hello cool airs pablo here and welcome back to boston universal and welcome back to a brand new video on the channel today we've got a massive video as fernan today's has officially joined barcelona he is a new barcelona player he's left manchester city he's joined barcelona and it's a big big signing for bassa of course this signing itself was a specific request from chaby the head coach of barcelona and it really does feel especially at this time of year like a really big statement signing from barcelona and exactly the sort of signing we should be making in today's video we're going to be analyzing everything about the transfer the positives the negatives where we'll fit and play what to expect from fanatic barcelona as well as all of the details so essentially everything you need to know about this transfer fernando's barcelona it's all coming up let's get started so first off let's get a few details on the way of course fernan has left manchester city he's joined barcelona for 55 million euros plus 10 million euros in add-ons the transfer has been made official today on the monday tomorrow tuesday is going to be fernando's official presentation as a barcelona player interestingly enough actually fernando's currently been nursing an injury for a few months now since october but he is now fit again and he can now actually begin training with chavi's team he is expected to make his debut in the commentary match on the 5th of january against linares deportivo regarding shirt number that's a little bit unclear right now i think fedan is expected to inherit the number 11 shirt of barcelona but if yusuf damage doesn't leave in time then of course ferran can't take that kit number so if he can't get it in time then you imagine a phenomenon needed to take the 19 or the 25 at basa and before we go any further i asked you guys how you felt about the signing of fernando's about 400 of you replied there and a lot of you guys seem quite hopeful quite excited about the signing they're either excited or happy and of course at this stage to be fair there are still a few fans who are still a little bit unsure so let's begin with the actual analysis of the signing of fernando's then and what we can actually expect from ferran at barcelona which i suppose is what we're all here for i think first of all what i'd say is this fernando's in my opinion is an excellent signing for barcelona i think he's exactly the sort of signing that the club should be making i also like the fact that he's a specific request of the coach that means that chaby knows what he wants from him and i think it's fair to say that was ferran his development over the past few years has been absolutely top class i think you can go right back actually to when he first emerged into the valencia first team i think immediately you know clubs around spain the top ones barcelona real madrid even atletico they all knew you know this was a top top talent but i think certainly it's the last few years really where ferran has kind of developed he's matured into a proper footballer a real talent of spain someone who could go on to be one of spain's greatest players of all time i feel i think under peppa man city of course you know with that man of city team he didn't get an awful amount of game time but i do think he developed massively as a player especially as a center forward uh whilst he was under pep at city and i think really the way he matured into the star man or most of luis enrique's spanish national team has been really why barcelona are paying this big money for him i really do feel that fellaini's developed a lot here he's one of spain's biggest talents he's already producing on quite a high level and i think the positive is that chubby himself sees fernandez a player who can you know quite seamlessly fit into his team that's crucial so what are the big positives and the big talking points to discuss when it comes to ferranto's moving to barcelona i think the first thing i'm going to pick up on is kind of what i just touched on there at the end of my last sentence and it's the adaptability for animal health to this team i think ferran immediately probably want to think about this move thought hang on a minute this could be perfect for me he already knows a lot of the players at barcelona you know i think right now of course barcelona and the spanish national team do share quite a lot of players there are a lot of spanish for young players coming up through the ranks of barcelona right now fernan of course will be familiar with a lot of them gavy petery of course he's very close friends with eddie got a cr2 but i think footballing wise i think fedan would actually see moving to barcelona as a mass opportunity for him i think barcelona have said you know you can be actually one of the stars of our new project here i think he's gonna have a massively important role i think adapting to the football shouldn't be an issue for him and i think that's a big reason why charlie wanted to bring him in so much i think fernan probably feels like he could be the guy that comes in and scores the goals the team needs especially at this such a crucial time in the season i feel like fernando can come in and either be the number nine or the left winger or the right winger he's a very adaptable player as we'll get on to in just a moment but i think fernan already in the last few years has really developed into sort of the player who actually can take the responsibility since he's debuting the spanish national team no player has scored more goals than ferran and luis enrique's team you look at him at man city too i think the way he was you know moving in the box in the last few months under pep certainly at the start of the season before his injury when he was in that number nine role he looked dangerous really dangerous and i do feel as if fernando is