Pedro Porro’s future is being talked about once again, with the Spurs defender again being linked with a move to Spain to play for Barcelona.
Barcelona and Real Madrid are “exploring moves” to sign Porro, according to a new report from England, but will need to spend big if they are to land the Spain star.
Tottenham are said to be ready to “demand a world-record fee for the right-back” after seeing him pen a long-term deal over the summer.
The Premier League club would only think about selling Porro if a fee of £75 million (€88.6m) arrived. Such a transfer would make Porro the most expensive right-back on the planet, eclipsing the fee of €57m (€67m) that PSG paid for Achraf Hakimi.
Porro is said to be interested in heading back to Spain to play for either Barca or Madrid. The report adds “intermediaries have spoken” with both clubs about the defender.
Barca are also said to be “assessing” their full-back options. Jules Kounde keeps on being linked with a move away from Barca , while Alejandro Balde is struggling for minutes and could also seek an exit.
