welcome back to barcel Universal in another big champions league night we were let down by collapse of the highest order as Barca fell 41 to PSG in today's video let's break down what went wrong right from opening kickoff Barca won the back foot and things weren't looking good psg's high press and manm marking system was causing them plenty of problems contrary to the first leg going long to levandowski didn't work as either Lucas Hernandez or marinos stepped up to prevent him from holding on to the ball fortunately Barcelona managed to break the press and score a fantastic goal in the 12th minute but that wasn't enough and it should have been at the 29th minute Mark Ronald arajo tackled the last man Bradley barcola on the edge of the box and got himself sent off it was a reckless Challenge and there was no scenario where Barca would have defended a lead for 60 Minutes especially not with one of their best players and not against a team like PSG in the next hour Barca completely fell apart they conceded 21 shots held only 33% possession and didn't play like a team that had a semi-final birth on the line let's do a quick analysis of psg's goals and see where things fell apart for demes equalizer in the 40th minute PSG created an overload on the right side of the pitch granting barcola plenty of space on the left vitina faked right and quickly switched the ball to the left where Baka had time and space to send across into demo to make matters worse Canelo lost track of him psg's second goal and the one that equalized a tie 44 was the result of poor manm marking and overall sloppy defense while vtina took a great shot he had way too much time and space at the edge of the Box mbappe's penalty in the 61st minute was the result of another Reckless challenge Canelo did not have to tackle demo mbappe's final goal right before the whistle was a pure mess yet again Barca exited the Champions League with a whimper moving forward what are the takeaways here there were a couple standout performances from the blr that we have to appreciate Rafia stepped up yet again kundi was solid throughout the night and yamal played brilliantly in the few minutes that he got second while not a good thing this all but confirms chai's departure the Porton company have to look for his replacement sooner rather than later third Barca have one last chance to turn their season around and end it on a high note without Classico this weekend they need to forget about this poor performance and play more like the team they've been over the last 3 months rather than the team they were against PSG thank you so much for watching let me know your thoughts in the comment section how do you feel about the team's Champions League performances this season do you think they can turn things around this weekend against Madrid let's see if Barca has a little more fight left in them