developing massively as a player and he's coming to barcelona a really exciting time and i think not only you know barcelona signing one of spain's biggest talents it's always going to be exciting it always is guys i think in general you know signing fedan is brilliant you know real madrid will be happy with it a lot of clubs will be happy with it he's a top top young player but i think crucially guys if you take a look at this season which certainly is you know what we're worried about now signing a player ferrana's quality when we know we need goals that's massive we spoke about in the previous videos guys how you know barcelona are still in full competition and say we've still got to compete to get into the top four of la liga we want to go and win the coma le rey we want to go and win the spanish super cup and of course we want to go and win the europa league bringing someone like ferdan in there that's crucial that's really really big i think you know in january especially barcelona don't really ever make big signings that will come in the team immediately and change things up i think bringing in ferran at this point in the season with the way things have been going so far that is massive and taking a look at how barcelona could indeed fit ferran into their side here are a few lineups for you guys to look through this first one on your screen are gonna be some four three three variations as i said frank can either play on the right wing uh striker or left wing so of course he's very adaptable in that sense like a lot of spanish forwards actually i think it will will be interesting to see where chavi uses ferran where do you guys think he'll be used i'm expecting fan almost to be used as a number nine certainly in memphis to pay his absence right now i think especially if abdel doesn't go to the african combinations then you have ab dave got dembele feran up front of course you've got ansel fatty coming back now too braveheart it's gonna be coming back very soon you know of course memphis to pie by the spanish super cup should also be available so faster i've got options now also should glass come through this is really positive we've got loads of options but ferran in a 4-3-3 he can play anywhere across the front three and i suppose the same kind of goes for that three four three shape that chaby likes to use sometimes although it is interesting to know on this one if fedan is on the wings on one of these shapes then he is going to have to track back quite a lot and that's what's interesting about that 343 so maybe chavi from now on he will stick with a 4-3-3 it gave us good balance against sevilla i think it could work for ferdan however as with every signing it is only fair to have that sort of slice of caution and just a few things to pick up and i think that people are discussing of course in general there will be the the obvious questions about how long will it take ferran to adapt will you know take a year six months to really embed himself in the chubby side in my opinion i'm actually expecting quite a smooth transition for the spaniard but i think the main things people are talking about are really the money involved in the deal i think we'll address that first 55 million for fed in january with our financial situation with the fact that we probably need a striker we probably need a defender maybe even a goalkeeper right now i think people are thinking hang on barcelona in their situation spending 55 million on you know another winger attacker is that really the right way to go i think especially in our situation where we've struggled so much in front of goal really if we are bringing in an attacker you'd hope that they bring goals quality and end product you know can a fernand bring that absolutely you can but fernan isn't a holland saying it's not a player who's going to come in and score 30 goals a season just yet and that's probably where the questions might come from but what i would say to that is this guys i would almost really forget about the price tag in this sort of situation any other external factors and just focus on what we're getting here we're getting one of spain's best and most promising footballers someone who's proven himself in louisiana's national team as a star player and i think fernando will be an excellent signing for barcelona sometimes you know we've paid big money for players who just haven't fit fenan we've played you know quite a bit for but i think he will fit i think he will be a top player i think it is the sort of signing barcelona should be going for so addressing those sorts of questions and remarks i'd say yeah fair enough have you know have your questions you know you can have your doubts of course anyone can but trust in fedan trust in chavy and i think we've got the right one here so to wrap up then what to expect from fernando barcelona i would say lots guys i'm a huge huge fan of this player if you haven't already noticed i've said multiple times i think he's the sort of player barcelona should be signing and i'm really really happy that we've got him i really am i'm looking forward to seeing how he gets on in catalonia you know do people have reservations about the price tag and and how much he'll offer for that price tag perhaps yes and you know fair enough everyone's entitled their opinion as i say but i do think fellaini will very quickly adapt to barcelona i think he will very quickly become a fans favorite here at bath so i really do think that to me this signing feels right it feels that we're on the right path now and i am super happy with this signing guys as ever leave any of your thoughts in the comments down below i'm really interested to hear what you guys have to say about this one it's exciting for bassa it's a top signings a big signing ferran is a new barcelona player good luck for that raw behind you and goodbye
