession. Total dominance in terms of possession over the last 10 minutes from the guests. Let's see if they can convert that into chances. currently struggling their way through their worst ever start to a Bundesliga campaign since 2013. In their defense, they've already faced Herta, Nuremberg, and Hidenheim, who will find themselves, of course, at the right end of the table. Hera with maximum points. Nuremberg just a couple of points behind them. And Heidenheim picking up four wins and a couple of draws from there. Seven matches played. This is an encounter with a fair share of history as well back in May 2011. Then third division side won their second leg promotion playoff game here at the Roma Brooker 3-1 in extra time to claim a spot in Bundesliga 2. Two years later, Liga two side Dunamol beat third tier Osnabbrook in the playoffs to stay up. Here they come pouring forward once more. Wanted an early ball into the big frame of Femite who stands at 6'4 tall. This is Halen. Quick footwork from him and he is able to work his way into a position where Arsenal put it behind for yet another corner kick. Tim Schultz's men have dealt well with crosses from open play. They have not dealt well with corners, having conceded three so far this season. >> Better delivery this time. The yellow shirts will stay up in the penalty box here. A bit of a mismatch with Jonathan Gomes. Now keeping tabs on this man FA mismatch in terms of height but still the Texas Bourne left back comes out on top and we've got a goal kick here for Yonas Krom. A little bit of a lull in the stands here before the next chance begins. The home fans haven't had a great deal to get excited about so far. No shots on target for the hosts, but also no shots on target for the guests, even though they've had 75% of the ball in this match. So much patience from Osnabrook. That was something highlighted by Thomas Lamahhead of this game. But they are quite happy to sit back. They're quite happy to take their time. They're in no rush to get the ball forward. When they do win it back in midfield or in an attacking position, that's when Madres will be in danger. Out from the back. They have all of the time in the world. DNA s disappointment for Ben Risman who was hoping that the flag would go the other way and Osnarbrook would be awarded an attacking throw. Simon Strai who made his full debut for the club last week. I say last week in the last match three weeks ago. Brilliant determination there from Dun Modres and captain Nicholas Hubman to get onto a ball that he was never going to get to. He wants to lead by example and show that the players are doing absolutely everything within their power to address the situation they find themselves in. Griezmann stays on his feet. This is Vagnner out of a midfield partnership with Bak Yakobson. Both of whom have started all games so far this season. The same goes for this man Patrick Kamaba over on the right side. sensing their team needs a lift. The home fans crank up the volume. Bobic. Initially, it looked like referee Darker Axner was going to allow play to continue. I think it's fair to say that Patrick Camabal didn't get near to playing the ball. Certainly played the man. has been a shining light since his move from Mines was confirmed this summer after an initial six-month loan with Dunham Dresdton has already scored and set up one. He makes his way into the center waiting for a delivery from here. Here he is. Bobine goes for something cute but gets his angles wrong. Once more, it wouldn't have counted had it dipped in at the far post. It was an interesting comment made by Tim Schultz ahead of this game. He said that in the three friendly games that Osnarbrook played in the international break, there wasn't anybody who stepped up and really knocked on his door for a starting place against Dunston. So there's something that has happened in the past that one or two players have shone and they've immediately been put into league action at the next possible opportunity. That didn't happen this time around. Although he was able to give some of the fringe players a few more minutes and a couple of the players who joined late in the transfer window some minutes that included Elias Bakanda he's not among the substitutes today there was an opportunity for someone else that someone else was Leon Flack and he is among the substitutes per
