Barcelona manager Hansi Flick shared some very good news at a press conference on Friday as he confirmed that captain Raphinha will be available for selection for Saturday’s La Liga match away to Real Betis.

The forward missed the first two games after the international break since sustaining a minor muscle issue in Brazil, but he should be good to go from this weekend and is eager to return to the starting lineup as soon as possible.

But Flick’s answer when asked about Raphinha made it clear the coach will be as cautious as possible with his minutes this weekend ahead of a crucial week with a Champions League trip to PSG and the first El Clásico of the season against Real Madrid next Sunday.

> “If you ask him, he’ll tell you he’s ready [to start], but for me it’s step by step. He trained with the team yesterday and did well, but we have a lot of games in the coming days and weeks and we’ll have to adapt. The best thing is that he’s available, and so is Frenkie.”

Raphinha will undoubtedly be hungry to play on Saturday to regain some rhythm ahead of next week’s monster games, but Flick is clearly being as careful as possible with his captain to make sure he’ll only take the field if he’s 100%.

So today’s Barca Blaugranes Question of the Day is:
