Barcelona star Raphinha was the latest member of Hansi Flick’s squad put through a traditional ‘tunnel of slaps’ during training on Friday.
This came after the Brazilian was given the green light to rejoin full group activities alongside the rest of his teammates at the Ciutat Esportiva.
Frontman Raphinha was for his part forced to sit out each of Barcelona’s last two fixtures, against Getafe and Galatasaray respectively, owing to a muscular issue suffered whilst on international duty with Brazil last month.
The former Leeds United man spent recent days ramping up his recovery under the watch of the Blaugrana’s medical staff, with a view to being available to play his part against Real Betis this weekend.
And as alluded to above, after being cleared for full contact drills on Friday morning, Raphinha’s comeback was marked by a traditional process in Catalunya’s capital.
As proves the case upon any Barca player returning to fitness, the 29-year-old was subjected to a ‘tunnel of slaps’ courtesy of his teammates:
