Manchester United youngster JJ Gabriel has this week drawn comparisons with a legendary figure at Barcelona. This of course comes amid the ongoing speculation linking the 16-year-old with a Blaugrana switch.

Attacker Gabriel has dominated the headlines across not only Spain, but all of Europe for several weeks now.

After informing current employers Man United of his intention to move on at the earliest opportunity, the England youth international was immediately linked with a whole host of the game’s top clubs.

Front and centre on Gabriel’s list of alleged suitors have been Real Madrid, and the aforementioned Barcelona.

And as alluded to above, this week, the versatile young attacker has been likened to a player to have spent some of the standout years of his iconic career lighting up the pitch in Blaugrana colours.

As per a report from Diario Sport , citing sources in Manchester, owing to his quick feet, explosivity and flair:
