The Rojiblancos will be looking for their sixth consecutive win after beating Real Sociedad, Osasuna, Real Madrid, Alavés and Manchester United.
They will face Espanyol, who have won just two of their eight matches so far this season.
Johnny Cardoso and Koke could miss the match. Neither trained with their teammates this Friday.
The American is still feeling unwell, while the captain trained alone in the gym following the death of his mother.
